Story
Shelter visiting hours are 12 pm to 4 pm - Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays Please fill out an adoption application at mamcorescue.org or attend one of our Saturday adoption event. Events are held each Saturday from 12 pm to 5 pm at our office: 2721 W Oxford Ave., Suite 6 Englewood, CO 80110 *In order to protect our puppies, we do not allow puppies to attend open events until they have a minimum of two vaccinations. Puppies who are available, but not listed on our weekly Facebook event, are considered "deposit only" puppies. These puppies will only attend the event IF they are reserved through a deposit. You can check the list of puppies attending the open event by checking the event: https://www.facebook.com/MAMCORescue  At MAMCO we understand that in order to continue rescuing moms and babies, we must stretch our finances as far as we are able. For this reason we use variable adoption pricing. By assigning higher adoption fees to high demand moms and puppies, we are able to rescue more families in need. The money raised through these adoptions acts as a benefactor to moms and puppies in our care who require expensive veterinary treatments, have behavioral issues, or need more time to find a home. We often reduce the adoption fees on these harder-to-place moms and puppies to help them find forever families. Adoption fees vary. Applications can be filled out at mamcorescue.org. Unless otherwise stated, all of our dogs are mixed breeds. We never guarantee the size, breed, or temperment of any of our puppies.  ##2243750##

Story
Hi all! My name is Reggie. I was born on July 25, 2024. I am a 4 month-old poodle. I weigh 12-15 pounds. I was told I am a standard poodle. I was surrendered through no fault of my own. I am a very happy, playful guy. I love everybody! I love to run and play outside, toys, my foster siblings and soft beds. I am crate trained and working on potty training, which is going pretty good! I’m a very smart boy.I want to find a home that will teach me all the things a boy needs to know, take me on walks and car rides, give me lots of attention and lots of love. If you think I would fit well with your family, please contact Miami Animal Alliance.Fostering and transporting to places where there is a need for adoptable animals, saves lives, its that simple. Miami Animal Alliance's goal is to be the premium go to place to find your new family member! We work carefully with our Veterinarians and foster families to prepare our pets to be a healthy and happy new family member! Our adoption donations help cover our medical cost, food and transport costs. All pets are up to date on vaccines, Flea treated, Dewormed, Spay or neutered, FELV/FIV, Heartworm (if of age) tested and micro-chipped. Please do not use autofill on adoption application. Inputted info deletes when it submited and then we can't reach you. Local Oklahoma adoptions donation fee is $175 for dogs. Dogs transported to Colorado is a total complete fee of $325 unless their is a special price for certain pet. Cats and kittens are $100 local, $150 total complete fee if transported to Colorado. At times the fee may be adjusted for a special dog.

Story
Meet Sprocket, a 4-year-old Poodle mix with a big personality and a heart full of potential. Sprocket has had a rough start and comes with a history of reactivity and biting. He’s a scared dog who needs a firm, experienced owner to help him feel secure and establish boundaries. Sprocket has had training sessions and responds well to clear, consistent leadership. Once he knows you’re in charge, he’s much more relaxed and doesn’t push back. However, he does react to new people and should wear a muzzle during initial introductions for safety. Despite his challenges, Sprocket has no health issues and thrives on affection from his trusted person. He enjoys being cuddled and will show his sweet side once he’s built trust. If you’re an experienced dog owner ready to provide a structured, loving environment, Sprocket could be a rewarding companion. He’s looking for someone who can help him overcome his fears and show him the love and stability he deserves.

Story
HIGHLIGHTS:Needs another dog of similar size in the homeNeeds a fenced-in backyardExperienced and patient family Meet Snickerdoodle, a gentle Golden Doodle who weighs 52lbs, who is still learning that humans can be a source of love and safety. She’s extremely shy and prefers to keep her distance, but she will dutifully walk on a leash for essential outings like vet or groomer visits. Her past has left her with a guarded heart, but with consistent care, patience, and a gentle touch, we believe Snickerdoodle has a world of potential just waiting to shine through. This lovely girl will thrive in a home with a calm, confident dog companion to guide her and help her feel secure. She’ll need an experienced adopter who is prepared to patiently show her that humans can be trusted friends. A securely fenced yard will be essential to give her safe space to explore at her own pace. While she may seem distant during a meet-and-greet, Snickerdoodle carries a heart full of promise, and with the right family, she’ll blossom into the loyal and loving companion she was always meant to be. Could you be her forever family?- - - - -Before being rescued, many of our dogs have had limited socialization, so they may need a bit of time to adjust to life as a family pet. Older kids are often a great fit for our dogs, and homes with younger children will be considered based on each dog`s individual needs. Skills like house training and leash walking may take a little extra patience and practice. However, with understanding and a gentle hand, most of these dogs adapt quite quickly. Being a part of their rehabilitation is a truly rewarding experience. To learn more about mill dogs and start the adoption process, visit our website!
