Story
Hi, I’m Shadow, an 11 year old indoor gentleman looking for a quiet, loving home to spend my golden years. My favorite place in the world is in someone’s arms. I’m a sweet, affectionate boy who loves cuddles, naps, and simply being close to my people. I’ve spent my whole life as a cherished family cat, so I know how to love and be loved. I’m a laid back companion who would much rather curl up beside you while you read a book or watch TV than cause any trouble. I get along well with other respectful cats and enjoy a peaceful home. As I’ve gotten older, I’ve developed some mobility challenges in my back legs and would benefit from a family who understands that senior cats deserve a little extra patience and kindness. In return, I’ll give you quiet companionship, gentle purrs, and unconditional love. If you’re looking for a best friend who still has so much love to give, I’d love the chance to spend my golden years with you. Love, Shadow 🐾

Story
I have had Misha for about 10 years. She can be affectionate for brief bouts but she is also sensitive to extensive petting and prefers very limited touch. She has always been a relatively sensitive moody cat but started to display touch aggression (biting) with me and my guests after the recent passing of my wife. She doesn’t tolerate other pets well and will do best with an adult caregiver who can be sensitive to her personality type. I want her to have a quality life and believe she will do well with the right adult. She enjoys sleeping with her caregiver and lap sitting and even enjoys some petting but again prefers it in limited amounts due to touch sensitivity. I would like her to go to a home with a caregiver who can just let her be herself and provide her with a nurtured life. She has always been an indoor outdoor cat, but prefers a litter box. She loves cat toys, such as laser pointer and feathers etc.

Story
Meet Gizmo! She may sound like a gremlin, but this girl is as sweet as can be. She can't resist a head scratch or a Churu, just don't feed her after midnight! She's playful, she's cuddly, and wonderfully adaptable. She's the kind of cat that fits right in, or makes you fit right in with her. Gizmo would love a home where she can be both your entertainment and your snuggle buddy, so if you're ready to bring a little Mogwai into your home, she may be perfect for you! To learn more about Gizmo, please reach out to our Placement Coordinator, Maggie, at 503-905-5200.

Story
This little guy showed up on my doorstep a couple of years ago and I ended up taking him in. He has been an inside cat. He really is the perfect cat, but I just don't feel like I am able to give him the time and attention that he deserves. He is very smart. Shakes on command. Asks for his breakfast and dinner. He is very good about using his box. He has never made a mistake. I clean the box almost every time he used it though. He loves to have conversations with you after arriving home. He will be the perfect companion for someone that has the time to love and care for him.

Story
This is Sunshine. I rescued her about two years ago from a cat hoarding house, she was in bad shape when I got her which led to losing one of her eyes, but that doesn’t stop her from being the sweetest girl! Our house is a multi cat house due to me rescuing animals so often. Sunshine doesn’t like change. She doesn’t like new animals, and gets stressed around chaos. I’d like her to go to an elderly home if possible. No kids. She gets on with my little chihuahua just fine. I think she would be okay with one or two older chill cats. She LOVES to sit in the window and people/bird watch. Her eye doesn’t bother her at all, I’ve never had an issue with it. She’s a bit independent but she loves her pets and scratchies. I can see how unhappy she is tho and it really hurts my heart for her. She deserves all of the loves and unfortunately, I can’t give that to her. I just want her to find a forever home so she can live and love her best life! She’s extremely loyal and can be a snuggler at times.

Story
Eden is 6 years old, she is very territorial and a bit of a trickster’s her will coax you in with belly rubs and then attack. She had a home before us and lives with them for 6 years, you have to earn her trust. She loves to play with toys and lasers, she needs a scratching post or else she’ll scratch your furniture. She pretty vocal and knows what she wants, and loves to move the water dish around the room. She has an attitude problem, I don’t think she’ll be amazing with young kids needs older 10+
