Story
Meet Buttercup, the charming and affectionate rescue dog who has already stolen her foster mom's heart! This delightful 1 to 2-year-old Kelpie mix, weighing around 40 pounds, not only lives up to her sweet name but also boasts a bundle of remarkable qualities. Buttercup is an intelligent pup, always quick to respond when called, making her an ideal furry friend for those who appreciate a sharp and attentive companion. She's proven to be a quick learner, adapting effortlessly to the use of a dog door and displaying perfect house training skills. In fact, she's so well-behaved that she can roam freely in the home when her foster mom is at work. While she hasn't been crated yet, Buttercup seems to catch on quickly to new things. Her only quirk seems to be a bit of curiosity about the trash can, so be sure to secure it when you're away. Out and about, Buttercup walks well on a leash and enjoys her daily outings. Her charm doesn't stop with humans; she adores her three dog foster-brothers and even gets along famously with the cats in her home. Buttercup enjoys snuggling up with her foster mom and her fellow furry companions. While she loves to play, her energy and cattle dog traits might be too much for some dogs, especially smaller ones. She can be nippy and mouthy when she is playing and gets excited so probably no children.. Buttercup is ready to bring joy and endless affection into her forever home. Don't miss the opportunity to welcome this wonderful, intelligent companion into your life. She's eagerly awaiting the chance to become your loyal and loving four-legged family member. If you are interested in adopting please complete an application at https://www.circle2rescue.com/dog-adoption-application/  The adoption fee of $250 includes spay/neuter, vaccinations, microchip and dewormer.   Please note, Circle 2 Rescue cannot guarantee the breed, composition or ages of our dogs as we usually have limited history prior to them entering the rescue.  We make every effort to ensure the dogs are health ##1845591##

Story
Peter is an adorable 4 month old lab mix with a heartwarming personality, plenty of puppy playfulness, and a gorgeous carmel colored coat. With his soft fur and captivating eyes, he's the kind of pup you can't help but fall in love with at first sight. His friendly and outgoing demeanor is sure to steal your heart. He's a bundle of joy, always ready to greet you with a wagging tail and a smile. This little guy is full of love and charm, making him an ideal companion for families and individuals alike.Peter currently lives with other adult dogs, who have played a crucial role in mentoring him. He has already mastered the art of using the dog door and is making impressive progress with his house training. Peter is a quick learner and is eager to please! Because he loves other canines, Peter would thrive in a home with another dog (or two). He sleeps through the night in his puppy pen or snuggled up in his foster parents' bed. He really likes sleeping in someone's bedroom near another dog or person. Peter's hobbies include spending time in the yard, where he showcases his silly, playful nature. When he's not showing off his athletic prowess, Peter is a world-class snuggler who adores curling up on the sofa with you for a relaxing movie night. Peter does get along with cats, but the introductions need to be supervised and gradual, just like introducing a new acquaintance.  Intrigued? Come meet this special pup today and give Peter the loving forever home he deserves. He's waiting to bring joy, laughter, and endless cuddles into your life. Peter's mom was an Australian Kelpie mix so Peter has some of that and possible some labrador and goodness knows what else! If you would like to adopt please complete an application at https://www.circle2rescue.com/dog-adoption-application/ The adoption fee of $300 includes the spay/neuter, first set of  vaccinations, de-wormer and microchip!   Please note, Circle 2 Rescue cannot guarantee the breed, composition or ages of our dogs as we usually have no history prior to them entering the rescue.  We make every effort to ensure the dogs are healthy. ##1820664##

Please fill out an adoption application at mamcorescue.org or attend one of our Saturday adoption event. Events are held each Saturday from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm at our office: 2721 W Oxford Ave., Suite 6 Englewood, CO 80110 *In order to protect our puppies, we do not allow puppies to attend open events until they have a minimum of two vaccinations. Puppies who are available, but not listed on our weekly Facebook event, are considered "deposit only" puppies. These puppies will only attend the event IF they are reserved through a deposit. You can check the list of puppies attending the open event by checking the event: https://www.facebook.com/MAMCORescue  At MAMCO we understand that in order to continue rescuing moms and babies, we must stretch our finances as far as we are able. For this reason we use variable adoption pricing. By assigning higher adoption fees to high demand moms and puppies, we are able to rescue more families in need. The money raised through these adoptions acts as a benefactor to moms and puppies in our care who require expensive veterinary treatments, have behavioral issues, or need more time to find a home. We often reduce the adoption fees on these harder-to-place moms and puppies to help them find forever families. Adoption fees vary. Applications can be filled out at mamcorescue.org. ##1826261##

Sienna is about a year old and a high energy gal. She loves other dogs and toys and is always up for a good game of tug o war. She would do best with a dog her size or larger and the same energy level. She is housebroken and sleeps the night in her kennel. She can sit, down and shake but needs work on not counter surfing.

