Caleb was kind of a rescue. His previous owner wasn't experienced with indoor cats and he was looking for someone to take him in. The previous owner was a friend of my sister-in-law so we decided to take him in. We've had him for almost 3 years at this point. We have 3 other cats that are much younger than him. He is about 15-16 years old and the oldest one of the 3 other cats is 3 1/2. They want to be buddies with him and play with him all the time. He doesn't want anything to do with them. He gets irritated with them as he just wants to lay around, roam around, and use the litter box in peace. I want him to go to a home that also has older cats or no cats. He loves to get pets and will stare at you and head bump you until you pet him. He will also happily snuggle with you on the couch or in bed. I do not have a carrier for him. It is best to have something he can travel in.

Stripes is in the house! I am about 4 years old. I love my friend Patches! It has been Patches and Stripes for as long as I can remember. It would be great if we could be adopted together. Fred is a 13 year old orange tabby. He’s a gentle, kind, patient, wholesome boy. He’s been by my side since leaving the Marines in 2012. He’s been steadfast and loving through two pregnancies. We are about to have our third child and Fred has developed diabetes. It’s caused him to always poop on the floor next to the litter box. He never pees outside the box. With a 3rd child on the way and a home birth planned, the unsanitary condition is a non negotiable for us. The safety and health of my wife and our unborn child is priority. It pains us to re home Fred so we must ensure he lives his golden years in a good home. Fred currently needs insulin injections twice a day at 1.5 units each. Our vet said he could probably do oral insulin but we haven’t explored it yet because the injections are very easy and he’s very good with it.

We bought this grey kitty at a pet store that was having an “adopt a pet” day! While actually a grey tabby cat, his coloring reminded us of a Russian blue, so we named him Oskar Blues. As a kitten and a young cat, he was extremely playful and friendly towards all. To this day, he still always wants to be where all of us are. As more kids are around, he is more persnickety about who approaches him, but he is your typical “scaredy-cat” and will run and hide once he proves himself (by way of bopping with a flawless paw ;). 🐾 Oskar is about to turn 8 years old. He enjoys sleeping on beds, stretching in the sunshine, and sitting directly on top of whatever book you are reading. I think he would thrive in a home where someone was home often to enjoy him, and a home without tiny children running around disturbing his peace and quiet; He is without front claws, but has his back claws. He has always been exclusively an inside cat.
