Story
Bella is a 5-year-old spayed tabby with a gentle, curious personality. She can be a little shy at first, but once she warms up and finds her person she becomes a very sweet and cuddly companion. Bella loves spending time by the window watching the world go by, bird-watching and even chirping when she sees them. She also enjoys exploring boxes and investigating new packages around the house. Around other animals she tends to keep her distance at first but is never confrontational. Bella would do well in almost any home and just needs a little patience at the start to let her affectionate side shine. Ask me about her brother!

Story
Kitty is 5 years old and was adopted as a kitten from a friend whose cat had kittens. She is sweet and kind and loves attention. She is good with kids and has been in the same loving home since she was a kitten. She loves to sleep on my bed next to me but also likes her own space. Unfortunately due to terminal health issues I am no longer able to care for her. She will come with her food, brush and water/food bowls. Located near Rockville Town Square.

Story
Hello! Kevin is a 10 year old tabby that we've had since he was 1 week old. He is very sweet and we never had any issues with him until we adopted a dog and had two children (ages 1&3 now). He is very good with both the kids and dog - very gentle and has never tried to hurt either - but it's clear that the addition of more family members has made him more territorial and we've been dealing with him peeing outside of the litter box. We have tried several methods to try to fix the situation, but it has become apparent to us that he would be better off in a home with no dogs and probably without very young children. We are hoping to adopt him along with his twin brother, Bo. We have not had these issues with Bo, but we don't want to separate them since they've been together since birth. We are really hoping to find a loving family for them that can give them the stress-free environment that Kevin needs!

Ginger (Gingy): Affectionate, Talkative Orange Tabby CatGinger, or “Gingy,” is a 4-year-old orange tabby cat with a big personality and an even bigger heart. She is a very affectionate, social, and talkative cat who loves real back-and-forth interaction.Gingy thrives on attention and enjoys being in the center of things—greeting guests, staying close during family time, and adding warmth to any home. She has been raised in a loving family with children, making her a wonderful family-friendly companion cat.Due to an upcoming move, we are seeking a new home where she can continue to thrive. Gingy would do best in a home that wants a friendly, interactive indoor cat who enjoys companionship and play.If you’re looking to adopt a loving, playful orange tabby, Gingy is a truly special match. If Gingy's forever home comes into our life, we will consider gifting her most useful accessories (multilevel cat tree tower, Litter-Robot and cabinet, Feeder-Robot, water fountain, etc.).

Story
Hi there, Im Luckysometimes. Other times my luck seems to run out, but I like my name and Im hoping to get lucky again soon. My first family gave me my name because they felt lucky after buying their dream house and then finding a cute little gray tabby girl kitten (me) hiding under the deck! Unfortunately the three little kids in that house were just too loud and scary, so I spent a lot of time hiding from them. No fun for anybody! My second family included a cat that I just could not get along with, so I came back to AWLMC. I was adopted by an older lady and life was fantastic! We truly loved each other. We watched TV from her couch and I slept on her bed at night. Unfortunately, she fell and broke her hip and could no longer care for me.I am a 5 year old gray and black tabby girl and I am still as cute as ever - and affectionate and playful and an all-round great cat. I really love hanging out with adult humans - but not kids or other cats. I will rub against your legs and when you sit down, I will be right there with you. Sometimes, I climb onto your chest for a petting and snuggle session. You can pick me up for a bit but I prefer to move around on my own. I will play with toys like the wand toy, anything with catnip, electronic toys, and I love scratching posts, especially horizontal cardboard ones.My paws are crossed, and I am hoping to find my true furrever home. Do you feel lucky? Let's roll the dice and see if we have a winning combination!   Please visit our website www.awlmc.org to learn more about this amazing cat and to see other available cats.

Story
.,CoCo is a 14-month-old teenage whirlwind wrapped in a sleek black coat, complete with a charming white patch on his chest and a few scattered white hairs that make him truly one of a kind. Bursting with energy and curiosity, hes always ready for actionwhether that means chasing laser dots, batting ping pong balls across the room, or leaping after wand toys with impressive agility. CoCo thrives on interaction and wants to be part of your day from start to finish, happily following you from room to room and keeping a close eye on everything you do. Hell greet you at the door when you come home, eagerly expecting pets, and warmly welcomes visitors by approaching them right away for attention and play. This playful boy would do best in a home with older, cat-savvy kids or perhaps a young, energetic feline companion who can match his enthusiasm. He didnt quite click with older cats in his previous home, likely due to their calmer pace. CoCo will need regular play sessions to channel his energy, or he may try to recruit you himselfwith a playful pounce or gentle nibble.Despite his lively nature, CoCo has a sweet side. He enjoys being held, will sit in your lap for short cuddle sessions, and purrs contentedly. With time, he may grow into the perfect affectionate companion. Story
Meet Minnieshort forMinerva, after the legendary Professor McGonagall herself. Just like her namesake, Minnie is elegant, intelligent, and quietly magical. This beautiful8-year-old solid gray Domestic Shorthairis being surrendered through no fault of her own; with a busy household that included a 3-year-old and a 1-year-old, Minnie became uncomfortable and stressed. Her family lovingly wants her to have a calmer, happier life where she can truly thrive.Minnie is agentle soulwho forms deep, meaningful bonds with her humans. She may be a bit shy at first, carefully observing her surroundings as she sizes up the situation, but once she feels safe, her playful and affectionate personality emerges. Minnie is happiest in acalm, predictable homeand would do best with a single person or family, possibly witholder childrenwho can respect her space.Minnie loves routine comfortsshe often beats you to bed at night and happily curls up on your lap, purring her heart out while you watch TV or work on your computer. While she allows being picked up, she prefers all four paws on the ground and may gently wiggle free. She does occasionally get thezoomies, announcing them loudly as she races through the house! Minnie is missing her front claws due to a past infection, but she uses the litter box without fail and enjoys a good scratching post.Minnie is patiently waiting for her special person to find hercome meet her and see if this gentle, gray beauty is the missing piece in your home.
