Story
My husband and I adopted these two cats Oakley (male shorthaired) and Olive (female long haired) sibling kittens in 2017. They have since been a huge part of our lives and even moved homes with us in 2020. They have been an amazing part of our family and our two daughters absolutely love them. Unfortunately our youngest daughter has a cat allergy and we will no longer be able to keep our cats. Oakley is very adventurous and loves to play! His favorite game is fetch with a pinecone. But he can also be very snuggly, especially at night. Olive is a big fluffy fur ball! She let our daughter climb/snuggle/play on her as babies and she loves a good pet session! We are really hoping to find them an amazing home they are both welcome in.

Story
Missy is the sweetest girl but we have reached a point we cannot care for her. Financially we cannot care for our cats anymore and it breaks our hearts to have to rehome them. Missy is the last one we have and we want her to go to a good home. She is full of love and once she’s warmed up to you all she wants is pets and cuddles and to be in your arms.

Story
These bonded cats were adopted by the Humane Society in Tacoma and Pierce. They are great cats, love to play and very affectionate, the gray one (Clyde) was adopted and classified as overweight / obese, however he was lost a lot of weight due to him having a calm playful personality. We sadly cannot keep them as my 10 month daughter has begone to show signed of allergies to cats and dogs. I wished to go through the safer route of the Humane Society again, but I got orders to leave the state by the end of the month and will not be able to take them with me. If anyone can show these two a loving home and know they will make great pets. Due the short time notice and bonded pairs I lowered the fee to 50 dollars in hopes it can allow good homes to be able to afford them. Thank you in advance

Story
Meet Sophie, a gentle soul looking for a new beginning. My Sweet baby Sophie has been a cherished part of my life and rehoming them is a difficult decision made only because of my recent pregnancy and inability to provide her the proper care she needs. Sophie is 12 yrs old, with a personality that’s equal parts loving and gentle. They enjoy playing with laser lights, lots of head scratches, long naps and they thrive in a home where they can move freely without other younger cats. They’re great with kids and elders, and they’ve always been happiest when they’re near their people. My hope is to find a family who will give Sophie the stability, affection, and attention they deserve. If you’re looking for a loyal companion and can offer a safe, caring home, this wonderful animal will give you so much love in return.

Story
HEARTWARMING RESCUE STORY DOB 8/26/22 Hey there, everyone! I'm Lollis, a very affectionate, delightful, playful “torbie” gal which means that I'm a brown tabby with patches of peach that makes me look like I was splashed with caramel in a candy factory. I can't get enough time to spend with Foster Meowmy, so I sleep with her and am always asking her for cuddles, especially when I don't have to compete with the resident cats for her attention. Although my independent, freedom-loving spirit has proven helpful in dealing “as needed” with the dogs, other cats, and kids in my foster home, my innate friskiness has made me a perfect companion for those same kids. I’ve been very bonded to Foster Meowmy ever since she spotted me at her jobsite as a seven-month-old stray kitten who had no momma or siblings in sight. Realizing that Foster Meowmy was my ticket to a life that was better than dumpster diving, I wasted no time and ran up to her. She scooped me up and drove home with me cuddled in her lap. Yes, our special connection began on that unforgettable journey. To this day, in those cherished moments when I need a little snuggle, it’s Foster Meowmy to whom I turn when I seek cuddling. I hope that my heartwarming rescue story has touched your heart. Yes, I chose Foster Meowmy, and now it's time for you to choose me to be your next feline companion. I want to become an integral part of your life and make every day an adventure worth sharing. Arrange to meet me today, and let's form a bond that's unbreakable! Incidentally, there are advantages to adopting a gal like me who’s past the stage of kitten mayhem. I’m much less likely to cause chaos in your home or break any of your family heirlooms. HOPE ID 23-1014-A047 Lollis is currently in the Houston, Texas area but can be transported to this location upon adoption. The $325 adoption fee includes transport, health certificate, spay/neuter, basic vaccines, microchip and registration, testing for FIV/FeLV, negative fecal test, and preventative treatment against fleas and parasites. Story
Daisy is the sweetest little mama, around 2 years old, who has lovingly raised two litters of four kittens each. She has the most beautiful creamsicle coloring, with soft tabby markings that make her truly unique. She loves to stretch out her delicate toes and greet you with the gentlest, most affectionate head bumps. And that tiny pink nose? Absolutely perfect for boops. Daisy would be a wonderful companion for someone who enjoys cozy nights wrapped in blankets with a loving kitty by their side. She’s incredibly affectionate, great with children, and has a calm, gentle nature. She isn’t a fan of dogs, so she’d thrive best in a dog-free home—and she would absolutely adore having a tall cat tree where she can perch, relax, and watch the world go by. Up to date on vaccines and spayed Adoption Fee $200 www.northwestwagrescue.org ##2713871##

Story
I took Chai and his brother, Earl in because their owner was going through financial hardship and wasn’t able to get them neutered or keep up with their veterinary care and vaccinations. She knew how much I love cats, although I hadn’t owned any for decades, and the cats I had then were mostly outdoor cats. I wanted to help care for them while they get re-homed.I started experiencing allergies. Allergy medication has helped, but I’ve realized that prolonged exposure significantly affects me and has increased my nasal drainage. As an interpreter, I rely heavily on my voice and breathing for work, so I have to be careful about anything that impacts my throat or respiratory health. They’re very sweet. Chai is timid & quiet. Earl is loud and confident, curious. They enjoy being petted. Both cats deserve homes where they can receive plenty of love and individual attention. This hasn't been an easy decision, I want what is best for them and for their long-term well-being.
