Story
This beauty is Lexi! She is an approximately 1-year-old, 36-pound stunner with the kind of looks that garner compliments from strangers and passersby. Her gorgeous tri-colored coat and striking blue eyes hint at some Australian Shepherd in her mix — but Lexi is even better than a purebred. She’s a rez dog, made up of many breeds, which often means healthier, sturdier, and wonderfully well-balanced genetics.  Lexi came to us from the Navajo Nation, where she lived alongside many different dogs. She is friendly and social with other dogs and loves her foster dog sister.  Lexi is the kind of dog who bonds deeply with her people and blossoms with kindness and consistency. If will take her time to feel safe in a new environment to she needs someone who is patient and understanding of shy dogs. Lexi recently learned how to walk on leash and it has been a big boost to her confidence. She is still cautious when experiencing new places. If you’re looking for a loyal companion with beauty, heart, and so much potential, Lexi may be the one you’ve been waiting for   Adopt Lexi and give this special girl the chance to fully shine. If you would like to adopt please apply at https://www.circle2rescue.com/dog-adoption-application/  The adoption fee of $250 includes the spay/neuter, vaccinations, deworming and microchip.   ##2622941##

Story
Bernie is a sweet, high-energy boy who needs a family ready to give him lots of love and attention. He is a purebred Australian Shepherd with a temperament typical of the breed. He enjoys playing, going on walks, riding in the car, and solving puzzles. Bernie does experience significant separation anxiety, which can lead to destructive or reactive behaviors. He often follows his owners from room to room and prefers to nap as close to his people as possible. He is crate trained and knows the commands sit and come. Bernie attempts to play with our cats, though his play can be too rough. He has bitten a few guests in our home, which we believe is related to protective behavior. He currently spends much of the day in a crate due to our full-time work schedules and would do best with a family that can be home more often. Bernie is taking anxiety medication, and we are actively working with him to reduce his separation anxiety.

Meet Frankie — a smart, loyal, and loving 40 lb Mini Australian Shepherd seeking his perfect home. Raised from a puppy during COVID, he’s grown into a playful, intelligent, and affectionate companion who bonds deeply with his people. Frankie is well-trained, eager to please, and loves structure, exercise, and mental challenges. His recall and obedience are excellent — he can even fetch a beer from the fridge and close the door! Frankie thrives on outdoor adventures like hikes, frisbee, and swimming, but also enjoys cozy downtime. Frankie does best in an adult-only home without children or young animals. He’s protective and can be anxious around unfamiliar people, but with an experienced owner who understands herding breeds, he’ll shine. Looking for an active individual or couple who can offer leadership, consistency, and love — Frankie will be a loyal and rewarding best friend.

Story
Jameson was adopted from Denver Animal Shelter when he was about 2 months old. He has been with me 10 months. He has a lot of energy, and I don't think we are a good fit. He needs a lot of attention and play space. He is crate trained and he likes to just lay in it to relax. Recently I've been leaving him out of the crate while I'm gone and he has done pretty well. Jameson needs a person who can get him out of the house more. He uses a gentle leader for walks and pulls a little. He generally loves meeting new people - he loves going to the brewery. He knows people around the neighborhood who he likes to say hi to for treats. He's a lover and likes to snuggle on the couch. He really just needs a bit more attention than I can give.

Story
Meet LaSalle! LaSalle is a very sweet and active adult Aussie mix who knows how to balance fun with relaxation. He loves going on walks and getting his energy out, but he’s equally happy curling up for a good nap afterward. He tends to have bursts of playful energy followed by chill downtime — the best of both worlds! This handsome guy is incredibly friendly with people and thrives on human affection. One of his favorite pastimes is playing fetch with his ball, especially if there’s peanut butter involved (his absolute favorite treat!). LaSalle is slowly warming up to other dogs and does best with dogs similar to his size and energy. He’s not a fan of huskies or dogs much smaller than him, so he’d do best with thoughtful introductions and possibly being the only dog or with a well-matched canine companion.  LaSalle is looking for a loving home that will give him patience, structure, and plenty of opportunities for walks, play, and naps. In return, he’ll give you endless sweetness, loyalty, and companionship. Could LaSalle be your perfect match?  ##2656040##

