Story
Adopted from a local shelter after being born about 3 years ago. Ellie is a polydactyl cat who loves to play and be adventurous. She visits the vet yearly and is up to date on all shots. We would love to keep her but our place is too small with our growing family.

Story
Prince loves playing with toys that he can throw around that have catnip in them as well as a laser pointer and any kind of string toy. He also loves to be high up in cat trees or wall mounts. He loves attention, mainly face scratches, loves to cuddle. He loves treats and wet cat food. He has no special diet. Prince would thrive in a home where he is the only cat/animal. He does not get a long with other male cats and it would take him a while to get use to a female. He would just be too stressed around other cats. He has not been around kids or dogs so that is unknown. He has been an inside and outdoor cat. Prince is neutered and his last vaccines were done after he was 1. He is not microchipped.

Story
Lucielle is a playful, sweet girl with a fun personality and lots of love to give. She loves playing, being around her people, and showing affection — sometimes with her adorable little “love bites” (her way of saying she cares 😄). She also has a sister, Stella, who is also listed on Adopt-a-Pet. They’re very bonded and would truly love to stay together if possible — they bring out the best in each other and make an amazing duo. If you’re looking for a sweet, playful companion (or even better, a perfect pair!), Lucielle and Stella would love to find their forever home together 💕

Story
Meet Stella 🐾💛 Stella is the sweetest cuddle bug you’ll ever meet. She absolutely loves snuggling up with her people, soaking up attention, and just being near you. She has a gentle, loving personality and brings such a calm, happy vibe wherever she goes. She also enjoys spending time outside (safely supervised or in a secure space) — she loves fresh air and a little exploring before coming back in for cuddles. This is honestly so hard for me — I’m moving and can’t take her with me, and if I could keep her I absolutely would. She deserves a loving home where she’ll get all the affection she gives.

Story
Pickle is incredibly friendly, she loves snuggles and pets, she is pretty vocal especially when she wants attention. And loves to climb and explore, she also loves to watch over you while you’re doing anything. She does really well with other cats, however with dogs but is pretty wary and doesn’t like being near them. She is picky with her litter if it’s to low or not clean enough to her standards she won’t use it. She is a lovely cat and I love her to bits.

Story
HEARTWARMING RESCUE STORY DOB 8/26/22 Hey there, everyone! I'm Lollis, a delightful, playful “torbie” gal which means that I'm a brown tabby with patches of peach that makes me look like I was splashed with caramel in a candy factory. Although my independent, freedom-loving spirit has proven helpful in dealing “as needed” with the dogs, other cats, and kids in my foster home, my innate friskiness has made me a perfect companion for those same kids. I’ve been very bonded to Foster Meowmy ever since she spotted me at her jobsite as a seven-month-old stray kitten who had no momma or siblings in sight. Realizing that Foster Meowmy was my ticket to a life that was better than dumpster diving, I wasted no time and ran up to her. She scooped me up and drove home with me cuddled in her lap. Yes, our special connection began on that unforgettable journey. To this day, in those cherished moments when I need a little snuggle, it’s Foster Meowmy to whom I turn when I seek cuddling. Once in my foster home, I was overjoyed to kiss the hardscrabble life good-bye! Boy howdy! Brimming food and water bowls, climate control, and safety from predators all spelled security and happiness to me. Plus the resident cats could teach me the manners that momma would’ve taught me if she’d been around. I hope that my heartwarming rescue story has touched your heart. Yes, I chose Foster Meowmy, and now it's time for you to choose me to be your next feline companion. I want to become an integral part of your life and make every day an adventure worth sharing. Arrange to meet me today, and let's form a bond that's unbreakable! Incidentally, there are advantages to adopting a gal like me who’s past the stage of kitten mayhem. I’m much less likely to cause chaos in your home or break any of your family heirlooms. HOPE ID 23-1014-A047 Lollis is currently in the Houston, Texas area but can be transported to this location upon adoption. The $325 adoption fee includes transport, health certificate, spay/neuter, basic vaccines, microchip and registration, testing for FIV/FeLV, negative fecal test, and preventative treatment against fleas and parasites. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out the on-line application. Yes you must COPY and PASTE the application link. http://shaynesrescue.com/adoption-application-pet-central-satx/ (It may refer to "dogs" because that is our primary rescue, but we are fine with using it for cats.) MUNCHKIN…is a true character. If you’re looking for a kitten with personality…she is IT!!! Her DOB is 6/17/25…and she has always been small for her age. She is only 5# and yet she is 7mos old. Besides that, she is fun, happy, playful, DEMANDS attention, no fear of anything. Look at all her pictures…see the spunk in her face? Yes, that’s her personality! She has been around dogs but only seeing them from her kennel and sniffing nose-to-nose on occasion. If she sees another cat, she doesn’t care. She has been raised with 2 other kittens. Here’s the story…She and Misty (see other ad) came in together but they are not related. They came from a couple living in the country and the kittens lived outside. BUT…they were handled a lot by the couple and all the people that came over. We got them to improve their nutrition (they were living on adult dog food) and to do the vetting. They have since been living on good kitten kibble, dewormed, spayed, 3 vaccinations, and Rabies Vax!!! They are doing GREAT! Shortly after I got them, I received a single kitten found in a school parking lot. I took him in and did the same…good food, neuter, and vaccinations. All of them started in kennels then I moved them to my large bathroom. I turned it into a kitten jungle gym with a cat tree; baskets to sleep in; a beautiful window to the outside to let the sun in. Of course there were plenty of toys. The only challenge is that you can’t use the facility without both Misty and Munchkin visiting…with great affection. It’s hilarious! They are also litter box trained …which is the self-cleaning box that rotates to clean! They love it! I have seen Munchkin play with trying to figure out what makes it move. Of course, after the cat jumps out there is a delay of about 30 seconds before it starts to move. I’m sure that’s to make sure they are out of the box and not to scare them. These kittens love it.
