Story
Kiko is a very gentle and affectionate cat. You will usually find her purring and curled up next to you. She has been with the same family since she was just 3 months old however due to changes in the family's lifestyle, Kiko is looking for a new home. Kiko does not do well with other cats or dogs. Kiko would do best in a quiet home.

Story
🐾 Meet Dove 🐾 Born in January 2024, Dove is a young mama who raised a beautiful litter of kittens you've probably seen all over our social media! She’s been an incredible, attentive mom — and now it’s her turn to be pampered. 💕 Dove is a gentle soul with silky-soft fur, the sweetest eyes, and a quiet charm. She may take a little time to warm up, but once she trusts you, she’ll ask for pets and roll over for the cutest belly rubs. 🥹💗 She enjoys a calm, peaceful vibe — sudden moves and loud noises still startle her — but she loves attention, especially in her foster home where everyone adores her. Dove has a playful side too! She gets the zoomies, loves her scratching post, and enjoys a good feather toy chase with gentle kiddos. 🐱 Gets along with other cats 🐶 Would be okay with a calm dog 👧 Loves respectful, quiet children 🏡 Looking for a calm, loving forever home If you're patient, gentle, and ready to shower her with love, Dove just might be your new best friend. 💫

Story
Presenting Jade and Spring! DOB July 15/23 These sisters are lovely! Full of sillyness on occasion, they are mostly sweet, quiet and very well behaved. Jade is the tortie girl and her sister Spring is a boldly marked tabby...Yes! They did actually come from the same mama! Both cats are calm and non demanding. They don't ask for affection, but are happy when you offer a good scritch or gentle petting. They are good with other cats and with gentle dogs. They have not been around children but would be fine with older kids. They are not the kind of kitties that you are going to pick up and carry around, but if you are working from home, they will stay in the office with you and keep you company. I would prefer that they be adopted together but would consider separating them if you have another gentle cat in the home already Apply online at compassionforpaws.ca

Story
DOB: July 20, 2021 (approx) Please note, this is a posting through the Courtesy Adoption Program. Please contact the current owner directly for more details. Their details are below. Dandelion is a loving, cuddly, four-year-old kitty. He’ll take some time to show it, but once he does, he is the sweetest, most affectionate dude. He’s a healthy, strong, big cat who the vet says is a healthy weight for his size. He’s a quiet and gentle guy who does not hiss or scratch. He likes humans and, once he gets to know you, he will want a regular schedule for loving and cuddling. He will often just want to hang out with you, and he will tell you when it’s time to join him on the bed or couch to hang out for belly rubs. He isn’t a big talker, but when it is time for cuddling, he will let you know. Dandelion is sweet, curious, and affectionate. He loves drinking water from a slowly running tap in a sink or the tub, playing with rolled up bits of paper, and stretching across your desk in front of you while you work. He is a big fan of a blanket stretched over a couch so that he can sleep underneath in a mini-tent. He is not a fan of sudden, loud noises, so may race from the room when a loud car passes, but he seems to be adjusting to that over time. By race, we mean fast-walk. He really only runs when he thinks he may be about to miss out on couch time or a bed cuddle. His one idiosyncrasy is that he likes ear plugs, ideally used ones, to savour and nibble on over a day. If you sleep with ear plugs, you’ll need to make sure they’re stored securely in a drawer or thrown away somewhere he can’t access. Otherwise, we think the guy is perfect! He has no medical issues. His vaccines are current, and he’s neutered and microchipped. We adopted Dandelion from Toronto Cat Rescue in 2021. However, one of us became allergic to cats two years ago and, despite best efforts to control symptoms, we have decided it is best to part ways. Dandelion has lived with his sister until recently, so we think he’d be OK with another cat. He would also be great as a solo pet. We don’t know how he would respond to children or dogs. Dandelion is a wonderful cat who means a lot to us, and we want to find him the right place. He will need time to adjust to his new home and his new people - our guess is about four to five months - but once he does, he will be a loving, dependable, life-long companion. Please reach out. We’d be happy to answer any questions and then arrange a visit for you to meet him. We live in midtown Toronto and can be available most of the weekend and some weekday evenings. Dandelion is participating in our Courtesy Adoption Posting Program and is not the property of Toronto Cat Rescue. Toronto Cat Rescue does not accept responsibility for any pet placements that result from this service. Story
Hi, my name is Sparkles, Female - spayedDomestic Short HairApprox. 9 years oldI am on the lookout for my forever home. I was surrendered into care a while back, and at first, I must admit, I was quite shy and nervous. I also had some medical needs that needed addressing upon my arrival. But worry not! Those needs have been taken care of, and now I'm feeling like a brand-new woman, ready to embark on the next chapter of my life.To help me adjust to life outside the shelter and aid in my recovery, I was placed in a loving foster home. This has been a wonderful experience for me, allowing me to settle in and relax. I'm a simple lady at heart, with a love for snuggles and snoozing my days away, especially as I embrace my golden years.Don't let my laid-back demeanor fool you, though! I have a playful side and adore being a snuggle bug. I'm always ready for some affectionate playtime whenever you are.I get along well with other cats and truly enjoy their company. However, if it's just you and me, I'm perfectly content with that too. I promise to be a loyal companion, bringing warmth and joy to your home. Story
Hello there! I'm Duke, Male - neuteredDomestic Short HairApprox. 1 year oldI'm one half of a bonded pair of brothers looking for our forever home. My brother Shallah and I found ourselves in a shelter after being surrendered, and it was a bit overwhelming for us. Thankfully, we were placed in a loving foster home, which helped us feel safe and secure.I must admit, I'm a bit nervous at first, but once I get comfortable, you'll find I have a gentle and loving nature. I enjoy the simple things in life, like lounging in a comfy cat house or scratching a cat post. Once I'm content, you might hear a soft purring or a friendly chirp from me, especially when I'm communicating with Shallah. My brother and I are inseparable; we literally look to each other for guidance. During stressful times, we find comfort in being physically close. We're hoping to find a relaxing environment where we can stay together and flourish. If you already have a friendly feline, that's great too-making us a trio would be purr-fect! Primary Color: Brown Tabby Secondary Color: White Weight: 5.012 Age: 1yrs 2mths 0wks

Hi, I'm Shallah, Male - neuteredDomestic Short HairApprox. 2 years, 2 months oldLike my brother Duke mentioned, we're on the lookout for a forever home together. We were surrendered to a shelter where everything felt new and scary, but thankfully, we were whisked away to a caring foster home where we could relax and be ourselves.Just like Duke, I might be a bit shy at first, but with a little patience, you'll see my playful side. I love the simple joys like curling up in a cozy cat house or sinking my claws into a scratching post. When I'm at ease, you'll often hear me purring or chirping softly to Duke, and rest assured, it's all in good spirits.Duke and I are truly bonded; we find strength and comfort in each other. In any moment of stress, you'll see us running to be together. We're seeking a calm and loving environment to thrive in, and we don't mind extending our family to include another friendly feline.
