Story
Captain Henrietta Morgan was abandoned as a kitten. But she is growing into a brave adventurer! She was the first kitten we rescued from under our shed this summer after returning ashore. And she has taught every cat since how to love and be loved. Morgan loves lounging in a hammock while you work or watch a movie. And if you are reading a book, guess who will be there with you! The only thing she loves more than food is her sister Jackie, who she is always grooming, snuggling, and playing with. They are a bonded pair so you get double the sweetness for the same amount of work. We would love to keep her (and her sister Jackie), but our work on the water 6 months of the year would impossible for her.

Story
Gemma is a five year old cat with lots of love to give, but she unfortunately has a lot of anxiety that leads to behavioral issues. She is great with adults that she has gotten to know, but it does take her a long time to become familiar with others. She becomes stressed out with other cats and children, and that stress usually leads to fights and swiping. Gemma needs a home with no children and no other cats (she is good with dogs!), and someone who is very patient and experienced with cats. She really is such a loving cat once she knows someone, but she needs a lot of time to get there. We love her so much, but our home has become a very stressful environment for her due to other cats and a newly mobile baby. Despite our efforts to separate her, we are unable to provide a stress free home for her while also keeping our baby safe because we recently had to move into a smaller place. We would really like her to find a home where she can be comfortable and relaxed all the time.

Story
We found Calico Jackie abandoned as a baby kitten this summer. She is shy, but playful and affectionate. When she shows you her speckled belly, you know it is the beginning of a loving friendship. Her meow sounds like a creaky door that can only be oiled with food in her belly. She loves playing with toys, sleeping in a comfy cat bed, and snuggling while listening to peaceful music. But the thing she loves the most is her sister Morgan. They are always together, entertaining each other and tempting you to take pictures of their adorable cuddle sessions. They are a bonded pair, so you get double the cuteness with half the work!

Story
I have had Stoney his entire life since 2016 and have loved every minute of it. Unfortunately, when we moved, we were no longer able to let him outside like he loves to do. We think this has started to cause some behavioral issues. He has begun scratching the kids which is something he’s never done before but has become a bigger issue. He has also started scratching around the house and it’s clear that he is unhappy. He thrives when being an indoor/outdoor cat and we just can’t do that where we live. Other than the new behavioral issues, he is a loving, energetic cat who I am going to miss emensely.

Story
I’ve had Boots for most of his life, nearly 6 years. I adopted him from a shelter when he was 9 months old after he “lost a fight with a bird” resulting in him losing an eye. He is very loyal, friendly and curious. I love him to death but unfortunately cannot continue to support his needs. I tell people that he has IBS because without his prescription diet he tends to throw up or have diarrhea. His adoption will come with at least one unopened bag of food + his prescription. He does have arthritis in his spine with the occasional flair up impacting his mobility. Additionally, I’ve struggled on and off with him marking/urinating outside of the litter box over several years that might be resolved in an only cat household. I have LOTS of medical records to handover. The adoption fee is strictly to ensure he goes to a good home and is negotiable.

Story
Mae is a gentle, loving cat—1 year and 9 months old—originally adopted from SPCA Raleigh. She’s very shy at first and may need a few days to feel comfortable in a new home, but once she settles, she becomes a true sweetheart. Mae is quiet, calm, and doesn’t make noise or jump around. We are heartbroken to rehome her, but we recently discovered that my husband is allergic to cats. We hope she finds a patient, loving family who will give her the comfort and safety she deserves.

Story
I’m a bold, curious adventurer with a big personality! I love exploring every corner, chasing lasers, watching TV, and might even sometimes try to “help” you with your chores. I love fun—wrestling with siblings, hoarding toy mice, and zooming around. Sometimes I get carried away and may swat or nip gently, but never hard. I can be shy at first, but once I warm up, I’m all yours! When playtime’s over, I’m a big cuddle bug with a loud, happy purr. I do well playing on my own, but I’d do best with a young, playful friend for company. A home with dogs or older kids would be OK too! Looking for a feisty, playful, and affectionate companion who will keep you smiling and snuggling? I’m the one for you! Est. DOB: April 8, 2025 Fully vetted: treated for fleas, ear mites, and intestinal parasites, tested for FeLV/FIV (negative unless otherwise noted), spayed/neutered, up to date on all vaccinations (including FVRCP+FeLV [initial vaccination and booster] and rabies), and microchipped with shelter paid registration.

Story
I’m an adorable tabbico with the sweetest face and a gentle heart. I might be a little shy at first but overall am an outgoing and fairly confident kitty! I’m not big on being held, but I adore a cozy lap and pets. I might even greet you at the door, seeking out attention! Playtime is my favorite—I’m always front and center for tunnels, spring toys, wand toys, and laser lights (especially those last two!). I love playing with my siblings and would really like a kitty friend to keep me company in my new home. With my gentle nature, I’d also likely do just fine in a home with older kids. If you’re looking for a sweet, playful companion, I’m your girl! Est. DOB: August 13, 2025 Fully vetted: treated for fleas, ear mites, and intestinal parasites, tested for FeLV/FIV (negative unless otherwise noted), spayed/neutered, up to date on all vaccinations (including FVRCP+FeLV [initial vaccination and booster] and rabies), and microchipped with shelter paid registration.
