String & Greensleeves are a bonded pair, male and female respectively. Currently both 13-years-old and adopted as feral kittens, they bonded in the shelter and have been inseparable since. Both are super affectionate towards people in their own ways. String is very outgoing, loves attention, being held, and sitting on laps. Greensleeves is comparatively shy, but if you sit for more than 30 seconds she'll come right to you and enthusiastically loves pets. Both are super sweet and docile. Apart from sleeping, both enjoy spending time with their people, whether that's just sitting with you or playing games with toys. String is the more active of two, and still gets the zoomies despite his years. They are indoor cats, so they like exploring their homes and hanging out by open windows. The ideal home has people who love them.

6-23-26 Luca is the sweetest little baby! A perfect kitten; he loves people and is already a lap cat. A curious little guy who loves to play and explore. 5-19-26 Pickle is a beautiful, shiny and sleek mackerel tabby with short black fur and silver stripes. His white chin, chest and feet are adorable! These pictures don't do him justice, but he's only about 10-12 months old - and almost always in motion! He does have his down time, can be super mellow and he'd be a great companion for a person-but with other cats he can be aggressive. This could be a mechanism of self-preservation because he was found wandering and hungry on the city streets, and could dissipate? But for now, we think he should be an only cat. Once they trust you, they will come around and sleep in the same bed with you. They get along with the house cat and are getting used to a doggie, who regularly visits the foster home. Aki is a great cat who is very low maintenance. He is usually relaxed and enjoys a good head and cheek rub, but can nip a little when overstimulated. We adopted Aki as a kitten 6 years ago from a barn litter up in Maine with the intent to have him be an indoor/outdoor cat. This has been great for him as he likes the outdoors and does not need to use the litter box during the spring, fall and winter. The problem that has arisen this summer is that he has become an extremely avid hunter. While this has been terrific for controlling rats and mice, he will often range into all of our nearby neighbors' yards and leave a substantial number of dead rabbits behind. We would love to keep him here but we know he would be unhappy as an indoor cat. We're looking for a home where he could happily roam outside with more room to keep from traumatizing the neighbors.
