Story
Ryker is a stunning & loyal companion ready for his forever home 🐾He’s ~45–50 lbs, fully house-trained, crate trained, and incredibly intelligent with a very solid command foundation. Playful, silly, loving, and so eager to please. He gets compliments on his looks and temperament everywhere he goes!Rescued from an overcrowded shelter in Santa Fe last October, Ryker has blossomed into an amazing companion who bonds deeply with his people ☀︎ He is friendly at dog parks and generally non-reactive in public, making him a wonderful dog to bring along on adventures. He rides great in the car — even on long road trips — settles well at home, and enjoys both playtime and relaxing near his people. He loves flirt pole sessions, squeaky toys, hiking, and being outside. His ideal home would include:• A fenced yard• Daily exercise/play• Someone home often or with a consistent routine• A playful dog buddy would be a huge bonus ♡

Story
Little Miss Coco is about four months old and has the cutest bat ears and underbite. She is an excellent cuddler, loves to be held, but is still independent. Coco will duck out of your reach if you go to pick her up but once held-- will melt in to you. She loves to be rough and tumble with her foster siblings and can be a little bit of a bully to smaller dogs.  Coco rides excellently in the car - mostly just lays down and sleeps.  She did great at a brewery with live music and lots of people.  She is learning to walk on the leash. She knows her basic commands of sit and no. She's doing well with her potty training and will go into the crate without too much of a fuss. Coco is being fostered in Colorado Springs.  ##2646225##

Story
Meet Ronda!Ronda is a sweet, playful gal who may be a little shy at first—but give her a few days, and she’ll blossom into your new best friend. She’s an active pup who loves to run around and is learning to play fetch (though sometimes she gets so excited she forgets to bring the toy back!). Ronda is adjusting wonderfully to life outside the shelter. She’s mostly potty trained and will let you know when she needs to go out, but if she can’t hold it, she’ll use potty pads. She gets so excited to play outside that she sometimes needs a gentle reminder that it’s also potty time. Walks are still a little intimidating for her, but with patience and encouragement, she’s learning that they can be fun. Ronda is a Kelpie mix, though on the smaller side—she may even have some Chihuahua in her. No matter her mix, she’s a lovable, playful companion who is eager to bond with her forever family. She would do best in a home without young children. Slow introductions to other dogs are best, and while she’s still figuring out cats, she knows to leave them alone when told. Ronda can’t wait to meet her perfect match. Come see her at an adoption event—she just might steal your heart! ##2461439##

