Story
For The Cats' Sake This beautiful sweetheart has been with us for the majority of her 6 years. That long?!?! Seriously. How is this striking lady still waiting for her people/person??? She was originally very shy but has become quite friendly when approached calmly. When you come to her, she really enjoys getting head rubs and being pet but she doesn’t often seek out attention. She enjoys the indoors but also loves soaking up fresh air on the catio. Come meet this friendly introvert at her Flint Hill foster home and see if this green-eyed beauty is the one for you. ADOPT “MISTY BLU”: https://jotform.com/81848821130152   We do not have a fixed adoption fee at For The Cats’ Sake, but instead ask for a tax-deductible donation to our group. On average, we spend at least $125 to cover foster care, testing for FeLV and FIV, vaccinations, flea treatment, deworming and any vet care/medicine that is needed. We ask that you cover as much of the $125 as you can afford, and set a minimum donation at $50. Our goal is to find the best home for each animal, and we feel this policy makes it possible for more people to adopt one or more cats. It is important to us that every adopter can afford to care for their pets properly and give them a home for life.   TNR and a whole lot more... April 28, 2024, 4:36 pm

Story
For The Cats' Sake Meet SAPPHIRE!  Sapphire is a gorgeous and playful young lady that would make an excellent mouser.  She loves playing with other cats and with people but does not enjoy being pet or handled.  She came to us as a TNR kitten (trap, neuter, and return) but was just too pretty to return .  Sapphire would like some outdoor time as she loves spending time on the catio.   Won’t you come meet this slender beauty in her Flint Hill foster home?   ADOPT “SAPPHIRE” NOW:    https://jotform.com/81848821130152 We do not have a fixed adoption fee at For The Cats' Sake, but instead ask for a tax-deductible donation to our group. On average, we spend at least $125 to cover foster care, testing for FeLV and FIV, vaccinations, flea treatment, deworming and any vet care/medicine that is needed. Story
For The Cats' Sake Meet ATHENA!  Athena is a gorgeous and playful young lady (1-year-old) that would make an excellent mouser.  She loves playing with other cats and with people but does not enjoy being pet or handled.  She was found with her family living under a shed in Front Royal with her family.  Due to the challenges and dangers she faced from her outdoor life, she unfortunately acquired Feline Immunodefficiency Virus (FIV). Even though she is FIV+, she is still healthy and would love nothing more than to find a caring forever home. Athena would like some outdoor time as she loves spending time on the catio.   Won’t you come meet this slender beauty in her Flint Hill foster home?  For more information on owning a FIV+ cat, check out this website as a resource: https://www.marvistavet.com/owning-a-feline-immunodeficiency-virus-positive-fiv-cat.pml?fbclid=IwAR0ZofNLyIxTncvB8gPeBm0oyGqJdtkfUo0ze1EFMIIy7uWy6E8-Go4V_3Y ADOPT “ATHENA” NOW:    https://jotform.com/81848821130152     We do not have a fixed adoption fee at For The Cats' Sake, but instead ask for a tax-deductible donation to our group. On average, we spend at least $125 to cover foster care, testing for FeLV and FIV, vaccinations, flea treatment, deworming and any vet care/medicine that is needed. Story
For The Cats' Sake NIBBLER is a happy and friendly prankster who is always seeing which human he can get to rub his belly, rub his back, or for him to nibble on. He loves us humans so much he could just eat us up! Being one of the last cats we rescued from a residential colony whose caregiver passed away, NIBBLER would come running when our cars pulled up to feed him. He weathered life in rough circumstances with little shelter or food, so he truly appreciates his new life. He is friendly to the other cats and happy to be inside, or inside/outside cat. No barns though for this guy, he's done his outside only time!
