At just **8 months old**, this handsome Siamese boy is already looking for his forever person. He was abandoned in an apartment and somehow made his way to us—and from the moment he arrived, what he’s wanted most is simple: **love and companionship.** He is an incredibly affectionate young cat who loves being around people and is happiest when he’s getting attention. He’ll happily soak up the love you give him and return it right back. He also enjoys spending time with the other foster kittens, so he’s a social little guy who appreciates having feline friends around. He’s young, affectionate, playful, and has a whole lot of love to give. Now he just needs someone to give him a place to call home.

### Meet Sir Crustington, a.k.a. Crusty Sir Crustington may have arrived looking like he had completely forgotten that he was supposed to be a distinguished gentleman, but he has certainly grown into the title. When Crusty came to us, he was in very rough shape. We believe he had once been someone’s cat before being put outside, where he struggled to survive. He developed severe mange, to the point that his eyes were crusted shut, and he needed significant medical intervention and care before he could feel like himself again. Life outside was especially hard on him. He was repeatedly attacked by other cats, and those experiences have stayed with him. When he sees another cat, he can become frightened and instinctively cower, so Crusty needs to be the **only cat in his home**. He is looking for a quiet, safe place where he never has to worry about defending himself again. Crusty is **still recovering**, and his coat has not yet completely returned to its normal condition. His fur is continuing to grow back and improve as he recovers from the severe mange he experienced. Because he is still on his journey back to his full, handsome self, we are also open to a **foster-to-adopt home** for Crusty. This would give him the opportunity to continue recovering in a comfortable home environment while his family gets to know him and see just how wonderful he is. Crusty is **FIV-positive**, but FIV is not a reason for him to be overlooked. With a safe indoor life, routine veterinary care, and regular vaccinations and monitoring as recommended by his veterinarian, FIV-positive cats can have many happy, fulfilling years. He has already been through the hard part. Now Sir Crustington is ready for the much easier assignment: being someone's spoiled house cat. ❤️ **Crusty is looking for an indoor-only home where he can be the one and only cat. A foster-to-adopt arrangement may be considered for the right home.**

Mist is a stunning 6-year-old Siamese cat with a calm spirit, a loving heart, and a story of resilience. After spending many months surviving as a stray in the harsh Texas heat, Mist is finally safe and ready to find the loving family she deserves. Little is known about Mist's life before she appeared around an apartment complex earlier this year. She was first noticed in January and relied on the kindness of neighbors for food and care. Despite the challenges of life outdoors, Mist remained friendly and trusting. When she was found, she had become quite thin from living outside, but thanks to dedicated caretakers, she has received the medical attention and nourishment she needed and is now thriving. Mist is the perfect companion for someone looking for a quiet, affectionate feline friend. She enjoys relaxing near her people and is happiest simply being part of the household. Whether you're reading a book, working from home, watching television, or gaming, Mist will happily keep you company. She has a peaceful presence and appreciates a comfortable spot where she can lounge while spending time with her favorite humans. After enduring life on the streets, Mist is ready to trade the uncertainty of outdoor living for the comfort and security of a forever home. She deserves a family that will cherish her for the sweet, gentle companion she is. If you're looking for a calm, loving cat to share your days with, Mist may be the perfect addition to your family. Mist has already been spayed, and has received a thorough veterinary workup and is up to date on her vaccinations. Recent bloodwork has been completed, and she is found to be of good health. She is currently being fostered in Houston but can be transported to any state and even Canada to the right home.
