Story
Leo was one of 6 pups born to a Mexican Hairless Mom and perhaps a Schnauzer or possibly small shepherd (according to DNA) he is good with other dogs but would really like his own family rather than a kennel environment. He will probably end up around 30 pounds and is fully vetted to meet Leo please call Jean at 949-457-2233 or 714-803-0154 thank you!

Story
Adoption Fee $350. Please apply here - https://www.ozzieandfriendsrescue.org/adoptions We are trying to figure out why we have had Panchito for almost 5 MONTHS already?! Anyone have any ideas?! Schnauzer and Norfolk Terrier mix at 2-3 years old Panchito is the most darling boy on the planet! He is pretty independent, but he is good with other dogs and will play with them. We have not cat tested him but can if requested! We saved Panchito from a property with 13 other dogs. They were all going to be euthanized by the owner because they did not fix their dogs and they overpopulated themselves very quickly. We stepped in and saved them all. He has never been socialized and he needs a lot of confidence building! He gets startled by noises easily. He loves to zoom around the house or a yard, but he also knows how to just sit back and relax. Medium to high energy would be great for an active household! We're honestly not too sure how he is with kids, probably do better with older or more calm kids since he gets startled easily. Panchito is also looking for a long or short term foster! Can anyone open their home to this stunning boy? If interested in adopting kindly fill out the application found here www.ozzieandfriendsrescue.org/adoptionsSeptember 24, 2023, 12:13 am

Story
Meet Santos! He is a 3 year old schnauzer/husky mix. He is a sweet, goofy boy who loves being with his human. Santos enjoys playing outside and like to play fetch; although he is still learning to give up the ball after retrieving it. He knows his sit command and is very treat motivated, but he still needs some training. Santos is about 50 pounds and does not realize his size and sometimes jumps on you or can be mouthy. He does however, respond well to correction, but needs someone who can use patience and positive reinforcement to give him guidance and boundaries he needs. He is a smart boy with lots of potential. Santos gets along with other dogs that are more on the submissive side and are smaller than him and he is totally fine with cats. He needs a more experienced dog owner that will give him the boundaries and rules he needs. He will also do best in an adult only home. Santos is full grown at 50 pounds. Our adoptions are restricted to residents within 30 miles of the South Bay area of Los Angeles. We do not ship animals or do long distance adoptions. See our adoption policies for more details on our adoption process. If you are interested in adopting one of our available pups, please complete an adoption application. Story
Meet Honey! She is a 8 year old Schnauzer/Poodle mix, she’s a Schnoodle!!! Poor Honey has had a very rough life. When she was turned in to the shelter she was covered in foxtails. They were everywhere, imbedded in her skin, in her ears, and even her eyes! She had a corneal ulcer when we rescued her. We have come to find out that Honey is mostly blind. Her impaired vision doesn’t stop her from getting around though. She is very capable of navigating her foster home in just a few days. She can even make it outside to go potty and do her business. Honey is also hard of hearing, so you have to speak loudly when you’re trying to get her attention. She is likely hard of hearing because she has suffered from untreated ear infections most of her life. We told you she had a rough life but please don’t feel sorry for her, she certainly doesn’t feel sorry for herself! She is enjoying this new pampered life! She loves to snuggle up and lay on her foster moms lap in the evening and watch tv. She loves to lay in the sun in the grass during the day. Her foster mom says Honey is the easiest foster she has ever had and you can’t help but love her the minute you meet her! Her fur will grow out (she was shaved down due to the fox tails) and she has the softest hair ever! She feels like silk! She will have the most luxurious coat when it grows in! Honey has a clean bill of health. She is a very sweet girl, that doesn’t need a lot to make her happy. She just wants a soft bed, a warm lap and down good food and she will be happy! She isn’t a barker, she is crate trained, housebroken and just the chillest girl you could ever meet! Our adoptions are restricted to residents within 30 miles of the South Bay area of Los Angeles. We do not ship animals or do long distance adoptions. See our adoption policies for more details on our adoption process.
