My name is Scarlet and I am 12 years old. I was found as a kitten on the street in a neighborhood in Eastern NC. My first owner was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s so I came to live with her granddaughter in York SC. I have been declawed from someone who didn’t know it was not good for me. I am very friendly and love laying in your lap. I am very talkative also. I love people and dogs. I will sleep with you if you let me. My mom is moving to a community that I am not allowed to go to. She is very sad and is looking for someone to care for me as she did.

Poppy loves spending the day watching life happen outside the window. Libby is more for coming around for love. They could be adopted together or separately.

Story
We found Murky on the road outside of our neighborhood. We had assumed she was an outdoor cat because of how friendly she was, approaching us very calmly at night, even though we were complete strangers! However, she had a large amount of buildup in her eyes and ears, so we took her to an emergency vet that night. She was extremely polite the entire trip there. We found out at the vet that she wasn't chipped, and nobody in our neighborhood owned her. She ended up having a large polyp in her right ear that had to be excised. She is now a happy 4 year-old, indoor-only cat that absolutely loves to cuddle and is looking for a loving home! She is very quiet and likes to play, but doesn't require a full day's attention to remain occupied.
