Story
Meet Sprocket, a 4-year-old Poodle mix with a big personality and a heart full of potential. Sprocket has had a rough start and comes with a history of reactivity and biting. He’s a scared dog who needs a firm, experienced owner to help him feel secure and establish boundaries. Sprocket has had training sessions and responds well to clear, consistent leadership. Once he knows you’re in charge, he’s much more relaxed and doesn’t push back. However, he does react to new people and should wear a muzzle during initial introductions for safety. Despite his challenges, Sprocket has no health issues and thrives on affection from his trusted person. He enjoys being cuddled and will show his sweet side once he’s built trust. If you’re an experienced dog owner ready to provide a structured, loving environment, Sprocket could be a rewarding companion. He’s looking for someone who can help him overcome his fears and show him the love and stability he deserves.

Story
Franklin is a phenomenal dog. He is a 10.5 year old standard poodle who is energetic and healthy. My husband and I have raised Franklin since he was a puppy. Since then, he has seen our family grow to now include 3 children 7 and under. We are no longer able to give Franklin the attention he deserves in order to have a thriving, happy life. We are looking for a happy home for Franklin that will provide him the following: - a space/opportunity to exercise and play during the day - a lot of cuddles and love - an owner who has time to break some bad habits (which will happen easily, he's very smart) - including counter surfing, taking food Franklin is very cuddly and loving towards all people - including children. He is friendly with other dogs. He will bark if potential strangers approach a home/yard and he is not familiar with them. He is a wonderful dog and we are willing to wait to find the right new home for him for his last chapter in life.

Story
Meet Freddie our sweet one year old poodle mix. He weighs 15 pounds full grown. He is neutered, microchipped and up to date on all his vaccines. The vet sent him home with a clean bill of health and is now ready to find a home all his own. He is house trained and goes outside to do his business every couple hours when needed. Inside the home, he's pretty independent and keeps to himself unless you're calling him over for some love and attention. He's not the type to demand affection, but he absolutely soaks it up when it's offered. He is still getting the hang of walking on a leash and building confidence as his previous life as a breeder dog didn't include many outings, so everything is still a little unfamiliar to him but he's making steady progress. He enjoys spending quiet time out in the yard and will happily hang out on his own, especially if he's not quite ready to come inside. He's a bit of a hide and seek pro when he wants to be. Every day he gets a little braver, a little more curious, and a little more confident. He currently sleeps in his crate peacefully at night but I'm sure he would love his own bed next to yours if you prefer. He sleeps soundly through the night and settles in easily when you need to step out. What he needs now is someone with patients and a gentle heart, someone who understands that love and trust take time to grow. He'd thrive in a calm, nurturing home where he can continue building confidence at his own pace. His adoption fee is $1500 which covers all vet costs, care and training since the time he's been with us. Get in touch with us today and share details about yourself, the loving home you can provide, and your experience with the breed. Located in Hesperia CA. We offer transportation to you so long as it's covered by the adopter. We will be in contact with you shortly. Thank you!

Story
0825102 - Meet Amber! Amber is an almost 7-year-old miniature poodle who’s ready to start her new life as someone’s beloved companion. She came to us from a breeder after retiring from having puppies and is now discovering what it means to be part of a loving family. After spending much of her life in a kennel, everyday things like grass and leashes are still new to her, but she’s making steady progress in her foster home. Amber has recently learned the joy of playing fetch with her stuffed animals and is starting to show her fun, affectionate personality. She can be shy at first, but once she warms up, she loves curling up next to her foster mom on the couch for snuggles. Like many dogs from similar backgrounds, Amber is still working on her house training. With a consistent routine and patient guidance, she’s doing very well and rarely has accidents when kept on schedule. Amber gets along well with other dogs but would also be perfectly happy as an only dog soaking up all the attention. She is now spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and has had a dental cleaning — she’s all set for her forever home! If you’re looking for a gentle, loving soul to cherish, Amber is your girl. Apply to adopt at www.sloppykisses.org/adoptions! ##2511692##

Story
0126010 - Meet Babe Babe is a 1.5-year-old Goldendoodle with the gentlest soul and the softest eyes. She’s the kind of dog who doesn’t rush into the spotlight—but quietly steals your heart once she knows she’s safe. At first, Babe can be shy with new people. She prefers to take things slow, observing the world from a cozy dog bed until she feels comfortable. But give her a little time (and a few treats!), and you’ll see her blossom. Once she trusts you, Babe truly enjoys being pet and will soak up gentle affection in her own calm, sweet way. What Babe loves most? Other dogs. She gains confidence from her canine friends and would thrive in a home with another friendly, confident dog to help show her the ropes. She’s quiet, well-mannered, and already house trained—an easy companion who fits seamlessly into daily life. Babe does great walking on leash, enjoys playing with her squishy toys, and is happily treat-motivated, making continued bonding and training a positive experience. We’ve been told she does well with kids, though she would prefer a respectful, calm environment. She will chase cats, so a cat-free home is best. Babe may not be the dog who runs up to greet you first—but she is the dog who will form a deep, meaningful bond with her person. If you’re looking for a gentle, loving companion and have the patience to let a shy heart feel safe, Babe just might be your perfect match.
