Thankfully, a kind neighbor contacted the shelter after a few days, and Caesar is now ready for his next chapter. When he arrived, his coat was quite matted, but underneath it all was a healthy, happy boy who had clearly known love at some point—he’s already neutered and seems to be house trained. Pierre is a poodle with a gentle heart and a story of resilience. He was found in awful shape in Louisiana alongside his presumed brother, Pascal, who is also available for adoption with us. Pierre was dirty, extremely malnourished, and clearly hungry, yet despite everything, he remained incredibly sweet. Pierre is now on his journey back to health, and a good bath did wonders for both his looks and his spirit. He is now in New Jersey and ready to start the next chapter of his life in a loving home where he’ll never have to worry about being neglected again. Prentiss is a beautiful standard Poodle born on March 27, 2025. She’s a sweet, loving, and gentle girl. Prentiss gets along wonderful with other dogs and kids. She got to meet a few cats at her last vet visit and didn't have any issues with them as well. She knows how to walk on a leash and is almost potty trained. If she has an accident, she knows to use the pads. She loves to play with balls and stuffed animals. Prentiss rides great in the car and seems to really enjoy it. She is a total love bug. She gives lots of kisses and likes to snuggle up in the bed with you. This precious girl would make a great addition to any home. We would prefer that she goes to a home that has another dog because she loves other dogs so much.
