Hopefully today is his day!!! Meet Wally a 12 lb white 2 yo schnauzer. Wally was in a high kill shelter severely matted before we pulled him into our rescue. His fabulous foster has been working on socializing him and he has made big strides. Wally is good w other dogs (preferably closer to his size) and would do best in a quieter home. No small kids. He is fearful of fast hands and needs to have an adjustment time. He wants to be loved so the right home who can give him patience and security will make him successful. He loves to play outside so a yard will be required and no apartments. Please give him a chance and do a trial to make sure he is a great fit. Meet Benji! Benji is a 2 year old, 80 pound bundle of love who is ready to find his forever home! He’s as sweet as they come and will happily cuddle with you or even lay right on your lap if you let him. Think of him as a big, curious toddler—full of personality and always ready to explore! Benji’s Favorite Things: - Snuggling whenever you sit down – he’s a total lovebug - Being your personal sous-chef in the kitchen and volunteering as your official taste tester - Car rides with his head out the window, soaking in every sight and smell Benji is potty trained, friendly with other dogs, and friendly. Whether it’s going for a spin in the car or just relaxing at home, Benji is happiest when he’s with his people. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion who will fill your days with joy (and maybe sneak a taste of your cooking), Benji is your guy! Benji came to Mazie’s Mission Rescue from a partner shelter as an injured stray. He was flea infested and full of worms with a fractured back leg. Benji was successfully treated for the worms and fleas. He underwent orthopedic surgery on his back leg in order to save it. He had to endure months of crate rest and limited mobility, but he is healing remarkably well! He still has 6 more weeks of somewhat limited activity but he is headed in the right direction! He has been spayed, microchipped, had two negative fecal tests, and is fully vaccinated.
