Story
She is a well behaved dog, will be happy with a new home, just add love and food. We found here wondering around on our farm in 2018. She was born in the country and we never met her mother. She has great experience with farm animals, chickens, ducks, geese and will not attack them. We have acquired a new female Japanese Akita lately and they simply cannot commingle . The Akita has become territorial and this is no fault of Toby. We just cannot risk having them fight.

Adoption Fee: $475 When available, all animals are fixed in accordance with Colorado law, up to date on vaccines (may need boosters), and microchipped! What we know: Transferred from Dallas, TX, three pups found abandoned, two male, one female. From the foster: This smart gal has been so fun to foster. She has a lot of great energy and loves to play and run. She is brave and curious and loves to explore. She would do great in a house with or without dogs, as long as she has friends to play with on occasion. She has been fostered with her 2 brothers and they have been perfecting their skills in chase, tug and wrestling. She has not met a toy she doesn’t like - bones, stuffies, empty cardboard boxes, you name it and she’s happy, and she’ll chase tennis balls but we’re working on bringing them back. Her foster in Texas had a medium sized dog that she would happily chase and play tug with. When it’s nap time, she’s happy curling up on the couch but she’s happier curling up in your lap for snuggles. We’re working hard on potty training, she may not be quite there but she’s the closest of her siblings and will go when you take her outside frequently. She is doing well with crate training and falls asleep quickly after a little whimpering, but she would still benefit with a very early morning potty break. Great with dogs, unsure on cats. www.coloradopuppy.org/how-to-adopt

What we know: Transferred from Dallas, TX, three pups found abandoned, two male, one female. From the foster: This guy is a foster favorite. He is snuggly and sweet and so charming. He has a great personality and he is so funny watching as he learns to navigate this big world. He has a lot of great energy and loves to play and run. He is brave and curious and loves to explore. He would do great in a house with a furry friend around to show him the ropes. He has been fostered with his brother and sister and they have been perfecting their skills in chase, tug and wrestling. He has not met a toy he doesn’t like - bones, stuffies, empty cardboard boxes, you name it and he’s happy. When it’s nap time, he’s happy curling up on the couch but he’s happier curling up in your lap for snuggles. We’re working hard on potty training but he will benefit from a routine and guidance and lots of treats. He is a hungry boy that would also benefit from a slow feeder. He is doing well with crate training and falls asleep quickly after a little whimpering, but he would still benefit with a very early morning potty break. Great with dogs, unsure on cats. www.coloradopuppy.org/how-to-adopt
