Star is a loving, easy-going young cat, estimated to be a little over one year old. I took her in as a stray during an emergency, so her exact age and history are unknown. She is affectionate on her own terms: she enjoys chin scratches, sometimes becomes very cuddly and loves sleeping beside her person. She tolerates being picked up but prefers not to be held for long or cradled. She also appreciates quiet time and will let you know when she wants space. Star has a sensitive stomach and previously ate GO! Solutions food. She has occasionally coughed or wheezed with her tongue slightly out, and she has recently urinated outside her litter boxes. These concerns have not yet been diagnosed and require veterinary assessment. A consistently clean litter box is especially important for her. Star may also be slightly overweight. She needs a patient, attentive home prepared to arrange veterinary care and give her affection while respecting her boundaries.

Presenting - Silver! Beautiful Silver came to us as nursing mama. Found homeless with her babies, she moved in when they were only a few days old. Now that her babies are grown and adopted, she is looking for a warm safe place to lay her paws too. Silver will need a very special adopter who will give her the time and space she needs to blossom She has NEVER shown any signs of aggression or protectiveness, even when her babies were small. She is still learning to trust and will come up to her foster for head scratches once in awhile. But she is hyper aware of sounds and afraid of anything new. You can't run over and pick her up - but she will come to you if she trusts you and shes in the right mood. She needs someone who has patience and time to spend with her. Her ideal home would be a quiet and calm place with one or two humans who are home a lot of the time. Presenting Jade and Spring! DOB July 15/23 These sisters are lovely! Full of sillyness on occasion, they are mostly sweet, quiet and very well behaved. Jade is the tortie girl and her sister Spring is a boldly marked tabby...Yes! They did actually come from the same mama! Both cats are calm and non demanding. They don't ask for affection, but are happy when you offer a good scritch or gentle petting. They are good with other cats and with gentle dogs. They have not been around children but would be fine with older kids. They are not the kind of kitties that you are going to pick up and carry around, but if you are working from home, they will stay in the office with you and keep you company. Cassandra is a lovely grey tabby who was living outside in Northern Ontario with various other relatives, until one day she walked into someone's enclosed porch and made friends. After a long day of travel, she arrived at an AbbeyCats foster home incredibly scared. However, after a couple of days of decompression, Cassandra has opened up and showed us how much she likes to be inside with people's attention. Cassandra loves to lie on the window sill and watch the bug, birds, and plants. While she is still scared of other noises, she doesn't hide anymore when we walk into her room. She greets us with a meow and begins to purr, rubbing up on our legs and asking for pets. She also loves to be brushed! Cassandra would likely do best in a quiet and calm home with adults and perhaps older teens who will give her the time to feel safe and secure.
