Meet Fortune : Your Quiet, Blue-Eyed Companion 🐾 Fortune is a stunning, blue-eyed boy with a gentle soul and a quiet way of making himself part of your everyday life. This intelligent Siamese–Russian Blue thrives in a calm, loving home and forms deep, meaningful bonds with his people. Fortune came to Four Paws from a partner shelter in Southern Virginia after his owner sadly passed away. He had been living in a quiet home, and that background really shows, he feels most comfortable in a peaceful environment with a predictable routine. He’s more of a “be near you” cat than a “be on you” cat. Fortune loves curling up nearby, keeping you company while you go about your day. When he wants attention, he’ll let you know with a soft, sweet meow. He’s incredibly smart (he’ll even come running when you call him!) and has a quiet, loyal presence that makes him easy to love. Fortune can be timid and a bit jumpy at first, especially in new environments. But with patience and a calm approach, he truly settles in and lets his affectionate, gentle personality shine. He has done well bonding with teens and will build a strong connection with a family who understands that trust takes a little time. Because of his sensitive nature, Fortune should be the only cat, as he can be territorial and feels most secure when he doesn’t have to share his space. Fortune does have some anxiety and is currently on medication to help him feel his best. He also has asthma, which is well-managed with daily medication. He takes both easily and does very well with a consistent routine. Robin is a petite and slender Siamese lady, by appearances a lilac point. She comes to 4Paws from a rescue partner in Oak Hill WV after being surrendered by her owner who could not afford care for the many cats in the home. She has a confident and friendly personality. In her foster home she is getting along well with the resident cats. She is not interested in playing with any of them--in fact the ones that try to engage her in physical play get rebuffed -- but she has become a snuggle buddy with a few. For the most part she is a couch potato but on occasion she will play by herself with a fresh catnip banana. She enjoys 24/7 access to a good quality chicken-based kibble and twice-daily servings of juicy Fancy Feast canned as well as Temptations treats. She uses an open top, high sided litter box with World's Best unscented corn litter. She often follows her foster mom around the house and ends up chilling out in the same room, but she also spends time snoozing with one of the other cats. She likes human attention and petting. Because she likes being around another cat, she is best suited to a home with a friendly, low-key kitty to be a quiet companion. Meet Daisy | 3-Year-Old Flame Point Siamese Daisy is a beautiful 3-year-old Flame Point Siamese with a cloud-soft white coat and striking light grey eyes that will melt your heart the moment you meet her. Daisy comes to 4 paws from a partner rescue in Tennessee. She is seeking her forever home in the DC metro area. Daisy may start out little shy but will quickly get adjusted. In her foster home she was venturing out to explore the house and satisfy her curiosity. As she grew more comfortable over the following days, her sweet and affectionate personality began to shine through. She welcomed gentle pets, and before long, her happy purr could often be heard from across the room. Daisy is a calm, gentle cat who enjoys wandering around the house, watching the world go by, and observing everything happening around her. One of her favorite spots is by a window, where she can happily sit and keep an eye on the outside world. She's naturally curious and likes to quietly follow her people from room to room, making sure she doesn't miss out on anything. While she's not overly demanding, she loves affection and companionship and clearly enjoys being close to her humans. She also settled in with the resident cat in her foster home and has also been comfortable living alongside a young toddler. Daisy has a gentle nature and takes new experiences in stride once she's had a little time to adjust. Meet Zip, a 3-year-old Khao Manee beauty who has come all the way from Thailand! Zip loves to zip around, chasing toys or leaping onto cat trees. When he isn't playing, you'll find him curled up in a sunspot or napping on a blanket. At night, Zip will burrow under comforters or rest on your chest. He thrives on connection – often seeking humans out for attention, games, and headbutts. Zip would love to be an only cat so he can soak up all your attention. He might do okay with a mellow cat who doesn't mind being bossed around. He would do well in a home with adults and/or older children. He is being rehomed due to unresolved friction between him and one resident cats. Zip is litter trained, neutered, microchipped, FIV/FELV negative, had a recent dental, and up to date on his vaccines and flea/tick preventative care. He has Feline Hyperesthesia Syndrome, but his symptoms are well maintained with daily medication. He takes pills well and comes with pet insurance to assist with bills.
