Story
There is no puppy sweeter than Sally. This girl exudes love and affection and wants to be constantly cuddled! Or playing; playing is great too, according to Sally! She enjoys various toys, romping and exploring, and socializing with other dogs of all sizes. Having this girl around is endlessly entertaining! You won’t be able to stop yourself from smiling at her derpy tongue sticking out, her speckled belly, or her habit of building a toy mountain to play with and sleep in.  Sally gets along wonderfully with the cats in her foster home albeit she does like to play with them. If your kitty would be happy with a playful doggie, Sally will be fine. Sally is a gangly girl; right now she’s all awkward, adorably floppy, long limbs, not unlike a baby deer. She is quite active, and will probably be that way throughout her life. Though we can’t be sure, Sally looks to be a mix of Pyrenees and Australian Shepard, which would explain her loyal and intelligent personality as well as her larger size. These breeds require outlets for their energy and smarts, so consider that before adopting a dog with such heritage. However, Sally is highly trainable. Her potty habits are perfect when given ample yard time, and she sleeps through the night in her crate. She loves to please her people, so training possibilities are endless.  If you’re looking for a loving, active canine companion, beautiful Sally may just be your girl! Sally weighs around 30 lbs and will continue to grow for the next several months. If you would like to adopt please apply at https://www.circle2rescue.com/dog-adoption-application/  The adoption fee of $300 includes the spay/neuter, vaccinations, deworming and microchip.   Please note, Circle 2 Rescue cannot guarantee the breed, composition or ages of our dogs as we usually have limited history prior to them entering the rescue.  ##2015146##

Story
Finn is the smartest, sweetest, most sensitive and cuddliest dog who only wants to please his people. He attaches quickly and attaches hard. He is also a herding dog through and through (his DNA test results say 75% of mostly australian shepherd, australian cattle dog, and border collie) with all the things that comes with. As with most herding dogs, he is a quick study and needs a job or else can be very high-strung. His herding nature has made him highly sensitive and suspicious of new things and loud noises. Finn is very trainable due to his intelligence and eagerness to please his people. Though he will never get into things he’s not supposed to or pee or poop inside the house or run away from you, he will lick your leg incessantly, chew a bone or ball on top of you, and make sure the entire neighborhood knows someone is walking by the house. Finn loves dogs who will play hard and long with him, and can be quite bossy about it (especially with submissive dogs). Finn loves people too, though tiny humans confuse and scare him and humans on roller skates, skateboards, dancing, skis, or otherwise moving “incorrectly” in his herding brain are to be chased and herded. Finn has never lived with cats, but with transition and boundaries, would likely be fine living with one. He also hardly sheds and has a short coat.  At 60 lbs with lanky legs and a muscular build, Finn is a dog made for herding and running cattle. A simple walk or two a day (or even hike) will not suffice. He needs brain work and physical work every single day for hours a day. Finn is 2 and a half years old now and will likely not slow down until old age. His first people tried very hard to give him what he needs, but realized their suburban home was just not the right place for him, even with hikes and off-leash romps in open space. He needs wide open spaces and a way to use his brain and body continuously. He knows how to herd intuitively, and just needs someone to give him the opportunity with a real herd and some training with directions to be his best self. The average American life just isn’t what Finn is cut out for. With the right environment, Finn would be an amazing work dog alongside you on a farm by day and cuddle up with you (and any other pups or humans in your life) next to a fire by night. Tired and content, he would flourish and be the best boy he’s always strived to be. If you are interested in adopting, please complete an application at https://www.circle2rescue.com/dog-adoption-application/  The adoption fee of $250 includes spay/neuter, vaccinations, microchip and dewormer. Adopters will be eligible to activate a 30 day free pet insurance policy from Trupanion if they adopt. Please note, Circle 2 Rescue cannot guarantee the breed, composition or ages of our dogs as we usually have limited history prior to them entering the rescue.  We make every effort to ensure the dogs are healthy. ##1117980##
