Story
I took in Billie during the coldest part of the winter since she'd been coming to my house for a few months. I took her to the vet recently and they estimate she's about 14 months old and very healthy. She's now up to date on all of her shots. I'm unable to keep her because I have cats of my own and one that is elderly and struggles with asthma, so I need to keep her environment calm. Billie is so affectionate and loves curling up in a lap. She's young. playful and curious. I know she'd make someone a wonderful pet and am anxious for her to have that opportunity.

Story
Meet Oakley, a handsome and spirited companion who is looking for his 'forever' quiet space. Oakley is a loyal friend who thrives in a predictable environment. He loves to nap on our couch in front of a window so he can watch the birds and squirrels. Because he has a very strong 'protector' instinct and a high prey drive, he is easily overstimulated by the fast movements and high energy of children. He has shown us that he is much happier and more relaxed in a home without little ones or frequent 'unknown' visitors. He would be the perfect match for a single professional or a quiet couple who understands cat body language and respects a cat's need for personal space. We love him dearly and want him to be the 'King of the Castle' in a home where he feels safe and secure. If you have a peaceful home and a heart for cats with big personalities, Oakley might be your perfect match.

Story
Stripes is in the house! I am about 4 years old. I love my friend Patches! It has been Patches and Stripes for as long as I can remember. It would be great if we could be adopted together. However, since we have been looking for a forever home for a long time now (more than 2 years!), Patches and I have made the tough decision that we can be adopted to separate homes. We are hoping that this, plus our adoption fees being waived thanks to generous sponsors, will increase our chances of success. I am looking for that unique adopter who will love me and take care of me but will not expect a snuggly kitty in return. I am a pseudo scaredy cat. While I still have an instinct to hide when a person walks in the room, now I stop myself and do some stretching. It is very important to stretch before exercising. Also, I am bribable. So, when you want a little attention from me, I will take Churo from your fingers! I would prefer a home with another cat. While another cat in my home can only make life better, and help me come out of my shell, children and dogs are a big ICK. Seriously, cats rule! If you think that you could be that special someone for me, please learn more about me by filling out a no obligation cat adoption application. All of our cats are in foster homes. Please submit an application to start the process today! https://humaneloudoun.org/adopt/cat-adoption-application/

Story
Meet Vincent — a handsome two-year-old brown tabby with a sleek short coat and an easygoing charm. While he may not have Jimmie’s fluff, Vincent more than makes up for it with his expressive eyes and warm, affectionate personality. Vincent shares a close bond with his best friend Jimmie, and the two have come a long way together. Once cared for outdoors by a kind family, they were given the chance at a better life—and Vincent has embraced indoor living like a pro. He’s comfortable, curious, and clearly enjoying all the perks of home life. Vincent can be a little reserved when meeting new people, but he warms up quickly and loves being part of the action once he feels secure. He’s great with other cats and does well with respectful, mindful children, making him a wonderful addition to a calm, loving home. You may notice Vincent’s unique ear—he has a small ear tip from an old injury, which just adds to his character and tells part of his story. It doesn’t bother him one bit and only makes him more unforgettable. Whether he’s lounging nearby or keeping you company throughout the day, Vincent is a loyal, gentle companion ready to find his forever home—ideally with his best buddy Jimmie by his side. Story
Hi! I’m looking to rehome my beautiful tabby cat, Lily, a 4 year old female domestic shorthair in excellent health. She’s a loving girl and is very sweet, definitely an affectionate little cuddlebug. She loves to roll over for you and has a soft, gentle meow. She likes to be petted but will let you know when shes had enough. She's good with other cats, she'll play with them and can hold her own as well. She's also pretty good with being held and enjoys sitting in your lap. Very good litter box habits, I've never had a problem. Only rehoming due to the fact that my sister is allergic and can't keep her anymore.
