Story
Standard Poodle Male Silver/Beige 6 years old 55 lbs Meet Bear: This sweet, easygoing boy is friendly with everyone he meets, including people, children, other dogs, and even cats. He's house-trained, has excellent manners, and is a joy to have around. Bear walks beautifully on a leash without pulling, knows commands like sit, stay, down, and paw, and can be trusted with free roam of the house. He's not a chewer, doesn't counter surf, and is respectful of your home. Bear's absolute favorite activity is playing fetch! Tennis balls are his favorite, and if you're busy, he'll happily entertain himself by tossing one around. While balls are his toy of choice, he's not particularly interested in other toys. One important thing to know about Bear is that he thrives with canine companionship. He becomes lonely when left as the only dog, so he must be adopted into a home with another friendly dog to keep him company. If you're looking for a well-mannered, affectionate companion who is ready to fit seamlessly into family life, Bear may be your perfect match! Please Note: **No children under 10!** If you are interested in adopting BEAR, please visit our website at www.somersetcottagepoodlerescue.org to learn about our adoption process and click on ADOPT to submit the adoption application BEAR's adoption donation is $895

Story
🐾 **Songi & Paengi – A Second Chance at the Life They Deserve** 🐾 Songi and Paengi's story began with heartbreak, but we're hoping it ends with love. Their former owner, a man, disappeared for reasons unknown, leaving both dogs behind. They were eventually discovered abandoned in the home, neglected and struggling to survive. When the owner's mother visited after receiving complaints from neighbors about constant barking, she found the house in terrible condition and the dogs severely neglected. Before contacting a shelter, she sold both dogs to a pet shop. When we learned about their situation, we knew we couldn't leave them there. We paid the pet shop to bring them into our care because both girls were unspayed, and we feared they could end up being used for breeding. Today, Songi and Paengi are safe at a private rescue center in Korea and have made an incredible recovery, both physically and emotionally. When they arrived, they were dangerously underweight. They suffered from severe diarrhea, excessive eye discharge, and badly matted coats. Despite everything they had endured, neither dog lost her gentle spirit. Both girls are sweet, affectionate, and incredibly loving with people. They enjoy the company of other dogs and have adapted beautifully to life in the rescue center. While they have never been introduced to cats, we do not expect them to show aggression toward them. Songi and Paengi share a special bond, and it would be wonderful if they could be adopted together. However, we understand that isn't always possible, and we are also open to finding them separate homes if the right families come along. After everything they have survived, these girls deserve families who will never abandon them again. 🏡 **Whether together or apart, Songi and Paengi are ready to begin the next chapter of their lives—with love, safety, and a family of their own.** ❤️🐾 **About Songi & Paengi** * Female * Friendly and gentle * Love people * Dog-friendly * Recovered from neglect and abandonment * Currently living in a private rescue center in Korea * Can be adopted together or separately Sometimes the most resilient hearts belong to the dogs who have every reason not to trust again. Songi and Paengi are proof of that every single day. ❤️

Story
Anaïs is a rescue who was adopted when she was 3 (she is now 4). She is a loving, affectionate, and playful companion who forms strong bonds with her people. She can be anxious in new situations and may need patience, reassurance, and a gradual introduction when meeting other dogs. Anaïs does best with calm, positive socialization and a supportive environment where she can build confidence at her own pace. I’m looking for a loving, patient, and stable home that understands her needs and will give her the time and support she needs to thrive.

Story
Meet Pete, a charming 5-year-old poodle who is ready to find his forever home. At 20 pounds of pure sweetness, Pete is the perfect companion for someone looking for a well-behaved, affectionate companion. He is fully house-trained, leash-trained, neutered, and current on all his vaccinations, making his transition into your home a breeze. Pete is a gentle soul who especially loves the company of kind women. He would thrive in a peaceful, adult-oriented household where he can relax and feel secure. While he is a bit intimidated by big dogs, he gets along well with smaller canine friends. A home with a small yard would be ideal, giving him a safe space to explore and enjoy his daily sniffs. After spending his life with a loving owner who could no longer care for him, Pete is eager to share his loyalty and love with a new family. Adoption fee includes: first 2 DAPP, bordetella, deworming, flea preventative, sterilized, heartworm test, microchip Adoption fee: $525.00   If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application and a representative will get back to you shortly to answer any questions you may have.
