Tabby kittens & cats in Katy, Texas

These two lovely gals are Sassafras and Lil' Miss. They are being fostered to prevent them winding up on the streets. The circumstances of how I ended up sharing my small apartment with them is quite the tale. Sassafras and Lil' Miss are so tightly bonded that it would break my heart to break them up. Sass is the older of the two, maybe 1.5years? Miss (~1y) is either her younger sister or daughter, we don't really know. Sass is mature, quiet, patient. Miss is adventurous, curious, and playful. They both love attention and chasing toys. Sass may be semi-mute too. She doesn't vocalize when she meows. So she may get your attention in other ways (tapping with paw, or jumping on your lap for scritches. They take very good care of each other, nap, play, groom, everything. If you are able to adopt both please reach out. It would make me so very happy to know they are going to a good home. The rehoming fee will be used to buy you a bag of food and litter as a stater package.

Kate is a very sweet, smart, clean and independent female cat, loves to go outside but only around the house, to keep her home free of pests. She’s very quiet and likes to keep to herself. I got her from the vet August 2021 when she was a little kitten, she was found by the receptionist. Now, my husband’s work will keep us traveling internationally, often, therefore we need to find her a home where she can live happily and safe.

Meow meow is very playful and aelf suffecient. He needs new owners who can love him like we do. He loves to be around people.

Mocha is a playful, cheerful, and vocal cat who brings a lot of personality wherever he goes. He’s adventurous, curious, and loves being around people, always ready to explore or chat with you throughout the day. Whether he’s following you around the house or finding a new spot to investigate, Mocha keeps life entertaining. He is currently on a specialized urinary tract diet from Purina to help support his health and routine. Unfortunately, due to family allergies, we are looking to rehome him to a loving and caring home where he can get the attention and affection he deserves. Mocha would do great with someone who enjoys an interactive and energetic companion. 🧡

Dickens is approximately 1.5 years old. I found her in January 2025 on a particularly cold weekend, she wandered out of a wooded area near my home and was extremely thin and though she was scared, she was hungry and thirsty, so she allowed me to get close to her. I took her to the vet and they tried to determine her age and guessed she was close to 5 months at that time. I had her vaccinated and spayed and thought I knew of a future home for her. She is a sweetheart. Though still scared of loud noises and thunderstorms, she warms up very quickly. She loves to play and is addicted to lizard videos on YouTube! Unfortunately I am moving and I have family members that are allergic to cats, so I am no longer able to her and due to changes in job location, her other prospective home is no longer available. I wish I could keep her- she is a wonderful companion and would love a situation where she could cuddle on laps, play with her toys and watch lizards! She is a 100% inside cat.

Outgoing Harvey showed up first outside of an industrial building where the employees started to gain his trust and feed him. Uber-friendly Harvey accepted their invitations for friendship after a short while, and soon started inviting himself inside the front door, so they decided it was probably time to look for a new home for him. After he then also brought his new girlfriend Necia to join him, everyone started worrying that there would be kittens if they didn’t do something to prevent it soon. Harvey was very protective of Necia, so they didn’t get chance to get close enough to her to see if she was also tame. Once the 2 cats started getting too bold and trying to come indoors to the office, the employee contacted GNAR to help find a home for them. So they borrowed traps, and brought them to their new foster home. Harvey continued to guard Necia, so the foster home separated them to let Necia show her true personality. Harvey also sweetened up more after he was relieved of his perceived responsibility as Necia's protector and provider. Mira is an indoor/outdoor cat. She is 7 months old and she loves to be held. I took Mira in 2 weeks ago but I am unable to keep her due to my work/school schedule I am unable to make time for her that I need. She’s so sweet and friendly, she loves to play and nap. I would love to ensure that she goes to a good home.
