Tabby kittens & cats in New Baltimore, Michigan

This is Jazz, she is 21. My husband and 4 year old daughter are riddled with allergies, and we all thought we could tough it out through her end of life years, but she's tough! To try to help (and it has immensly) we set her up in the sun room. Its getting cold now though, and she deserves to be inside. Shes very well litter trained, still has all her teeth, and still even climbs tree! She's whitteling away with age, but her general health is good so I don't have it in me to start talking about her end of life. I just want her to be able to retire somewhere comfy and warm. Shes very aloof and will spend most of her time sleeping alone. She eats purina senior cat show as we found its the gentlest in her stomach (i think she knows this too and refuses to eat any other dry cat food lol). She lives with kids and dogs, so doesnt mind the chaos, just doesn't want to be involved

Pumpkin is the sweetest boy. Friendly, social, loves everyone, affectionate and snuggly. He wants to be near you, or following you around to watch what you're doing and just feel like he's part of things, a helpful companion. He likes lounging in the window, playing with his toys, but most of all he loves to be pet, held, hugged, doted on and feel loved. He will accept every bit, gently rubbing his cheek against yours, or laying his head on your chest. He is a precious, and very special cat. We still can't believe a great cat like this went ignored for so long. He lived on a porch and yard under a tree for at least a couple years or more. He was given random meals, but no one he could count on to make sure his daily needs were met or that he had a safe place. He never gave up on people, following the residents to their front doors begging to come in. Day after day, doors were closed in his face while he struggled, forgotten and forlorn, like he didn't even matter. We suspect he was abandoned from that home and never left the property, not understanding why he could no longer come in a house that was once his. We learned about him from a weekend visitor, and we went looking for him. There he was! Sleeping on the porch, right where they said he would be. It was 90 degrees out. Nearby, was a bowl of crusty old food, same one from a few days prior when we came looking. I walked up the porch with my carrier, set it down, opened it up. I worried a little when he didn't seem to wake or notice me. I said softly , "Hey kitty, you wanna come with me?" He stood up and came toward me, so I picked him up and set him in. We learned that he was severely anemic, barely alive. The ER was unable to diagnose why, and recommended we just put him to sleep. We were shocked! He was in great spirits, did not seem suffering, and was full of love. So we held out for a second opinion and our amazing vet was able to diagnose something completely curable. He began a heavy antibiotic for 8 weeks and made a full recovery. Transformed from tired, defeated, and withering (with a death sentence, to boot!) ...into a vibrant, healthy, handsome cat with a fresh start. He is so appreciative and such a joy to have around. To think... a hasty decision, and he would not be here today, ready to bless someone special with his clean bill of health and new lease on life. He can't wait to finally have a real home of his own. He needs to be the only pet and will thrive with someone who needs a good, loyal buddy. Fully vetted, perfect with litter box, polite, gentle, and very personable.

This beautiful brother & sister is a bonded pair of kittens, about 7 months old (as of March). They are very sweet. Shy at first with strangers, but warm up quickly and purring within seconds of being pet. Their personalities are quiet, gentle, relaxed. They like to be near you, hanging out, lounging on the couch. They are very bonded, in fact Money relies on Penny for his confidence. Penny is the braver one who explores and investigates first, while Money lets her make sure the coast is clear. He watches everything she does and then follows her lead. She loves to get close and bump you to pet her. She loves to be noticed and comes to you for attention. Money kind of waits for you to invite him out of his shell, and the instant you pet him, he is a purring machine. He rubs his face in your hand and enjoys every second. As he becomes more settled in his environment, he is very chill and wants to be just as much a part of the action. His personality is smart, always observing and learning. They were born at a landscaping shop with their mom and siblings. The guys working there brought them in for winter, and made a nice spot for them to stay in the shop. They were about 3 months old, so they had their full time with their mom and a decent start with people. A foster volunteered to foster a pair, so Penny & Money got to leave the shop and get a temporary home to prepare them for a permanent one. They have been in foster for about a month, and adapted quickly. They are having a ball exploring, playing, watching out the windows, watching their foster mom work on her computer, sleeping on her bed. They are ready for a forever home to grow up in. They would do best in a calm, quiet environment. Penny is the light tan, her unique shade is elegant. Money is the more gray tabby with amazing eyes that tell his thoughts and feelings. The are both strikingly gorgeous. Still small-ish not yet full grown, and their hair is soft as a bunny. They are both fixed and fully vetted. Healthy, happy, and perfect with litter box.

Wally is a sweet, loving boy with a big heart. He absolutely loves to cuddle and will happily curl up beside you for affection and companionship. He’s a gentle, affectionate cat who enjoys being close to his people.Wally would likely thrive as the only cat in the home, where he can soak up all the love and attention. However, with the right introductions, he has done well with certain cats and other animals.Wally is not declawed and has his natural claws, so he’ll need appropriate scratching posts. He’s looking for a patient, loving home where he can be spoiled and cherished.If you’re searching for a loyal cuddle buddy, Wally may be the perfect match for you.

Sativa or nicknamed “T.T.” was given to our family by a friend when she was 8 weeks old. She has been around kids of all different ages. She is also good with other cats and dogs preferable a more calm mannered animal. She is not the type to hide for long, she wants to be with the family. Unfortunately our youngest baby is allergic so we need to seek alternative options for her.

Billie has a very sweet and enthusiastic personality. As soon as she gets to know you, she will start purring when she sees you, and she is very likely to jump on your lap when she’s not playing. When we found out this little orange tabby kitten was a female (female orange tabbies are rare), we changed her name from Billy to Billie. She is totally up-to-date on all her kitten shots, and she is litter trained.  The vet took lab samples, treated her, and checked her for fleas. This was an outside kitten that I have been feeding on my porch since July. We believe she was born around July 1.  We brought her in our house on September 26th, she was in the cage for a day and a half and became litter trained. She has since had the run of my office. This kitten is an ideal pet, but I have three other rescue cats, and my last cat lived to be 20 years old—I am close to 80 years old.  This kitten deserves to have a good, forever home where someone loves her.

I was born outside on June 19 to a feral mom and a life on the scary streets. My mom was trapped and taken away for TNR and I was left all alone and scared. What's a little boy supposed to do with no food and no water? How would I live? Luckily a nice lady trapped me and found a foster lady to take care of me until I was old enough to get neutered, tested for parasites, get rid of the nasty worms and get my vaccines or I might have died out there all alone. My foster mom made sure I had a warm place to stay, good food and fresh water so I could grow up big and strong and lots of fun toys to play with. She had another foster boy for me to learn how to play with and we became good friends. I learned how to do zoomies and play with some cool toys and balls. My friend Squeak got adopted into a great home with other kitties to play with and have fun. I'm still stuck with foster mom whose old cats don't like me.
