Story
I took Bacon in after a friend had rescued him. I wasn't planning on getting a cat but her living arrangements changed in a way that made it impossible to keep a pet. I've had him 3 months and he's a great cat and super adorable. He's never used the bathroom anywhere but the litterbox and will use a scratch post if provided one. He's very good with other cats and could always use a friend. I'm not sure how he is with dogs as he's never lived with one. He likes all people and children as well. He's not a finicky eater and is fed on a schedule to make sure he's not over eating. I'm due to move for work in approximately 3 months and wish I could take him with me but it's not feasible and I don't have anyone to look after him for an undetermined amount of time so I think he's young enough to be incorporated into a new loving home with ease.

Story
Mango was found in a box abandoned in a park. We had never had a cat before so we were not sure what to expect but we knew we could not leave him there. We could not have imagined finding such a sweet boy. He is so loving and playful yet gentle. He loves both adults & kids and even played with our family dogs. He loves to give and receive kisses and snuggles. He is the complete opposite of what I thought a cat was. I’m so incredibly sad we cannot keep him. My son is allergic to cats. We kept him for the time being knowing it would be temporary, but with the seasons changing or whatever other factors may be contributing, my son’s allergies have become almost unbearable. We upped his meds and although it does help some, this is not a permanent solution. We are looking for a loving home. Someone to give him the undivided time and attention he needs and deserves. I forgot to add, he’s a big baby. He loves to cuddle and be held and pet.

Story
Paul is a 7 year old cat. I have had him since he was 10 weeks old. He is a sweet boy. He is a little shy when meeting new people and animals - but he warms up pretty quickly. He has been an indoor cat for as long as I have had him. I am looking for a home that will love and care for him well.

Story
Basil is a sweet and spirited tortie with a big personality! She adores snacks, playtime, and chasing her big sister around the house. Adventurous and full of energy, she loves to climb and explore every corner. Basil would be a perfect match for a young family with kids who can keep up with her playful spirit. At 8 months old, she’s bright-eyed, bushy-tailed, and ready to bring endless joy to her forever home!

Story
We adopted Lily from our local pet shelter in Prince William County Virginia when she was approximately 10 weeks old. We got Lily as a birthday gift for our daughter. Lily is now 11 years old and has been a GREAT cat. She loves to be indoors or outdoors. Lily can be somewhat of a lone wolf, but loves to be affectionate as well. Unfortunately, we're moving soon and need to find Lily a good home.

Story
On November 19, my 80 year old sister passed away. Since then I have been caring for her 3 legged cat Sasha. Unfortunately, my apartment complex does not allow pets. Unless the pet (cat)is designated as a support animal. Unless I am able to get that designation, I will need to surrender her. So far getting that designation has not been. I have one more possible chance on the 11th of December. If that is not successful, then my only other option is to put her down. And I do not want to do that! Sasha is a very sweet, 14 year old cat. When she was about 2 yrs old she escaped from my sisters home & was missing for about 3 weeks. When she returned home, my sister heard something whining under her back deck. It was Sasha. Unfortunately, Sasha’s right leg up to the hip was dangling from the hip socket. The vet said amputation and treating for infections was the only option. Since her amputation in 2012, Sasha's left hip has become arthritic. My apartments don't allow non service animals.