Story
Loretta is a survivor! This sweet girl survived Parvo while in the shelter before she was able to be rescued.  Loretta was rescued from a high kill shelter in Texas.   We have no additional back story or update for this dog at this time.  When we do, it will be updated here.  This is all the information we have currently. Approved Applicants may make the adoption fee payment by clicking donate above.  Partial adoption fees will not hold a dog. Dogs adopted with our rescue come with FREE training from #GoodPup to help you build strong bonds from the start! If upon meeting the dog of your choosing at your scheduled pickup time you find that you aren't a good match, your deposit will be fully refunded. Adoption fees include vaccines up until time of adoption, microchip, spay/neuter and 1st 30 days of free Pet insurance.  We are not affiliated with Pet First pet insurance. (you have to sign up for the insurance or it will not go into effect).  Adoption fees help cover the medical care of the animals while he or she waits for a new home, as well as food and transportation costs. These fees help to provide care for the other animals in the shelter or rescue group who may have medical bills that are much higher than any possible adoption fee. The money also acts as a donation to help support the organization as a whole, allowing the group to continue its efforts to rescue and rehome pets. The dogs in our care are fostered in Colorado, Texas, and New Mexico.  While all dogs are picked up during our scheduled times, sometimes transport dates change due to unforeseen circumstances.   More questions?  Read our FAQs here: https://4p4l.org/faqs/  Breed labels are a "best guess" by a shelter veterinarian and cannot be guaranteed.  A new study has concluded that (in layman's terms), breed assumption is NOT indicative of behavior in mixed breed dogs.  Therefore, if a dog looks presumably to be a German Shepherd breed, one cannot assume the dog will have a high prey drive.  From the study: "Although many physical traits were associated with breeds, behavior was much more variable among individual dogs. In general, physical trait heritability was a greater predictor of breed but was not necessarily a predictor of breed ancestry in mutts. Among behavioral traits, biddability—how well dogs respond to human direction—was the most heritable by breed but varied significantly among individual dogs. Thus, dog breed is generally a poor predictor of individual behavior and should not be used to inform decisions relating to selection of a pet dog" - https://www.science.org/doi/10.1126/science.abk0639 ##1875478##

Story
5 Things You Should Know About Wednesday #1 -  She's a survivor.  When a horrible disease called parvo threatened her life at a very young age she fought back with that unmistakable rezdawg spirit we so often see in our animals.  #2 - She's well traveled.  Originally from Arizona, she spent some time in New Mexico and finally made it to Colorado to start her new life. #3 - She adores her foster brothers and sisters.  Wednesday can often be found snuggled up to one of the 5 resident dogs in her foster home.  A canine companion is an absolut must in her forever home. #4 - She's a little shy at first.  After all she's been through who can blame her? #5 - She will make someone the perfect companion.  This little girl is blossoming in her foster home and we are so excited for her future. Wednesday is currently fostered in Colorado Springs and will be ready to meet potential adopters starting on 12/4.  If you are interested or have any questions for her foster mom please submit a no obligation adoption application and her foster mom will get in touch with you.  Thank you for considering adopting one of our many deserving animals.  ##1848500##

Story
Meet Annie's adorable puppies! Willow was born on 9/15/23 will be around 8 weeks old on 11/11/23, which is a suitable age to start her life with her forever family. She is a little on the shy side, but warms up quickly! She's just a baby after all  That's why it's important to be patient with shy puppies and help them acclimate to their new environment. Socialization and positive experiences will be key to Willow's development. House training can be a bit of work, but with her intelligence, she should pick it up fairly quickly with consistent guidance and reinforcement. If you are considering adopting Willow, it's crucial to be prepared for the responsibility of raising and training her. Puppy training classes, socialization with other dogs and people, and positive reinforcement methods are all valuable tools in helping a young puppy become a well-adjusted, obedient, and happy pet. If you would like to adopt please complete an application at https://www.circle2rescue.com/dog-adoption-application/ The adoption fee of $350 includes the spay/neuter, vaccinations, de-wormer and microchip!   Please note, Circle 2 Rescue cannot guarantee the breed, composition or ages of our dogs as we usually have no history prior to them entering the rescue.  We make every effort to ensure the dogs are healthy. ##1856550##
