Story
Ive had homie since he was born, quite literally in my room, my good friend was living with me and had a pregnant cat and being 15 at the time, my mom allowed me to keep a kitten. We had a strong bond for years, he is playful, loves treats, and overall a great cat! After having homie for 2 years I decided to take in another kitten and homie of course started to change a bit after that. He was mad understandably, but then became best friends with her! About 3 years later, I got pregnant and had my first child and immediately noticed a difference in homie. He did not like to come in my room, he wouldnt let me pet him, he was overall very jealous I believe. Its been a year since I had my child and homie has not adapted at all. He doesnt let me give him treats or play with him, he just stares at my child like hes unhappy. My other cat has adapted very well. I tried everything I could think of to get him to bond with me again, but its to the point where I believe he deserves better

Story
I have had Luna since she was 6 months old in 2017 from a local shelter. She has been my emotional support animal. She loves to cuddle and will come to you when you are crying. I am looking for someone to take care of her. She loves to go outside and can stay there all day but knows to come back everyday for food. I have an Apple air tag on her and she never strays away too far. She loves to go outside and come home eat, sleep and cuddle you. She HATES other animals so she cannot be in a home with other animals. I feed her wet food twice a day because she does not drink water so I will mix the water in her food to prevent a UTI. She is not a needy cat. She will just be in the house and come sleep on you when you are on the couch or sleep with you.

Story
Meet Leo and Binx — The Perfect Pair of Snuggle Buddies! Leo (tabby) and Binx (black) have been inseparable since kittenhood. Adopted together from the Humane Society, they adore people and are amazing with children — gentle, patient, and full of love. They’ve also lived peacefully with a dog, often curling up beside him for naps! Leo is a total sweetheart who loves to curl up on your chest and purr his heart out. Binx is your quiet shadow, happiest snuggling close by your side. Together, they’re the ultimate comfort duo — warm, affectionate, and endlessly loyal. Sadly, my husband’s allergies have become severe, and they’ve had to stay in a separate room — which isn’t fair to such loving cats. I’m hoping to find them a wonderful forever home together, where they’ll be cherished and get all the snuggles they deserve. If you’re looking for two sweet, gentle souls to fill your home with love, Leo and Binx are ready to meet you.

Story
Gentle and sweet Marmalade was rescued as a kitten, pregnant already at 6 months old due to the neglect of her humans, a kind couple found her and brought her inside, and found that she was just a baby herself. She is spayed, vaccinated, tested negative for everything, microchipped, and she just wants to be loved. Marm would love a quieter home, maybe tween children or older, and one kitty pal instead of many. She is a bit shy, and she can let herself be bullied in crowds, she is so much a beautiful soul, we just want the best for her.

Story
Colin Feral is the rugged, no-nonsense barn cat you didn’t know you needed. With piercing yellow eyes, a weathered tabby coat, and a swagger that says “I own this place”, Colin is a seasoned mouser and the undisputed king of the hayloft. He’s fiercely independent, but will grace you with his presence if you come bearing tuna—or at least a little respect.Despite his feral roots, Colin has a mysterious charm that wins over even the most skeptical farmhands. You’ll rarely catch him indoors (unless it’s winter), but he patrols the property with quiet confidence, keeping pests in check and pretending he doesn’t secretly enjoy a good chin scratch now and then.Colin Feral: part guardian, part ghost, all attitude.<p>For current adoption fees, please see our website, www.metrodetroitanimals.org.
