Handsome is about 3 years old and came to us from a former breeder who sadly lost her home. He arrived in heartbreaking condition — severely matted fur, overgrown nails, and completely shut down — so we can only imagine the environment he came from. Despite his rough start, Handsome has the sweetest soul. He adores other dogs and truly blossoms when he’s around them, so his ideal home will have a confident canine buddy to help him continue building trust. He’s still learning the basics like leash walking and potty training, but he’s making steady progress. So, we know he's an angel with kids for sure. In addition, he does really well with other dogs. Piper is gratel for all the love and likes to stay close by if he's not playing with other dogs. He's learning about the crate and a leash. At first, it took a second to get him into the car, but once he was in, he liked the ride. He liked it even better we think when he arrived at the foster home. He's not easily startled or shy about new people or other dogs. In fact, this is one of his outstanding qualities. He is a good match for a single person or a family.
