Story
Momo is an extremely sweet baby boy with the gentlest soul. He absolutely loves chin scratches and cuddles, and he thrives on human affection. He does wonderfully with people and has never scratched or bitten anyone — not even during playtime. He truly is a loving, well-mannered companion. This was Momo’s first experience interacting with another cat (our resident cat), and he hasn’t been happy sharing his space with another fur baby. Because of this, Momo would likely do best as the only cat in the home, where he can soak up all the love and attention. If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate companion who will happily curl up beside you and melt into chin rubs, Momo may be your perfect match.

Story
Beautiful, spayed, healthy female cat - looking for a loving home. She is friendly, enjoys laps, and would be happiest if she were the only pet. Right now, we have three cats, and it is one too many for her. She is a sweet girl and very loyal and loving and enjoys receiving attention. She really doesn't like sharing her home with one of our other cats though.

Story
Milo is an extremely affectionate cat. He loves people and is so friendly. He’s house trained and never has accidents outside the litter box. He was adopted during COVID and I’ve started traveling quite often for work. I hate leaving him at home all the time! He deserve a loving home with a companion who loves to cuddle. He will always greet you at the door when you come home and chin scratches are his favorite. He is playful and loves to perch at the top of sofas and play with his laser before bed. Milo will come with one months supply of food, treats, toys, and a little box. Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions.

Story
Chance has been an amiable companion since day one to his foster mom! We found him in the street but too friendly to release. He has chubby cheeks and the prettiest jade green eyes. He is also the longest cat we have ever seen, so we named him Mr. Big. His foster brothers were not very friendly at first, but he won them over and now they love him. If you think your cat would never welcome another cat into the household, give Chance a chance!

Story
Chanel is very affectionate and playful. She sits on your lap, comes when you call, loves playing games with you. She loves being chased. You can pick her up, roll her around, rub her belly, and she will never swipe. She allows baths, being brushed and having her nails cut. Great with kids. Chanel is litter-trained, will also go outside. She has only ever used the wood pellets. Traveled with her internationally and she did fine. When my baby nephew comes to visit, he will grab her fur or pat her head, and she just takes it and wanders around following him everywhere. Korean Shorthairs have personalities that are curious and high-energy and love people. Talkative, like a Siamese. Needs a home that has plenty of space, a family who does not mind her making noise. I socialized her well since she was a kitten. Chanel is really unlike any other cat I have met. She's the absolute sweetest. Cuddly, energetic and clever.

Story
You might be wondering why I named an orange Tabby ‘Shadow’. Well he’s a super friendly cat that loves to be around people and will follow you around just like one! He loves to be picked up and play. I’ve jokes that he’s more dog like than cat like at times. He’s really a great cat and deserves better than I have the bandwidth to give at the moment. I’d love to find someone who will love him and play with him. He is a very vocal guy and will talk to you

Story
Hello, I am Hershey, a sweet and adorable eight-year-old black and white tuxedo DSH girl. I received my name after the Hershey candy bar can you believe that! I was adopted from AWLMC a few years ago and settled right in and life was very good. Unfortunately, my owner became very ill and was unable to care for me so I came back to AWLMC. I am a shy cat who runs when there are loud noises! I will admit little kids scare me as they want to chase me. I love playing with feather toys and toys that move across the floor especially the laser light toy. I am a bit shy when meeting new people and will hide for a while until I am more comfortable. When I am feeling safe, I follow you around, sit next to you and on your lap. If permitted I would love to join you at the dinner table. I love being up high (wait until you see me jump!), and looking out the window from my cat tree (I have one ready to go with me), observing life outside, the birds and squirrels or just curling up in the sun light for a nice cat nap. One of my favorite spots in the house will be the carboard scratching board. I love to scratch it and then lay down for a nap on it. I am also intensely curious about open doors you never know what is inside unless you check it out right? And boxes are another ting of interest. If you want to give me a gentle chin to tail massage, I am your girl. I have the tiniest meow so listen up! I like to sit with you, sleep with you, occupy your lap? Please come see me. You will not be disappointed. I want to go home with you. Please visit our website www.awlmc.org to learn more about this amazing cat and to see other available cats.

Story
Hi there, Im Luckysometimes. Other times my luck seems to run out, but I like my name and Im hoping to get lucky again soon. My first family gave me my name because they felt lucky after buying their dream house and then finding a cute little gray tabby girl kitten (me) hiding under the deck! Unfortunately the three little kids in that house were just too loud and scary, so I spent a lot of time hiding from them. No fun for anybody! My second family included a cat that I just could not get along with, so I came back to AWLMC. I was adopted by an older lady and life was fantastic! We truly loved each other. We watched TV from her couch and I slept on her bed at night. Unfortunately, she fell and broke her hip and could no longer care for me.I am a 5 year old gray and black tabby girl and I am still as cute as ever - and affectionate and playful and an all-round great cat. I really love hanging out with adult humans - but not kids or other cats. I will rub against your legs and when you sit down, I will be right there with you. Sometimes, I climb onto your chest for a petting and snuggle session. You can pick me up for a bit but I prefer to move around on my own. I will play with toys like the wand toy, anything with catnip, electronic toys, and I love scratching posts, especially horizontal cardboard ones.My paws are crossed, and I am hoping to find my true furrever home. Do you feel lucky? Let's roll the dice and see if we have a winning combination!   Please visit our website www.awlmc.org to learn more about this amazing cat and to see other available cats.

Story
Meet Minnieshort forMinerva, after the legendary Professor McGonagall herself. Just like her namesake, Minnie is elegant, intelligent, and quietly magical. This beautiful8-year-old solid gray Domestic Shorthairis being surrendered through no fault of her own; with a busy household that included a 3-year-old and a 1-year-old, Minnie became uncomfortable and stressed. Her family lovingly wants her to have a calmer, happier life where she can truly thrive.Minnie is agentle soulwho forms deep, meaningful bonds with her humans. She may be a bit shy at first, carefully observing her surroundings as she sizes up the situation, but once she feels safe, her playful and affectionate personality emerges. Minnie is happiest in acalm, predictable homeand would do best with a single person or family, possibly witholder childrenwho can respect her space.Minnie loves routine comfortsshe often beats you to bed at night and happily curls up on your lap, purring her heart out while you watch TV or work on your computer. While she allows being picked up, she prefers all four paws on the ground and may gently wiggle free. She does occasionally get thezoomies, announcing them loudly as she races through the house! Minnie is missing her front claws due to a past infection, but she uses the litter box without fail and enjoys a good scratching post.Minnie is patiently waiting for her special person to find hercome meet her and see if this gentle, gray beauty is the missing piece in your home.
