Handsome is about 3 years old and came to us from a former breeder who sadly lost her home. He arrived in heartbreaking condition — severely matted fur, overgrown nails, and completely shut down — so we can only imagine the environment he came from. Despite his rough start, Handsome has the sweetest soul. He adores other dogs and truly blossoms when he’s around them, so his ideal home will have a confident canine buddy to help him continue building trust. He’s still learning the basics like leash walking and potty training, but he’s making steady progress. Handsome is ready for a home that will be patient, loving, and committed to helping him continue to come out of his shell. He was given up by his previous owner, who used him for breeding, and eventually lost her home. He came to us severely matted and shut down in demeanor. He doesn't know how to walk on a leash and is learning to use a doggie door so you can only imagine how his 'breeder' treated him and the other dogs he came in with. Radar is so sweet and within a day, eventually warmed up within his foster home to his humans. We would love for Radar to go into a home with another friendly dog, to help continue to bring him out of his shell.
