I got my name because I was found at the Pompano Boatyard inside, of all things—a Mako boat! The wonderful folks there brought me into their office, and that’s where I spent my first two months growing up. With people coming and going all day, I quickly learned to trust humans. I may take a few hours to warm up to new faces, but once I do, that’s it, I’m yours. I’m a super gorgeous gal and my foster mom says my fur is silky smooth. I’m currently in a foster home with a tiny Chihuahua, and we will be slowly introduced. My foster mom will also see how I do with her resident cat, just to make sure I’m the perfect fit for any future family. Although I loved being born in the Sunshine State, I’m excited for the possibility of finding my forever home up north, somewhere I can experience all four seasons for the first time - from the window of course :)

We are Ginger & Leo and are mother & son. Ginger is 2 1/2 years old and I am all Orange Tabby which is unusual for a female and my son Leo is 1 1/2 years old and he is Orange Tabby with White. We are so sad, because our humans had a baby and they recently found out that the young human is allergic to our fur. Our humans are sad, but they need to do the right thing for their young baby. We do really well with young children and small dogs. Me, Ginger, “Mom to Leo” I am very affectionate, but I am fine to just lay around the house and chill. My son Leo is shy at first, but once he sees the affection I get he quickly settles in and loves to cuddle. We would love to stay together as we have never been apart. Hawk & Rusty are brothers who are super close. Rusty is an orange tabby. His brother Hawk is orange tabby and white. The boys are 4 months old. They were born outside on the streets of South Florida, but they were saved by a kind trapper and they had a wonderful place to stay with a foster family. These boys are your typical wild kittens. They play hard & have the zoomies while awake. They love their humans but also love running around after feathers. She loves getting pets and attention. And now that she’s weaning off her babies, she has such a playful side. When she can’t get her foster dad's attention, she plays chase with her beautiful kittens. Candy is her daughter, she's 12 Weeks Old Candy, this social little girl was the first to seek pets and affection. She really loves people and getting pets the most out of her siblings. A real sweetheart who even likes tummy rubs. She’s playful, loving, and adores her mom. She'll melt your heart. These Kitten's Incredible Journey: These kittens are a part of a larger family of 6. This is the story of how they were saved from their dangerous nest area. The mother of the litter, Star, was found roaming a townhome community near a very busy highway when she was noticed and taken inside. It was immediately apparent something wasn't right. She really wanted to go back outside. One vet visit later, it was clear she was either pregnant or already had her babies. By attaching a tracking collar on her, we found Star and her amazing litter of babies right off the sidewalk of an extremely dangerous highway. Star, was so smart that once she saw that we found their nest, she had the foresight to bring all of her 5 kittens to the back porch of the person who took her to the vet and was leading the effort to save them. We were able to safely trap them, since the brave and smart momma brought them somewhere so much safer. They are now all ready to move onto their forever homes. Are you ready to open your heart?
