Tabby kittens & cats in Saint Clair Shores, Michigan

I’m reaching out because I need to rehome my cats. Both are male and great cats, but my schedule has changed and I’m away from home far too often. I don’t have the time or consistency they deserve, and I want to make sure they ends up with someone who can give him proper attention and stability.

Pumpkin is the sweetest boy. Friendly, social, loves everyone, affectionate and snuggly. He wants to be near you, or following you around to watch what you're doing and just feel like he's part of things, a helpful companion. He likes lounging in the window, playing with his toys, but most of all he loves to be pet, held, hugged, doted on and feel loved. He will accept every bit, gently rubbing his cheek against yours, or laying his head on your chest. He is a precious, and very special cat. We still can't believe a great cat like this went ignored for so long. He lived on a porch and yard under a tree for at least a couple years or more. He was given random meals, but no one he could count on to make sure his daily needs were met or that he had a safe place. He never gave up on people, following the residents to their front doors begging to come in. Day after day, doors were closed in his face while he struggled, forgotten and forlorn, like he didn't even matter. We suspect he was abandoned from that home and never left the property, not understanding why he could no longer come in a house that was once his. We learned about him from a weekend visitor, and we went looking for him. There he was! Sleeping on the porch, right where they said he would be. It was 90 degrees out. Nearby, was a bowl of crusty old food, same one from a few days prior when we came looking. I walked up the porch with my carrier, set it down, opened it up. I worried a little when he didn't seem to wake or notice me. I said softly , "Hey kitty, you wanna come with me?" He stood up and came toward me, so I picked him up and set him in. We learned that he was severely anemic, barely alive. The ER was unable to diagnose why, and recommended we just put him to sleep. We were shocked! He was in great spirits, did not seem suffering, and was full of love. So we held out for a second opinion and our amazing vet was able to diagnose something completely curable. He began a heavy antibiotic for 8 weeks and made a full recovery. Transformed from tired, defeated, and withering (with a death sentence, to boot!) ...into a vibrant, healthy, handsome cat with a fresh start. He is so appreciative and such a joy to have around. To think... a hasty decision, and he would not be here today, ready to bless someone special with his clean bill of health and new lease on life. He can't wait to finally have a real home of his own. He needs to be the only pet and will thrive with someone who needs a good, loyal buddy. Fully vetted, perfect with litter box, polite, gentle, and very personable.

This beautiful brother & sister is a bonded pair of kittens, about 7 months old (as of March). They are very sweet. Shy at first with strangers, but warm up quickly and purring within seconds of being pet. Their personalities are quiet, gentle, relaxed. They like to be near you, hanging out, lounging on the couch. They are very bonded, in fact Money relies on Penny for his confidence. Penny is the braver one who explores and investigates first, while Money lets her make sure the coast is clear. He watches everything she does and then follows her lead. She loves to get close and bump you to pet her. She loves to be noticed and comes to you for attention. Money kind of waits for you to invite him out of his shell, and the instant you pet him, he is a purring machine. He rubs his face in your hand and enjoys every second. As he becomes more settled in his environment, he is very chill and wants to be just as much a part of the action. His personality is smart, always observing and learning. They were born at a landscaping shop with their mom and siblings. The guys working there brought them in for winter, and made a nice spot for them to stay in the shop. They were about 3 months old, so they had their full time with their mom and a decent start with people. A foster volunteered to foster a pair, so Penny & Money got to leave the shop and get a temporary home to prepare them for a permanent one. They have been in foster for about a month, and adapted quickly. They are having a ball exploring, playing, watching out the windows, watching their foster mom work on her computer, sleeping on her bed. They are ready for a forever home to grow up in. They would do best in a calm, quiet environment. Penny is the light tan, her unique shade is elegant. Money is the more gray tabby with amazing eyes that tell his thoughts and feelings. The are both strikingly gorgeous. Still small-ish not yet full grown, and their hair is soft as a bunny. They are both fixed and fully vetted. Healthy, happy, and perfect with litter box.

Grace is a cool cat, she knows tricks; sit,high five, lay down roll over and she loves to cuddle. She needs a family who spends time at home as well as a home with no small children or other cats. She does do well around calm children and older dogs. She comes with litter box, water fountain, bed, toys… everything needed to bring her home. This was my sister cat, and she has passed and I am not able to keep him he is a great cat very loving easy to get along with people and kids and dogs.

Patches is a very sweet, friendly girl looking for her forever home! She came from a neighborhood group of cats whose owners could no longer properly care for them. They signed ownership over to us so we could help her find the loving family she deserves. Patches gets along well with other cats and has experience both indoors and outdoors. She started visiting us every morning and evening like clockwork, patiently waiting for attention and dinner. She is smart, loyal, and full of personality! She loves couch snuggles, greets us at the door, uses a scratching pad consistently, and did great with a litter box. She clearly wants to be an indoor cat and often waits outside watching, hoping to come in. Unfortunately, with our own cats, we can only foster her in our garage/outdoor setup. We estimate she is 9-12 months old. She is not spayed, has no known medical records or microchip, and we are working on vaccinations and spay. Patches just wants to be loved and find her furever home! 😻😻
