Story
Hi! I'm Nancy, an 8-year-old gray cat with a wonderful temperament and spirit. I would like to be adopted with my sister Martha because we have been together since birth and I love her. I settle in for cozy pets and purrs and then snuggle with my sis. I'm healthy, up to date on shots, spayed/neutered, and have a shiny silver-gray coat. No major issues—just sweet, low-maintenance girl who thrives on daily a little play and gentle affection. If you want a calm companion for games and cuddles, I'm your match! Let's chat—I'm excited for my forever home.

Story
I have owned Boxi since she was about ten months old, about 14 years. Though she doesn’t like being held, she is cuddly and playful. She occasionally gets the zoomies, smart and sweet. She refused to go to bed when my sister-in-law with a chronic illness stayed with us, because she wanted to watch over her. She’s been a great, non-aggressive cat. Unfortunately, ever since we had our third child (who’s a toddler), she seems really unhappy, and has exhibited behavioral issues to express her frustrations. My husband and I both work and are busy with our family, and she has taken a backseat, necessarily, to our children’s needs. We both believe that she just needs a quieter house with an owner who has more time for her. While this is a season of life that, potentially, we could weather, we have also learned that my daughter is allergic to cats, which may be the cause of her skin issues. Ultimately, rehoming her seems like the kindest choice for all involved.

Story
This is one of the hardest posts I’ve ever had to make. I love Laurel very much and have truly tried to make this work, but after moving into an apartment she is not adjusting well. Laurel has been a mostly outdoor cat her entire life, and apartment living has been very stressful for her. She will not consistently use a litter box and is damaging the apartment. It’s clear she truly needs outdoor access to be happy and healthy. Laurel would do best in a home where she can safely be outside — such as a house with a yard, farm, barn, or a property where she can come and go. She has always stayed close to home and does not roam far. To help her transition, I will provide: ✔️ A heated outdoor cat house ✔️ A brand-new self-cleaning litter box ✔️ Any supplies she currently uses I am looking for a responsible, caring home that can provide her the outdoor space she needs. This decision was not made lightly, and my only goal is Laurel’s happiness and safety.

Story
I adopted Bash in May 2024 while I was in college. He has been an indoor cat and generally keeps to himself, but enjoys having a calm, stable environment. Due to changes in my current situation and responsibilities, I’m no longer able to give him the time and stability he deserves, so I’m looking for a loving, permanent home for him.

Very friendly and affectionate. He will not be declawed he won't have shots and won't be fixed. Cash, chime, cash app, venmo, or PayPal. Please message me for more pictures. Not sure how old Garfield is was told the person who had him before passed away and he has had his shots but not too sure about that. Garfield not sure because the person who threw him outside(not original owner) would abuse him so we took him in. Garfield ALWAYS wants attention. Please message me for more info, litter trained. I am allergic to unfixed males and we just went through a situation and dont have the funds to get him fixed. Please give him a home.

On occasion, inquiries are not forwarded automatically to our rescue by Adopt a Pet. If you would like to inquire about one of our kitties, please reach out directly to the rescue. Thank you. Little Cosmos and all of his siblings love people and they love to play. They're easy going and will assimilate easily with other kitties. They're also great with kids. They haven't quite figured out the pup in their foster home yet but with slow intros we know they can and will cohabitate with pups too. At this point any two would love to be adopted together, so if you have none at this time, look into the benefits of adopting in pairs. Cosmos has had age-appropriate vetting, is FeLV/FIV negative, microchipped and has been neutered. FREE wellness visit with adoption. Saving Southern Kitties has the most comprehensive vetting standards for adoption. Please visit our kitties at the Rivergate Petsmart in Charlotte and like and visit Saving Southern Kitties Facebook page for an up-to-date list of adoptable kitties. An application is required.

Story
On occasion, inquiries are not forwarded automatically to our rescue by Adopt a Pet. If you would like to inquire about one of our kitties, please reach out directly to the rescue. Thank you. These two darling little sisters were bottle babies and have only known each other. Ophelia is bolder and more confident with Opalite watching and following her lead. These little dolls are petite, and we expect they'll remain on the smaller side. Two pocket little tuxies. Two bonded little siblings are just the best! Do the research as to the benefits of two kittens versus one. Especially bonded pairs. These two cannot wait to find their forever family.
