Story
Meet Rocket! Rocket came to us as a kitten. Since having him, he has gotten neutered and is up to date on his rabies shots. He loves to play. He is a huge needy cat and LOVES attention. He has never been around dogs. He has been around other cats but hasn’t really gotten a long with them. Rocket hasn’t been around kids too much but when he has, he’s done great. He would be perfect for someone who has a lot of time for him. He is liter trained. He will eat dry food but also loves wet food here and there!

Story
Tabitha is a beautiful young and very energetic girl with a cute pink spot on the tip of her nose. She is very gentile with people and craves attention. She enjoys having lots of pets and happily lets you rub her tummy and play with her paws. She will “coo” when she is curious and will let you know when she wants attention, which is often. Tabitha loves to play with cat toys and will chase a laser for hours. She had a minor eye injury when she was young but can see fine and just needs it to be wiped with warm water from time to time. She was born in March 2024. She has been spayed & is up to date on her vaccinations. This animal is being fostered in the South but transport to a location near you is included in your adoption fee. We use Rescue Riders Pet Transport, (www.rescueridersllc.net), the most animal-friendly transport on the road.

Story
Church is a lovely affectionate cat around 2.5 years old. He's fully vaccinated, neutered, and trained. He's usually more of a house ornament who just likes sitting around or cuddling. It loves his face being rubbed and being stretched. If you have any questions about him please ask :)

Story
We bought this grey kitty at a pet store that was having an “adopt a pet” day! While actually a grey tabby cat, his coloring reminded us of a Russian blue, so we named him Oskar Blues. As a kitten and a young cat, he was extremely playful and friendly towards all. To this day, he still always wants to be where all of us are. As more kids are around, he is more persnickety about who approaches him, but he is your typical “scaredy-cat” and will run and hide once he proves himself (by way of bopping with a flawless paw ;). 🐾 Oskar is about to turn 8 years old. He enjoys sleeping on beds, stretching in the sunshine, and sitting directly on top of whatever book you are reading. I think he would thrive in a home where someone was home often to enjoy him, and a home without tiny children running around disturbing his peace and quiet; He is without front claws, but has his back claws. He has always been exclusively an inside cat.

Story
Stripes is in the house! I am about 4 years old. I love my friend Patches! It has been Patches and Stripes for as long as I can remember. It would be great if we could be adopted together. However, since we have been looking for a forever home for a long time now (more than 2 years!), Patches and I have made the tough decision that we can be adopted to separate homes. We are hoping that this, plus our adoption fees being waived thanks to generous sponsors, will increase our chances of success. I am looking for that unique adopter who will love me and take care of me but will not expect a snuggly kitty in return. I am a pseudo scaredy cat. While I still have an instinct to hide when a person walks in the room, now I stop myself and do some stretching. It is very important to stretch before exercising. Also, I am bribable. So, when you want a little attention from me, I will take Churo from your fingers! I would prefer a home with another cat. While another cat in my home can only make life better, and help me come out of my shell, children and dogs are a big ICK. Seriously, cats rule! If you think that you could be that special someone for me, please learn more about me by filling out a no obligation cat adoption application. All of our cats are in foster homes. Please submit an application to start the process today! https://humaneloudoun.org/adopt/cat-adoption-application/

Story
Bagheera named after the Disney character is a regal and quiet soul with a heart full of potential. This handsome boy may be a little shy at first, but once he’s comfortable, he’ll shower you with love and loyalty like only a true king can. Bagheera thrives in calm environments and would do best in a peaceful home where he can take his time to settle in and build trust with his human companion. His gentle nature is matched only by his soft, constant purr, which he shares while nudging you with affectionate head bumps. Though only six years old, Bagheera carries the wisdom of an old soul, and with a bit of patience, he’ll reward you with a deep bond. If you're looking for a quiet, loving companion who appreciates the quieter moments in life, Bagheera might just be the regal feline friend you've been waiting for.
