Story
We received great news yesterday regarding Big Daddy Hoss’ bloodwork. While he was treated for double ear infections with Claro on Friday, we were thrilled to learn that he is heartworm negative, and all of his other tests showed that this 147 lb boy is healthy! Hoss is a 5 year old St. Bernard who is ready to find his forever family. He has settled in beautifully in his foster home, has done well with the other dogs in the home, and seems completely unfazed by the resident cat. Here are some things to consider when adding a St Bernard to your family: They need moderate exercise. They don’t require intense activity but do enjoy daily walks and time with their family. Overexercising, especially in hot weather, should be avoided. They don’t tolerate heat well. Saint Bernards are built for cold weather and can overheat quickly. They need air conditioning, plenty of water, and limited outdoor activity during Texas summers. Expect drool and shedding. A lot of both! Keeping towels around for drool and staying on top of brushing will make life easier. Hoss has bibs that he wears to help with his drooling. Grooming is necessary. Regular brushing helps manage shedding and prevents mats. Health care can be expensive. Giant breeds are prone to issues like: Hip and elbow dysplasia, Arthritis, Bloat (gastric torsion), Heart conditions, Eye issues If you’re interested in meeting this gentle giant and making him part of your family, please fill out an application at www.rescuerowinc.org. *Please check your junk email folder if you do not receive a response from a Rescue Row member within 3 business days. *You must live within an hour of the DFW Metroplex because we do trial adoptions and require a homecheck *Our adoption fees are as follows paid by cash, a check made out to Rescue Row, Venmo: @Rescue-Row or at Zelle: info@rescuerowinc.org Dogs 12 weeks-6 months old: $300 adoption fee Dogs 7 months and older: $275 adoption fee Rescue Row is a 501(c)3 (non-profit) all volunteer dog rescue organization serving the DFW Metroplex. We are dedicated to rescuing dogs in shelters, dogs in abusive or neglectful situations, and dogs surrendered by their owners because of difficult circumstances. We place dogs in loving, responsible, committed permanent homes, following a comprehensive adoption process, which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a dog into their homes and lives. Dogs in our care are spayed or neutered, microchipped, receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment, and placed in nurturing foster homes while they await placement in their permanent homes. We assist dogs in distress without regard to age, breed or ease of placement. Dogs in the greatest need take priority. Finally, we strive to work with shelters and other rescue and humane organizations to develop a network of supporters and volunteers in order to create a better world for homeless dogs. ##2763139##

Story
Pinky is the sister to Lovey and another one of our mama dog’s adorable babies. At 9 months old, Pinky is a sweet, gentle girl who loves attention and being part of the action. She has a playful puppy spirit but also has a very kind and loving nature. Like most young pups, Pinky gets excited and may jump when she’s happy to see you. With a little training and guidance, she should learn quickly and blossom into a fantastic family dog. Pinky is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and heartworm negative. She will be ready for her new home in mid-February. While she is Lovey’s sister, they do not need to be adopted together. Pinky would be thrilled to find a family who will help her continue learning and growing. In concern for families with small children, we will not adopt a dog to a home with any child under the age of 5. This is due to the large size of Saint Bernards and the safety of your children. Our Saint Bernards are not aggressive or mean in any way, they can just knock down children easily. If you would like to visit our pups please contact St. Cloud's Rescue at www.stcloudsrescue.org or call 972-679-5319. The first step in adopting from St. Cloud's Rescue is to complete an application. The application may be found OUR WEBSITE at www.stcloudsrescue.org. Please click on the application process, complete and then email it. Once the application has been sent please call us to confirm that we have received it. St.Cloud's Rescue maintains the right to deny applications to anyone for any reason we see fit. St. Cloud Rescue is a non-profit 501-c-3 organization. St. Clouds Rescue requires new owners to purchase a one year supply of heartworm preventative from us, which is at cost. We require a home visit prior to all placements. All our dogs must be microchipped at a cost of $20.00. There is a $350.00 donation fee. All dogs adopted through St Clouds Rescue must be indoors. Story
Lovey is one of the sweet babies from our mama dog and is about 9 months old. True to her name, Lovey has a gentle and affectionate personality. She enjoys attention, loves being around people, and has that happy puppy energy that makes you smile. Lovey is still young, so like most puppies she can get excited and may greet you with a happy little jump. With basic manners training and consistency, she should respond very well and grow into a wonderful companion. Lovey is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and heartworm negative. She will be ready for her forever home in mid-February. She does not need to be adopted with her sister, but she would love a family who is ready to give her love, patience, and some fun puppy adventures. Story
Nana is the mother of Sullivan, the 7-month puppy. Both were found to be strays. Nana weighs approximately 110 pounds and has a beautiful rough coat. She is spayed, current on all vaccinations and heartworm negative. She does have an extra long tongue which she was either born with or it was due to trauma sometime in her life. It does not affect her ability to eat or drink, she just has a very long tongue. She is approximately 2-3 years old, has a great disposition and is ready and looking forward to finding a wonderful new forever-home. In concern for families with small children, we will not adopt a dog to a home with any child under the age of 5. This is due to the large size of Saint Bernards and the safety of your children.
