Story
Meet Sprocket, a 4-year-old Poodle mix with a big personality and a heart full of potential. Sprocket has had a rough start and comes with a history of reactivity and biting. He’s a scared dog who needs a firm, experienced owner to help him feel secure and establish boundaries. Sprocket has had training sessions and responds well to clear, consistent leadership. Once he knows you’re in charge, he’s much more relaxed and doesn’t push back. However, he does react to new people and should wear a muzzle during initial introductions for safety. Despite his challenges, Sprocket has no health issues and thrives on affection from his trusted person. He enjoys being cuddled and will show his sweet side once he’s built trust. If you’re an experienced dog owner ready to provide a structured, loving environment, Sprocket could be a rewarding companion. He’s looking for someone who can help him overcome his fears and show him the love and stability he deserves.

Story
Meet Kona - Your Giant, Goofy, Loveable Cloud! Kona is a big Aussiedoodle with an even bigger personality. This fluffy superstar is equal parts silly, sweet, and full of life. He has that classic doodle bounce, so expect some enthusiastic hops when he is excited. His energy is contagious, and his goofy antics will have you laughing every day. He adores his people with his whole giant heart, but he is still working on feeling calm around other dogs. He can be reactive on leash, so he will thrive in a home that can offer structure, patience, and positive training as he continues to learn. He would much rather focus on you anyway. Your cuddles, your treats, and your attention are his favorite things in the world. Despite his size, he is a total softie who loves being close, making you smile, and showing off his goofy charm. If you want a loyal companion who brings joy, laughter, and lots of fluff into your life, Kona might be your perfect match. Rescue Notes:Kona will thrive with an adopter who can continue his training and help him build confidence on leash, especially around other dogs. He gets mouthy when he is excited, so ongoing guidance and structure will help him channel that enthusiasm in positive ways. He would love a home with a fenced yard where he can play, explore, and burn off his happy energy. Apply online at www.lolasrescue.com  ##2587576##

Story
Lacey is 6 years old, a poodle mix, microchipped, and has received her parvo/distemper and bordetella. Previously adopted in 2023. She was returned to the rescue in 11/2025 after the owner was unable to keep her.   Lacey is microchipped and current on the DAPPV vaccine, dewormed, and has her bordetella. AN UPDATED RABIES VACCINE IS NEEDED. It is said that Lacey is a very loving and affectionate dog who enjoys being the center of attention. She shows signs of jealousy toward other dogs and would rather be the only dog, especially so she can enjoy uninterrupted lap time. She will do better as the only pet for uninterrupted affection, even though she can tolerate other dogs. Although she has lived with children before, she might do better with older children who are more likely to respect her need for time and space. Because she is kennel trained, Lacey can enter her kennel without any problems, especially when it's time for her treat. Although she has demonstrated strong potty training abilities, she might benefit from a refresher course to strengthen cues. Her bathroom routine is supported by the doggie door she has access to. Recommendations Suitable for a household without other dogs or with very calm, respectful animals to avoid jealousy issues. Best matched with families with older children who understand dog body language and respect Lacey’s need for personal space. Rabies vaccination should be scheduled right away in order to protect her health and comply with legal requirements. House training and cues should be consistently reinforced to ensure consistency. Please fill out an application at www.fureverdogdenver.com, if you have any questions or would like to meet her, please call Debbie at 720-588-6809. ##1621369##

Story
Canelo is an approximately 8-year-old poodle mix who exhibits a youthful and energetic personality, characterized by his increased activity levels and a strong desire for attention. He has been neutered, microchipped, and is up to date on all vaccinations, which are excellent indicators of his good health and readiness for a new home. Despite his bright demeanor, Canelo's previous living conditions were less than ideal; he was having accidents inside, so he was left outside. Canelo thrives on close human contact and shows a particular comfort and affinity for being around children. His preference for intimacy and attention makes him a wonderful candidate for a family environment that can provide frequent, positive interactions. Given his exuberance, a home with older children who understand dog behavior and boundaries will be the best fit, helping to prevent unintentional overwhelm or inappropriate play. To ensure Canelo’s success in a new home, it is important to establish a supportive routine that includes regular, scheduled outdoor bathroom breaks combined with positive reinforcement and close supervision. Gradually expanding his allowed roaming space and careful nighttime management will further reinforce his housetraining efforts. With patience, structure, and love, Canelo is poised to become a joyful and well-adjusted companion. For those interested in providing a loving home for Canelo or who wish to learn more, please fill out an application or contact Debbie at (720) 588-6809 to arrange a meeting. ##2575332##

