Story
I found my Toby and Blu out in the street 3 & 4 years ago when they were just little babies. Its unfortunate we have to find a new home for them so quickly but given the circumstances we have no choice and we just want them to go to another loving home. Blu is such a loving big boy who loves to cuddle and purr every chance he gets with you. He loves his brother Toby who is his older brother they love to play together and sleep together. We hope to hear from a loving family soon.

Story
Reagan is an extremely friendly and cuddly cat. He has lots of energy. We got him 6 years ago from Cats Bridge. He will be 7 in August. He gets along with other cats. We have an another cat that we need rehomed as well. He wants to be petted and purrs like a motor boat. We recently moved and there is a dog in the house. He has been mainly living on the bedroom floor and just started venturing downstairs to the living room. But the dog is not very happy about it. This has been a very difficult decision for us and my daughter. Who can not take him where she is. We are looking for a home that can give him the attention and love her deserves.

Story
Bette is a shy girl with people. She needs a family willing to work with her to gain her trust. She is sweet as pie, and very food motivated. She would make an exceptional companion to another cat. She loves her foster siblings and is often found snuggled up or playing with one of them. She is fine with dogs and has no issue telling them to "back off" when they get in her space. If interested in Bette, please fill out an adoption application at www.pldpaws.org, email with questions pldpaws@gmail.com.

Story
Carleton has one of those soulful feline faces that makes him look almost human—kind of like a person in a cat suit! This special guy was born in March of 2018 and is a calm, gentle cat who really likes being close to his people, but not right in their laps. He has long, lanky legs that mean he will do best with a large, high-sided litter box to keep things tidy, but he does have very good manners in that department. He was found in August 2023 in very poor condition, at the edge of starvation, and he has recovered beautifully with lots of TLC and expert vet care. Carleton is up to date on shots, neutered, and microchipped. He would enjoy a quieter home, though he would not mind school-age children. He does enjoy playing with a good wand toy! He is currently living with other cats but doesn't prefer to engage with them. Carleton may be able to live contentedly with another quiet cat like himself. Due to his recent past, he is currently on sensitive stomach dry food for digestion. Special food may not be required forever, but for now it helps him to live his best life. He also adores all types of wet food. Take a good, long look at that face, and then apply to bring this sweet boy into your home and your life today! Story
I’m Caesar, and I'm looking for someone to spend the better half of my life with. I was found abandoned in a sealed basement in Philly with my brother, who passed away shortly after due to infection from the living conditions, but after some love from my foster parents, I'm ready for my forever family! My foster noticed that my face is paralyzed and I've been thoroughly checked out. The good news is, it is stable and does not limit me at all, no need for meds or eye drops! Even better- it gives me a very charming smirk...bad news is I can get the occasional ear infection since I forget to clean the ear I can't feel! I love people and while I'm still learning how to trust and interact with them, I’m SUPER cuddly and a little needy once I trust you. I can get a little too excited when getting attention, especially at first, but I promise I'm working on better manners and how to ask for more—I just love pets! I’m neutered, up to date on vaccines, and all ready to go home with you. My perfect home would be just adult humans; I have had a few feline roommates; I didn’t love all of them and would require slow, respectful introductions to other cats. If there are children in the home, I am best suited for older ones who will respect my signals. Story
Introducing the very lovely Kara. Her story is a sad one. Born in 2008, Kara had kittens who were adopted out, and Kara was spayed and adopted by a kind gentleman with several cats. Kara was well cared for, but one cat bullied her and made her timid. Her owner became ill and passed away in 2018. Kara was then adopted by another kind gentleman and friend of the rescue, who passed away very suddenly in June 2022. Kara is as sweet as sweet can be, but she needs some work and commitment from a special adopter to help rebuild her confidence. You need to seek her out, then she will thoroughly enjoy affection and will reward you with very loud purrs. Kara has been updated on all her vet care and is a very healthy senior kitty. She truly needs for her next home to be her last. A calm and loving home, ideally with no other pets (though she will adjust to kind ones), would complete Kara’s wish list. A senior human in need of a gentle companion would be just perfect. If Kara’s story stirs your heart, you just might be her person. Please apply today.   To learn more about Kara and other pets available for adoption, and to download an adoption application, please visit www.animalfriendsoflansdowne.org.
