Story
I would like to find the best owners for my two male cats. Milo is the orange cat. He is about 4 years old. I have been his only owner. Milo is the adventurer! He loves inside and out. He enjoys being inside at night. He’s a sweet boy as well. He is very mellow and get along both kids and most other pets as we have a chihuahua as well. We are trying to find the perfect home for our boy. It is sad for us to have to let them go but we just learned our child has allergies to cats.

Story
These two are sisters. Born in April 2020. COVID-era babies acquired from a friends litter. Ruby is more Tabby with some calico color. Braveheart is more Claico with some tabby. Ruby is curious and runs to the people and the noise. Braveheart is shy and runs from the people and the nosie. Ruby is very tolerant of toddlers petting and chasing her. Braveheart just hides from them! They are both very sweet and love a warm lap to curl up in. Love their ears rubbed and purr up a storm. They are house trained and have been both indoor/outdoor cats. They do love to hunt outdoors, frogs, mice, small snakes, whatever is chaseable. You will find them a joy to have.

Story
Daffy is very bright and curious, loves to play and hunt for toys/treats. She’ll sleep under the covers with you and sit on your lap on her own terms. She’s sweet, feisty, goofy, and purrs like a motor with little chirps. Daffy's very independent and likes to explore nooks and crannies, and is good indoors and out. She was initially the only pet in the house, but I moved in with my partner and his dog 3 years ago, and adopted a puppy this year which she hasn’t been able to adjust to. She’s grown distant and started swatting at us and the puppy, causing some discord. We’re moving into a smaller place and are worried that will exacerbate the problem. I really think being the solo pet in a home would be best for her and make her very happy. The ideal situation would be someone who lives alone (or a couple) who loves and understands cats, and wants to spend time playing and creating a special bond with her. She is truly a gem, and just needs the right scenario to showcase that.

Story
Melon is a sweetpea, she is not my cat, only currently in my care. She was 6 weeks when taken from her mother and put in a home where she was heavily neglected. We saved her and 2 other mamas before the house they had been abandoned at was torn down. She had her kittens in June right before we took her in and has been a great mama but is so very ready to have new humans of her own who just want to give her the love and cuddles she deserves. We are currently trying to find a place to get her spayed, that we can afford.

Story
Cookie is a sweet little tabby cat who enjoys having a place to hang out and pets. Not much is known about her history as she showed up at some ones house pregnant. She seems to do ok with other cats and would probably do good with proper introductions. She's never been around dogs or children that I know of but would probably be ok with children who are gentle and know how to be kind and safe around animals. She is ready for her own home. She comes vaccinated, dewormed, tested negative for feline leukemia and aids, microchipped, and spayed. If you are interested in meeting her please fill out an application at www.sccpets.comIf you are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application.June 2, 2025, 4:20 pm

Story
Hi, my name is Chris and my sister Lucy (CH-Lucy) and I are looking for a very special person. You see, our human mom took us off the streets as feral cats when we were really young - as cats go, but probably as feral cats go, really too late to 'flip us', to be regular house cats. I have become more outgoing, as time has gone by, but, my human mom has always referred to Lucy as 'a ghost' I think you could actually say that I am the emotional support animal for Lucy (and she is mine) I could be a 24/7 lap cat. I love getting my belly rubbed and being brushed. When I came to SCC, I was pretty matted on my belly, but my foster person and I worked on getting all of those nasty felted mats off of my belly. That feels so nice now. We are ramping down on 12 years old now. SCC got us a senior blood panel and in the scheme of things, we are doing alright. Let me tell you about me. I am quite a bit bigger than my sister, and a very fluffy boy. I am a lot more outgoing than my sister, but still timid. As you can see from our pics, we are very bonded and are often perched together by the window, watching the world go by. We also like to play with catnip mice inside crinkly, kitty tunnels. And I really like treats! The cats in the foster home we are in come to visit us. I like to give them head-butts and am never aggressive with the visitors. Lucy stays back in the shadows and is not so welcoming. We would be best in a quiet home environment, like with retirees that live a quiet life, and are home more. If friends or family do come to visit, they might not see us, but you should know that we will be waiting for your company to leave so that we can come out. As you might assume, kids are a bit noisy for us, and even though we had a dog in our lives before, we can do without that. We are current on our vaccines and microchipped and are very good with our litterbox. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application.February 15, 2025, 2:14 pm

Story
Hi, my name is Ziggy. My human parents are going to be moving out of the country. To be honest, I am told that it is a monumental task just getting the two legged family moved and settled in. It is far more complicated with the four legged family. My humans really wish they could take us with them, but that is the reality we must accept. So, that being said, my human mom is working with SCC to help me find a new family. So, about me, I am a pretty bossy dude and am not really a fan of other cats. I do love my humans and am a delightful companion that loves snuggling on the couch. I am a pretty skilled hunter of my toy mice. I like to play with those stick toys with feather doo-dads and those are great for bonding. Like most cats, I think bathroom doors are an annoyance - where else can you get a captive audience for a few extra pets and chin scratches? I have a perch by the window and that is for those lazy afternoons to watch the birds and squirrels. I like kids of all (probably over age 5) - they can toss my toys for me. As for other cats, well, I am not a fan. I would probably be better as an only cat. I have been known to get jealous of the other cats in the home. I don't have any dog experience, so let's not go there. I have had some outdoor time, so maybe if you like to drink your morning coffee out on the patio, I can join you. I am microchipped and will be brought current on the RCP vaccine. I am very good with my litterbox. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application.September 17, 2025, 12:48 am