Story
** If you are interested in adopting Noelle, please fill out our adoption application at http://farfels.com/farfels-rescue/adoption-form/ ** Meet Noelle! Noelle is a silly and friendly 1 year old, 30 pound Doodle of some sort! The vets believe she is a Schnoodle (Schnauzer / Poodle mix). This sweet girl was recently relinquished to a small rural shelter in Texas alongside two other dogs. Her former owner, who was experiencing homelessness and lacked access to transportation, food, or basic resources, made the heartbreaking but selfless decision to surrender her pups so they could have a chance at a better life. We’re so grateful she did—Noelle deserves nothing less. Noelle is super friendly with both people and other dogs, and she thrives on attention and playtime. As a young pup, she would do best in a home with someone who has the time to engage with her and channel her energy in fun, positive ways. Since Noelle is so young, she is a blank slate just waiting for a kind and patient human to show her the way. With positive reinforcement training, she has all the potential in the world to be a loyal, well-mannered adult companion. She’ll thrive with virtual or in-person force-free training classes, which will help strengthen her bond with her humans and build her confidence. Noelle is up to date on her vaccinations and is spayed. Farfel's Rescue is a fully foster based rescue, and offers a one week trial with every adoption. We feel that this is much more beneficial to not only the dog, but the adopter too. We believe that only getting 20-30 minutes with a dog before deciding on a lifetime commitment is not a fair amount of time to the adopter, or the dog. Therefore we give adopters one week with the dog to assure it is the right fit, and offer a full refund of their adoption fee should it not workout within the week trial. Farfel's Rescue has been doing adoptions this way since 2005 and is thrilled to adopt out ~400 dogs each year. Applications are currently being accepted for our wonderful pup. If interested in this gorgeous, very cuddly/sweet and loving best friend, please fill out an application completely at http://farfels.com/farfels-rescue/adoption-form/ and submit. **PLEASE NOTE** If you're truly interested in adopting from us, please be sure to fill out our Farfel's Rescue adoption application found at the link above or at farfels.com. Adoption site applications such as Petfinder and Adoptapet don't provide enough information and therefore aren't useful. Our Farfel's application is the only initial tool that we have to determine a great match for this very deserving dog. We're sorry, but in many cases, we're unable to get back to those that don't submit our Farfel's Rescue adoption application. Thanks very much for choosing rescue.

Story
Animal Rescue of the Rockies believes every pet should find a wonderful and caring home. To ensure Cane #2 finds the best possible home, we ask you fill out our adoption application so we can learn more about you and your household. We review each application in the order submitted and will contact you within 48 hours  (please check your spam folder for our emails) .   Cane #2 | 2-Year-Old Poodle Mix | Playful and Full of Personality Cane is an energetic and affectionate 2-year-old Poodle mix with a heart as big as his personality. This sweet boy is nearly house-trained, enjoys walks, and thrives on love, attention, and treats. Cane is playful, friendly, and loves cuddling—he’s the kind of pup who will happily show his belly for rubs and prance around the room when he’s excited. He even has a little “dance” that is sure to make you smile! Cane gets along wonderfully with other dogs and would be happiest in a home where he has a canine companion to play with. While he hasn’t met cats or kids yet, he has a gentle and affectionate nature that suggests he could adapt well with proper introductions. He’s food-motivated, responds well to love and attention, and already knows basic commands like come, stay, no, and off. This little guy would do best in a home where someone is around for most of the day, whether working from home or retired. Cane loves being part of the action and will thrive with a family that can give him the attention he craves. While he can be a little mouthy during play, he takes treats gently and is eager to learn and please. Cane came to us as a stray, and now he’s ready to find a forever home where he can share his playful energy, cuddles, and endless charm with a loving family.   If you and the dog are a good match then we'll connect you with our dog's foster parents to chat more in-depth. If both you and the foster agree that the dog is a good fit then a meet and greet is scheduled. We require applicants' dogs to meet ours to ensure they get along. We'll ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement and pay the adoption fee to complete the adoption when it comes time. Our adoption fees help cover the costs of saving more lives!  A home visit will be scheduled within one week of your new pet going home with you.  The adoption fee for this pet is $500. Our adoption fee covers the following: Spay/neuter Microchip DAPP vaccinations as age-appropriate for the dog.  Rabies vaccinations as age-appropriate for the dog. Adopters shall be responsible for all vaccinations after adoption. Please fill out an adoption application by clicking  here . Please give us 48 hours to review your application and respond to you. (Remember to check your spam folder for our emails!) We want our pets to go to a lifelong new home, so thank you for your patience during the adoption process! Please email dogs@arrcolorado.org for more information, as we can't accept calls. PLEASE NOTE:  The breed listed is the information we've received from the shelter.  Shelters usually guess at the breed, so there is no guarantee, as we don't DNA test our foster pets.  Here is some interesting info on breed identification:  https://arrcolorado.org/category/puppy-dog-tips/ Our adoption process is: 1. Fill out our Adoption Application online.  We'll contact you within 48 hours to answer any questions you may have about the pet. 2. If the pet looks like a great match, we'll schedule a meet and greet and ask you to fill out our online Adoption Agreement if you'd like to proceed with adopting.  Once you've completed the Adoption Agreement and pay the pet's Adoption Fee, you can arrange to pick up your new furry family member!
