Although my independent, freedom-loving spirit has proven helpful in dealing “as needed” with the dogs, other cats, and kids in my foster home, my innate friskiness has made me a perfect companion for those same kids. I’ve been very bonded to Foster Meowmy ever since she spotted me at her jobsite as a seven-month-old stray kitten who had no momma or siblings in sight. Realizing that Foster Meowmy was my ticket to a life that was better than dumpster diving, I wasted no time and ran up to her. She scooped me up and drove home with me cuddled in her lap. ENDEARING MISCHIEF-MAKER DOB 4/13/25 Hey there, everyone! I’m Jupiter, an extremely playful and affectionate orange tabby fella who likes to jump on Foster Meowmy’s lap when she’s sitting on the toilet. I’m almost always happy to be cuddled and held like a baby with my tummy up. I’m all-boy, you know, and I can’t mess up my macho image by being too mushy and babyish. After my feral momma birthed Karma, Opal, Pluto, and me outside of Foster Meowmy’s house, she moved us to inside a neighbor’s car (through the open window, I might add). Then Meowmy moved us to a box on her porch, but when Momma saw some neighbors pick us up, she moved us a few doors down to a used-car business. Imagine Foster Meowmy’s surprise when she looked inside an old car and found not only us under the driver’s seat but also another litter of four kittens under the passenger’s seat!! She gathered up both of our stowaway litters and carefully placed us in boxes on her porch so that we could safely nurse. Our mommas continued to move us multiple times, and Foster Meowmy always managed to find us and put us back in our weaning boxes. Finally, when we were five weeks old and could eat on our own, Foster Meowmy brought us all inside to the safe haven of her home where she could care for all of us. She even was the perfect feline Florence Nightingale when she administered antibiotic ointment to some of our crusty eyes. Now that we’re fat and sassy, you can imagine the kitten mayhem that goes on inside our big foster bathroom! We tumble and pounce, climb and wrestle, and when we’re exhausted, we collapse in a kitten puddle. I even enjoy playing with the resident two-year-old cat. We’ve all got a little mischief in our genes because we love to escape the foster bathroom, but Opal and I win the prize for impishness because we like to dart around to explore the whole house and not just Foster Meowmy’s bedroom. I love to sleep in the bathroom sink because it’s my favorite “bed” when I need a little “time out” from the kitten frenzy. I love Foster Meowmy and am so grateful that she gave me a chance at the fabulous indoor life of a pampered pet. Now I’m ready to bring my “snips-and-snails-and-puppydog-tails” boyishness and rowdy playfulness to my forever family. A super sweet boy who would do best in a home without other animals or small children. While he has lived with other cats, a small dog, and young children for most of his life, he would truly thrive as an only fur child. He still has the energy of a kitten! He is very playful and hasn’t slowed down one bit. When he’s not playing or watching birds from the window, he loves to cuddle and will happily curl up in your lap or on your chest. He enjoys being pet and showered with affection. Like many cats, he can become overstimulated and may swat or nip if he is uncomfortable, nervous, or doesn't want to be touched; especially if faces are too close. An experienced, cat-savvy home would be ideal. He has been an indoor cat his whole life but shows great interest in the outdoors and enjoys safely exploring the yard or going on short adventures in a cat backpack or carrier. He would make a wonderful companion and has so much love to give to the right home.

Never thought I would be in this position in my life but sooll have no where I can keep my son (waffles) I love him and he is a great cat, I named him waffles cause he ate anything I put infront of him and that he was fluffy haha. I feed him on a scheduled diet as he will eat EVERYTHING. he’s special to me and I’ve grown a strong bond with him, I’ve taught him a few tricks like shaking hands or high fives and jumping through hoops, he’s really smart but also needy for love, he’ll let you know when he wants to be pet. He had a older brother that he grew up with and then a lil sister but needs a little time adjusting to new cats. I’ve spent the years taking them on road trips, since he was a baby I brought him everywhere so he loved to sit in my lap while I drove. Not once has he ever bitten or scratched me or anyone. He’s an al around good and funny cat and it breaks my heart that I can’t keep him, if only I had another year, I could make things work but time isn’t on my side.

Luna (7) and Pumpkin (3) are a bonded pair of female cats I’ve been fostering since April. They are very affectionate, social, and loving; true lap cats once they’re comfortable. They originally came to me through a church situation, and due to ongoing housing issues with their owner, I’ve continued caring for them. Unfortunately, I can’t keep them long-term because I already have a resident cat, and while Luna and Pumpkin are wonderful with people, they do best as the only cats in the home. About them: Must be adopted together (very bonded); - Ages 7 and 3 - Both female - Spayed ; - Up to date on all vaccinations including rabies - Friendly, affectionate, and people-oriented - Litter box trained - Healthy They would do best in a quiet, stable home where they can be the only pets and stay together.

Adopted at the end of August from Seattle Animal Shelter. He's a rambunctious almost-2-year-old who wants to play, but our resident cat will NOT accept his presence in our home. We are reluctantly hoping to find a better home for him.
