After he then also brought his new girlfriend Necia to join him, everyone started worrying that there would be kittens if they didn’t do something to prevent it soon. Harvey was very protective of Necia, so they didn’t get chance to get close enough to her to see if she was also tame. Once the 2 cats started getting too bold and trying to come indoors to the office, the employee contacted GNAR to help find a home for them. So they borrowed traps, and brought them to their new foster home. Harvey continued to guard Necia, so the foster home separated them to let Necia show her true personality. Harvey also sweetened up more after he was relieved of his perceived responsibility as Necia's protector and provider. Hello, I found little Stella outside a David Busters parking lot and immediately had to rescue her because of the many cars and people who wouldn’t pay her no mind. I took notice of no mother in site or around the area and no other kittens so I assumed this baby was abandoned because she is not feral towards people or animals. But sadly I cannot keep her because I live with my Mom and we already have two cats and she does not want another. If I had it my way I would keep her she is such a lovely and sweet calm girl. She deserves a real home with a family who will love her just as much as I already do. Please consider adopting Stella she needs a loving home. Thank you for reading our story.

Hi, I’m Sassy. I’m 3 ½ y/o. I am VERY affectionate and loving. When my mommy was home, I got all the attention I craved. She pet me and brushed me every day. But mommy went back to work. Now, she only feeds me and scoops my litter every day. I keep trying to get her attention! I lick her toes and meow when she walks by, or wind myself around her legs. But she’s gone so much! So, I started going to the bathroom under the couch. I was just wanting affection. Daddy found it and got upset. He told mommy that he was tired of me. I’m hoping to find a home with someone who loves AFFECTION. I love to be petted and brushed and will curl up in your lap. PLEASE come see me. Mommy said I would have my own food, both wet & dry, and my own litter box and litter. I also have an Invisible Fence collar to keep me safe. Our move back to Houston led to a roommate with a cat to which he fell in love. Things changed eventually and now we no longer have that roommate or cat. Ever since I can't find anything to make up for her absence except adopting another baby. I contemplated for months hoping I could afford it however I am unable to care for two cats without giving them the best every animal deserves. All i ask is that you have a roommate or another fur baby who can keep up with his excitement. He's so sweet and cuddly and loves to play fight. His favorite toy is my hair ties. Give him a chance to feel comfortable and he'll follow you everywhere. Oh, he doesn't like a harness or car rides....

I’ve had my baby for four years and unfortunately this is going to be the most difficult thing to do. Currently with my job, I travel very frequently and this has caused him to develop separation anxiety. I’ve taken him to a specialist and we have him on probiotic calming care to help with the anxiety, but I know that my situation is not changing anytime soon and it is not helping with me being gone so frequently. The past year, we have tried to work on this and get on a schedule, but are still there are times where he will get extremely aggressive with me and now even with the pet boarding it has become more more difficult. I’m hoping with a more stable home, he will be able to be happier

About 2 1/2 years old Skittish around dogs & new people, takes time (and food bribes) to warm up Doesn’t fight directly with other cats, but keeps to himself Has never been around kids, but still has kitten energy and loves to play so would probably enjoy it after getting over being shy We found him outside as a kitten and couldn’t bear to leave him. There have been problems with keeping him and our other cats together and happy since then. He doesn’t fight, but isn’t comfortable being active at the same time they are, unless it’s early morning and there's food involved. He can be messy around the litterbox and pees in front of it sometimes, which I believe is a territorial issue since he doesn’t do it when the litterbox is freshly clean & unused. Our other cats are clean freaks and the messes cause fights He loves bouncy balls and pistachio shells, and playing rough. Once he likes you he gets clingy. I love him and wish we could keep him but it's getting to be too much for us all.

Family member who was staying with us to get off her feet ended up abandoning her pets with us.

He gets along with everybody! Our older cat has never warmed up to him. She is very angry at him all the time and it stresses the poor guy out. We adopted Pumpkin from a shelter. He is about a year old. We have had him for about 6 months. He is super sweet and loving and gets along well with our kids. He has the loudest purr you have ever heard! We would love for him to have a loving stress-free home.
