She was found as a stray alongside another dog, arriving matted, thin, and in need of care. Thanks to patience, kindness, and good nutrition, Deanna has completely blossomed her coat has grown back beautifully, and shes now a shining example of resilience and second chances. While her exact breed mix is a mystery, we like to say Deanna is amagnificent mutt possibly a poodle/terrier mix, but truly one of a kind. At approximately 4 years old and around 10 pounds, shes a petite bundle of energy with a playful spirit and a big personality packed into a small frame. Deanna absolutely loves other dogs and thrives with canine companionship. She enjoys playtime but is just as happy curling up close when the fun winds down. Shes doing well with both crate and house training, especially when her person pays attention to her cues shes polite and communicative and just wants to be understood. This dog is part of our shelter outreach program where we take dogs from overcrowded shelters in hopes of finding them a forever home here! We generally do not have much background info on them and cannot guarantee they are housebroken.  They are all up to date on vaccines, spayed/neutered and microchipped.    1 yr old, 60lbs.  High energy, needs an active home.   Poor guy was just left outside with no attention and no training.  Was a matted mess before he got a shave down.  Potential adopters will need pre registered obedience classes and a fenced yard.  He is a super sweet boy who loves attention.  Just needs some basic manners.   **Please note, we do not make any guarantees that this dog is 'non-shed' or 'hypoallergenic'.    *Per JSAC policy, puppies and kittens under 6 months will not be adopted to families with children under the age of 6 years.January 13, 2026, 5:32 pm

He was abandoned in a home along with another dog, and was severely emaciated and in need of medical attention. Nutmeg is a 4 year old Standard Poodle mixed breed who is receiving lots of love, supportive care, and working on getting back to a healthy weight. We are starting to take applications for him at this time Nutmeg is a young dog that will require a family up to the task of providing him the ample physical and mental exercise and training that all dogs require.