Story
Meet Hassan Breed: Husky / Kelpie Mix Sex: Male DOB: July 17, 2022 Weight: 66 pounds Health: Healthy and vaccinated Hassan is a striking, intelligent boy with soulful eyes and a strong, resilient heart. He was abandoned and rescued from a very busy roadway, where he was dangerously close to being hit by cars. Thankfully, he was saved in time — and now he’s ready for the safe, loving forever home he deserves. Despite his difficult beginning, Hassan has remained loyal, playful, and full of life. Personality Hassan lives peacefully with other dogs and enjoys being around humans. He loves going out for walks, running, and exploring the world around him. Playtime is one of his favorite things — especially chasing a ball or carrying around plush toys. When he first meets new people, Hassan can be a little reserved or cautious. But once he gets to know you, his personality softens beautifully, and he becomes affectionate and loyal. He just needs a little time to feel secure. Hassan does not like sharing his food, so he would do best in a home where feeding routines are managed thoughtfully and respectfully. Breed Info: Husky / Kelpie Mix This is a smart, athletic mix that typically brings: High intelligence and problem-solving ability Strong loyalty to their people Active energy that thrives with exercise A desire for engagement and purpose Hassan will do best in a home that enjoys walks, outdoor time, and mental stimulation. Owner Responsibilities Hassan will thrive with: Daily exercise (walks, running, play sessions) Continued positive reinforcement training Clear structure and consistency Managed feeding routines due to food guarding Patience while he builds trust with new people He is not difficult — he simply needs leadership, routine, and love. &#226&#154&#160&#239&#184&#143 Things to Consider Before Adopting Before bringing Hassan home, please consider: Do you have time for daily exercise and enrichment? Is your home and lifestyle stable long-term? Are pets allowed where you live? Can you provide structure and manage feeding separately if needed? Adoption is a lifelong commitment, especially for an active breed mix Hassan deserves a home that won’t give up on him. Vet Care Although Hassan is healthy and vaccinated, adopters should schedule a visit with their own veterinarian as soon as possible after adoption to establish care and continue his wellness routine. The 3-3-3 Rule First 3 days: Hassan may be cautious and observant as he adjusts. First 3 weeks: He’ll begin to learn your routine and feel secure. First 3 months: Trust deepens, and his loving, loyal personality truly shines. Patience and consistency will help him flourish. Why Hassan Is Special Hassan survived being abandoned and left in danger — yet he still chooses trust. He is playful, intelligent, and deeply loyal once he bonds. He deserves stability, safety, and someone who will show him that he is finally home for good. If you’re ready for an active, devoted companion who will stand by you with loyalty and heart, Hassan is waiting for you If you are interested in adopting this amazing dog, please follow the link https://www.ozzieandfriendsrescue.org/adoptions and fill out an application  Thank you for choosing Ozzie and Friends Rescue. Story
Peach: The Sweetest Pup You’ll Ever Meet We’re guessing Peach is around 8–10 years old. She was living at a sheepherderders ranch when he suddenly died leaving 19 dogs homeless. Peach was one of the last ones to be rescued. This sweet, squishy senior might have spent her whole life outside but she has adapted beautifully to indoor living. She'll take a sofa and TV over the cold ground any day! Since coming into her temporary foster, Peach has discovered the absolute joy of living indoors… soft beds, cozy blankets, brushing sessions, and someone to cuddle with. She is soaking it all in like she’s been waiting her whole life for this chapter. She’s completely vetted, house trained, and was trustworthy in the home from day one — no kennel needed. She just wants to be near her people. She adores being brushed, melts into you for cuddles, and gives the sweetest little kisses. And yes… she kind of looks like an Oompa Loompa.   She does well with other dogs and politely barks at the cat (we all have our hobbies). On leash she’s still figuring things out — we’re keeping expectations humble and progress steady. Walks really aren't her jam so if you have a soft place for her to lounge she will be perfectly content! What Peach truly wants? A soft place to land. A couch. A human. Some TV time. A hand to hold. After a lifetime outside, she deserves to spend her golden years safe, adored, and spoiled rotten. If you’ve ever thought about giving a senior dog a home… Peach is ready to give you her whole heart. Peach is in a temp forster and we are looking for a foster or foster to adopt for her. If you would like to adopt/foster please apply at https://www.circle2rescue.com/dog-adoption-application/  The adoption fee of $75 includes the spay/neuter, vaccinations, deworming and microchip.   ##2674223##

Meet Sable — a stunning tri-colored beauty with a gentle soul and a love for the great outdoors ** More pics coming soon! This Australian Shepherd mix has all the traits that make the breed so beloved — she’s intelligent, loyal, intuitive, and naturally in tune with her people. She’s the kind of dog who forms deep, meaningful bonds — the once-in-a-lifetime kind Sable is already embracing the Colorado lifestyle and would love a home that shares her appreciation for fresh air, open spaces, and maybe a few mountain views along the way. Story
Hi… I’m Oliver. I’m a bit of a shy guy --  maybe you understand that.  Were you the quiet one growing up? The one who didn’t feel the need to be the center of attention… who preferred a small circle, or just your own space? If so, we might just get each other I’m about 1 year old and around 50 lbs, with a gentle heart and a soft, thoughtful nature. I’m not the kind of dog who runs up to greet strangers—and that’s okay. I’m never mean or reactive… I don’t growl, snarl, or cause a fuss. I simply choose to hang back and observe from a safe distance. New people are just… not really my thing (at least not yet). Where I do shine is with other dogs I absolutely love them. I currently live with my best friend and have several dog pals in the neighborhood—I’m social, playful, and completely at ease in their company. Having a confident dog buddy in my future home would make me so happy. I’m not a “life of the party” kind of dog. I’m a “sit beside you quietly, build trust slowly, and love you deeply once I feel safe” kind of dog With patience, gentle guidance, and time, I may grow more confident. But what I really need is someone who doesn’t expect me to be something I’m not—someone who sees my quiet nature as something special, not something to fix. Sweet, sensitive, and gentle Dog-loving and social with canine friends Quiet and well-mannered Observant and thoughtful Looking for a calm, understanding home If you believe the quiet ones have the biggest hearts… I think I’ve been waiting for you My story started rough—my siblings and I were left in a wire crate on the side of a hot, rural road with nothing but a “Free” sign. It was scary, but we were rescued just in time! If you would like to adopt, please complete an application  at https://www.circle2rescue.com/dog-adoption-application/  The adoption fee includes the spay/neuter, vaccinations, deworming and microchip.   ##2451783##