Story
Hi, I’m Perdida! I’m a shy girl who’s slowly but surely coming out of my shell. I’m sweetest when I feel safe, and once I do, you’ll start to see my playful side peek through. I love other dogs and really thrive with a confident canine buddy, bonus points if they like to play and can show me the way. I’m still learning to trust people, but I’m curious and making progress every day. I enjoy pets and scratches, and while I’m not a full-on cuddler yet, I’m definitely testing the waters. I’m still a work in progress with potty training, but I’m learning by following my foster sister outside and improving all the time. I can already make it through the night without needing a potty break, which I’m pretty proud of. I would do best in a home with a fenced in yard, since I have not worked my way up to walks yet. A safe outdoor space where I can explore and play at my own pace helps me feel confident. If you have patience, a playful and confident pup at home, and room in your heart for a gentle soul who’s growing braver by the day, I’d love to meet you. Note to adopters: Please only apply if you have another dog in the house ##2655065##

Story
Meet Apollo — your future shadow, sidekick, and biggest fan. This boy is a classic Australian Shepherd through and through: smart, energetic, and completely devoted to his people. If you’re looking for a Velcro dog who wants to be involved in everything you do, Apollo is your guy. Whether you’re heading out for an adventure or just moving from room to room, he’ll be right there, happily waiting for pets and praise. Apollo would thrive in an active home that can keep his mind and body busy. He’d love a dog sibling, but he’d also do just fine soaking up all the attention as your one and only. He’s even done well with the resident cat so far — a well-rounded gentleman! He’s crate trained, sleeps through the night like a champ, and is fully potty trained. Truly, he’s well on his way to being that “perfect companion” everyone hopes for — loyal, loving, and eager to please. Apollo is currently experiencing some growing pains, which may slow him down at times, but this is temporary and expected to resolve once he’s fully grown. In the meantime, he’s taking it all in stride and still living his best life. If you’re ready for a devoted adventure buddy who will love you with his whole heart, Apollo is ready to meet you. ##2656971##

Story
Meet Octavia — Your Adventure Buddy with a snuggly side Octavia is a true Colorado kinda girl. Give her blue skies, fresh mountain air, a trail to explore, or a backyard to zoom in, and she is in her element. She’s seeking a like-minded family who believes dogs aren’t just pets — they’re partners. Hiking buddy? Yes. Camping companion? Absolutely. Passenger-seat co-pilot with the window cracked? Her favorite. But let’s be clear — this outdoorsy girl is not only about activities. If your perfect Sunday includes a blanket, a couch, and a questionable number of binge-watch episodes, Octavia is fully on board. She comes equipped with premium puppy snuggles, warm cuddles, and that soft little sigh they do when they’ve decided you are their person. It’s elite-level comfort. Octavia’s story could have been very different. She came to us after a kind, quick-thinking citizen witnessed her owner giving away a litter of puppies in a parking lot. One moment of compassion changed everything. Without that person stepping in, Octavia’s future was terrifyingly uncertain — and when dogs are treated as disposable, the paths they’re sent down are rarely safe or kind. And yet… look at her now. Octavia is a young Border Collie / Australian Cattle Dog mix with a bright, curious mind and the most endearing markings. She’s what we lovingly call a rez dog — likely carrying a medley of beautiful breeds in her DNA. These mixed-breed gems are often the best of all worlds: resilient, adaptable, healthy, and deeply loyal. That unique blend? It’s her superpower. Octavia isn’t looking for perfection. She’s looking for belonging. A family who will include her in their adventures, their routines, their everyday moments. Someone who understands that the best lives are shared.  If you would like to adopt please apply at https://www.circle2rescue.com/dog-adoption-application/  The adoption fee of $350 includes the spay/neuter, vaccinations, deworming and microchip.   ##2654693##
