Story
This is a sad situation. Grace Kelly is my 97 year old Grandmother’s dog. Who has dementia and no carry over. Grace Kelly has several non healing wounds, high chances of being cancer. My grandmother continues to pick at Grace Kelly’s wounds and remove all bandages, we are unable to remove the growths due to this behavior. Grace Kelly is a loving dog and great companion, we hate to remove her from my grandmother, however Grace Kelly’s health demands it.

Story
Meet Santos! He is a 3 year old schnauzer/husky mix. He is a sweet, goofy boy who loves being with his human. Santos enjoys playing outside and like to play fetch; although he is still learning to give up the ball after retrieving it. He knows his sit command and is very treat motivated, but he still needs some training. Santos is about 50 pounds and does not realize his size and sometimes jumps on you or can be mouthy. He does however, respond well to correction, but needs someone who can use patience and positive reinforcement to give him guidance and boundaries he needs. He is a smart boy with lots of potential. Santos gets along with other dogs that are more on the submissive side and are smaller than him and he is totally fine with cats. He needs a more experienced dog owner that will give him the boundaries and rules he needs. He will also do best in an adult only home. Santos is full grown at 50 pounds. Our adoptions are restricted to residents within 30 miles of the South Bay area of Los Angeles. We do not ship animals or do long distance adoptions. See our adoption policies for more details on our adoption process. If you are interested in adopting one of our available pups, please complete an adoption application. You can find the application at: https://noahs-bark.org/adoption-application. We will arrange a meet and greet with the pet with approved applications only. Please note, an approved adoption application and meet and greet does not guarantee you will be selected to adopt the pup. We do not show our dogs any other time. Story
My aunt adopted him without knowing much of his background history. He needs a lot of play time my aunt doesn’t have the strength and time she did her best. She is getting him neutered before giving him away. We found out he has chicken allergies as well. So no chicken at all and grain free diet as well. He is super sweet and loving but he does need somewhat of obedience training. My aunt feels bad and really did all she could so I’m helping her rehome him. I think if he had a backyard to run around that is safe and contained it would be great for him to get out his energy.

Lucy is a 5-year-old Schnauzer mix; she is a happy girl who seems to do well with most dogs; she can get a little excited around cats. Lucy loves to get out and explore but will need a little training to perfect her leash manners, Lucy is doing well with potty training at her foster home. She is recovering from a spay and a uti, and has just had a dental. She will need to have a secure yard. Lucy cannot be adopted out of state. Story
Maka, a 68 pound 5 year-old female who is good with dogs and is housetrained, has been waiting a very long time for a home or foster. Why? She takes time to warm up to people, maybe because not a lot of people were nice to her before she came to us. She was rescued from the OC shelter pregnant, had puppies, they were adopted long ago and Maka has been patiently waiting for a home. Will you be her hero? Looking for the perfect Foster home until she finds her forever Home! Fill out an application today!December 5, 2023, 9:20 pm

Good with dogs, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Meet 1 year old, 8 lb, tiny terrier, Mina. Mina came to us from an Inland Empire shelter where she was adopted and returned. Mina is adorably happy, friendly, and tiny as can be. But, she is very jumpy, active, and fast. So she will need a home where her family will be very cautious not to let her escape. She loves people and dogs. Due to her size and speed, we want to see her in an active household rather than with someone who might trip if she gets underfoot. Apply to meet her at adoptocpets.org/adopt
