Hi, I’m Sophia! I’m a 3 year-old Poodle weighing about 60 pounds, and I’m as loving and loyal as they come. I’m already spayed, housebroken, and ready to make myself right at home with my new family. My current owner is moving to Texas and sadly can’t take me along, so I’m hoping to find a new place to call forever. I’m great with kids and other dogs, and I have a sweet, gentle personality with just a touch of goofy energy—sometimes I get so excited I do a little jump! I’m very food motivated, which makes me an eager learner, and I absolutely love curling up in my crate at night for some cozy rest. I’d thrive in a home with a yard where I can stretch my legs, explore, and play before settling in for some cuddles. A wonderful six-year-old male Standard Poodle, Nikki, is in need of a new home. He isa good-natured, well-behaved dog with an excellent disposition, recently completing a12-week training program to reinforce his skills. He is completely potty-trained and isgood with children. Unfortunately, his former owner has recently developed dementiaand can no longer care for him. Nikki has all of his shots and has regularly attended thevet each year. Poodles are known for their high intelligence, loyalty, and affectionate nature. Thissweet, sensitive boy is eager to bond with a new family and thrive in a caringenvironment. He is looking for a home where he will continue to receive attention,affection, and routine. Adopting an adult dog is a rewarding experience, as they are often calmer and past thechallenging puppy phase. WISE is entirely volunteer-run and all of the donations made to our rescue go directly back to the animals in our care. By partnering with veterinary practices that support our work, we are able to save animals lives and restore them back to health. While some animals only need standard care, others require more extensive veterinary or behavioral care. Regardless of which dog you are applying for, we are looking for adopters to support our program with a minimum donation of $850. The donation may or may not be directly applied to care of the dog you're adopting but rather goes toward supporting all of the dogs in the rescue. We appreciate the understanding of our potential adopters. He's smart and catches on quick but needs consistency and structure. Bowen is dog friendly and would do best as either an only dog or with another dog who is also playful. WHY DID THEY COME TO WISE: Bowen was rescued from a municipality shelter and is now ready for his forever home! Personality: Bowen is a joyful, loving dog who just needs a bit of continued guidance and structure as he learns. He very much enjoys his human companionship and is playful.KIDS: Yes, kids 10+DOGS: YesCATS: Unknown Training: Bowen is currently mastering potty training and improving with consistency. Bowen is new to leash walking and is also improving with structure on walks.
