Marshmallow AKA “Marshy” is a sweet older kitty that is looking for a warm and quiet place to live out her twilight years. As you can see from her pictures, she is a lightly toasted Marshmallow and has been through some difficulties in her life. At fourteen years old, she lived for over thirteen years outside, until her caretaker passed away, leaving her in need of a home to call her own. Marshy has trouble seeing due to poor vision and crossed eyes, but her other senses are still sharp, and she loves to play with small toys and balls, she still has plenty of playful energy to go around. She does have arthritis in her old age and is currently on a joint supplement. She can be sensitive to new noises and places and takes time and attention to adjust. She likes to be spoken to, and it also helps her locate where you are and what you are doing and feel more comfortable. She is very food motivated and will seek you out when she is hungry, talking and asking for pets and attention in exchange for her dinnertime. Catnip and treats are other favorites of hers. She does not like to be petted on the top of her head, and can get nervous when first approached. But she loves side neck scratches and for her tail to be petted as well as being brushed. She is unique and lovable in so many ways, and tends to gravitate towards being affectionate to her favorite person. She does okay with other cats that give her space, but can get grumpy at them if they push her boundaries. Luna is a 4–5‑year‑old flame point Siamese with the sweetest personality and a love for rubs, cuddles, and conversation. She’s incredibly friendly and vocal — especially when she’s getting the attention she adores. We’ve had Luna for about a year, and she’s been nothing but affectionate, gentle, and easy to love. She’s currently working on her weight, but she has no other health issues and thrives with a calm, loving environment. Luna would do best as the only cat in the home, where she can soak up all the affection she deserves.
