Story
Ollie is such an amazing dog! He is an Australian Shepherd Mix and has lots of love to give. He is incredibly intelligent, has endless energy and loves playtime. He is very respectful of sleepy time and is very comforting when you’re feeling down because of his goofy personality. He is also wonderful with people and children, which is a big plus! Ollie needs a new home because I unfortunately cannot provide him the space he needs to run and play nor do I have time to give him enough mental stimulation. He spends entirely too much time alone indoors and has become male-aggressive over the past few months because he has so much pent up energy. He needs lots of love and patience by someone willing to give that to him and who has space for him to run about (he is NOT built for apartment complexes). Ollie could benefit greatly from a bit of behavioral training, but it is something I cannot afford alone. I am open to splitting costs to ensure he finds his new forever home! Other than this, he has NO other issues!! If interested, please let me know! I’d love to hear from ya. Thanks for looking! Story
Happiness is a handsome 4-year-old named HeyHey! Sweet and easygoing, the 27-pound owner surrender LOVES being close to his foster mom, resting his head on her, having his coat brushed, and then faithfully following her around the house. Moderately energetic and friendly, he also loves engaging with other friendly dogs, going on walks, playing fetch and playing with toys, particularly soft squeaky toys. While HeyHey seems to know no commands, he’s bright as the proverbial button and eager to please, and being motivated by food and love should prove easy to teach. Fond of milk bone treats, accepting them gently, he’s never crated and is diligently at work on his house-training. Now what handsome HeyHey needs to make him even happier is a loving home to patiently complete his training, including his commands, and keep him mentally and physically fulfilled fur-ever.   Animal Rescue of the Rockies believes every pet should find a wonderful and caring home. Story
Kudos to 18-month-old Kaiser for being an absolute joy in his foster home! At a peppy 33 pounds, he exudes energy and enthusiasm, and is not only the happiest and friendliest dog but the best cuddler and snuggler around. Embracing life to the fullest, confidently considering it one great adventure, he loves meeting new people and other dogs, thrives on activity, and does best with one long walk or several short ones daily, making him an ideal running and hiking partner. Kaiser also loves plush toys, Nylabone wishbones, shinbones, dog treats and Kongs, plays with toys on his own to keep himself entertained, and accepts all treats gently. Eager to please and easy to teach, motivated by food, toys and love, he currently knows “come,” “sit,” “stay,” “down” and “no,” and gets along easily both with children and the resident cats. Almost fully crate and house-trained and at work on his puppylike manners, Kaiser will thrive in a loving home that will complete his training, including his commands, and ensure that he’s kept mentally and physically satisfied fur-ever.
