Adoption Fee: $475 When available, all animals are fixed in accordance with Colorado law, up to date on vaccines (may need boosters), and microchipped! What we know: Litter of 3 (2F, 1M) transferred at ~2.5 months old from Operation Pawprints in Texas. Pups were found on their own after their mom was tragically killed. The family who found them cared for them until they were able to reach out to a rescue for help to surrender them. - Early stages of crate training - Early stages of potty training From the foster: Meet Mae, a fluffy little ball of chaos wrapped in puppy fur and powered almost entirely by zoomies and cuddles. This sweet girl loves to run, play, wrestle in the grass, and then immediately crash into your lap for a LONG nap. She’s very vocal about her thoughts and feelings, so expect adorable puppy grumbles, “talks”, and commentary throughout the day. Mae is obsessed with kids, especially the ones willing to get dirty, roll around outside with her, and show interest in her puppy adventures. She’s curious about cats but does a wonderful job respecting their boundaries (even when she desperately wants to know what they’re up to). With other dogs, Mae has a great balance of confidence and manners, she’s happy to approach and play while still respecting when another dog needs space. She’s learning crate training and will gladly walk into her crate with the help of a few treats and some encouragement. Sleeping in the crate still isn’t her favorite thing in the world, but she does settle eventually, especially with a little white noise to keep her mind preoccupied. Mae is also working hard on potty training. She’ll use puppy pads in the house and does a great job going potty outside in the grass when given the opportunity she’s just still figuring out when she needs to go and how to tell her humans when she needs to go. Mae is also actively working on tackling the stairs. Mae is pure puppy through and through silly, lovable, curious, playful, and full of personality. Whoever adopts this sweet fluff ball is getting a best friend who will keep them laughing, cuddling, and very loved for years to come. www.coloradopuppy.org/how-to-adopt

The family who found them cared for them until they were able to reach out to a rescue for help to surrender them. - Early stages of crate training - Early stages of potty training From the foster: Meep! Wow, what a little personality on this one. She’s a 2.5/3month old Border Collie Mix with all the curiosity and energy of a young puppy. She likes to watch her brother try things first but then learns quickly after a little observation. She is VERY excited to see her humans and will follow you around, literally everywhere you go. She is still learning where to potty, which is normal at her age. With consistency she will learn where and where not to go quickly. Meep really likes to play tug of war with her sibling and gets along well with our older dogs even though it took her a few minutes to trust them. She loves having a warm, enclosed place to lie down like a crate or a kennel where she can take a quick breather by herself. She loves curling up in your lap even more though, so don’t think you’ll have an empty lap for quite some time with this one. Meep is still learning to go down stairs but runs up the stairs with no problem. She’d rather be carried down the stairs at this point but that might just be because she also loves to be held by her humans. Whoever chooses Meep is sure to find themselves giggling at her endless bounces and will always have a companion to curl up next to www.coloradopuppy.org/how-to-adopt

Adoption Fee: $475 When available, all animals are fixed in accordance with Colorado law, up to date on vaccines (may need boosters), and microchipped! What we know: Single female pup transferred at ~3.5 months old from Española Humane Society in New Mexico. Intake type at the shelter listed as "transfer in/other organization", no further information is known. Came with the name Zuni. From the foster: Young border collie mix looking for a life partner. I love to explore and try new things, balls, fluffies chews, and this new thing, Frisbee! I'm not all that good yet but I love to try! Learning new things is my specialty, treats are great but often just a "Good Girl" is enough for me! I go outside to potty unless the doggie door is locked. Then I'll use the puppy pad next to it. As I mentioned, I love to see and do new things, but sometimes I get a little scared and sit behind my foster. That's why I think my name is Honey. Cuz she tells me "its ok Honey" then I feel braver. I saw this big cat today, I was curious, but I didn't get too close. Anyway, if you don't have any plans on Saturday, maybe we could get together and .... who knows? we could spend a lifetime together! Love Honey www.coloradopuppy.org/how-to-adopt

He loves cuddling and giving hugs in between playtime with his sister and our resident dogs. He’s curious about almost everything and will follow you around hoping to learn something new! Moe has no problem asserting himself with other dogs but also knows when to take it easy. He is eager to figure out new things each day but is also happy to take a nap at your feet when things quiet down. Moe is super sweet and really is a total fluff ball. He will need proper grooming as he gets older due to his thick coat but a good brush is working for now. He loves a good back scratch and will stop in his tracks as soon as someone starts petting him. He is the only boy in his litter and as you can imagine, that makes him very good at using those puppy eyes to get what he wants. Moe is still learning potty etiquette but is happy to go in the grass given the opportunity. He and his sister enjoy sleeping together at night so there will likely be a little transition period in his new home. He’s likely going to be a big boy based on his paw size and overall sturdiness at such a young age. Whoever chooses this little boy is going to be filled with laughs and cuddles from this special one. www.coloradopuppy.org/how-to-adopt

Story
We’re looking for a loving new home for our 11-month-old dog. She is incredibly sweet and does well with other dogs, cats, and kids. We’ve made the difficult decision to rehome her because we believe she would thrive in a more active household. With three dogs, we’ve realized she would be happiest with a family who can give her more one-on-one attention and keep her engaged. She would make an amazing hiking buddy or companion for someone with an active lifestyle. She is a Border Collie mix, fully potty trained, crate trained, up to date on her shots, and spayed. This isn’t an easy decision for us, but we truly want what’s best for her and believe she’ll flourish in the right home where she can get the attention and activity she deserves. She also has an active wellness plan through Banfield pet hospital.

Adoption Fee: $475 When available, all animals are fixed in accordance with Colorado law, up to date on vaccines (may need boosters), and microchipped! What we know: Litter of 10 puppies, originally part of a litter of 14, found at approximately 2 months old in Texas. While in the care of another rescue, the litter slowly began breaking with parvo and sadly 3 puppies ultimately passed away. One puppy was transferred to another rescue, while the remaining 10 puppies were transferred into our care at approximately 4.5–5 months old. From the foster: Mazie is a sweet, playful, loving puppy who enjoys walks, toys, and chew time, then happily settles in for cuddles. She’s done great in foster care with both cats and dogs and would love a playful canine friend to learn from. Smart, eager to please, and full of love, she’s ready to bring joy and companionship to her forever family! www.coloradopuppy.org/how-to-adopt

Adoption Fee: $475 When available, all animals are fixed in accordance with Colorado law, up to date on vaccines (may need boosters), and microchipped! What we know: Transferred from Fresca Fund/Family Pet Care in Fort Worth, TX, (maybe) mom dog (Lola) and (maybe) daughter (Domino) believed to be somewhat bonded pair. Both were owner-surrenders but with some sporadic, documented health history from the same vet clinic. ***Lola and Domino will not be attending adoption events unless someone has reserved them or emailed to confirm intent to meet them. Please reach out if you'd like to set up a meet and greet with them.*** From the foster: Lola and Domino are *maybe* mother and daughter, *maybe* sisters, or maybe just bonded dogs who lived together. They're believed to do best together. Lola being around 14 years old (this is the info she came with, but we also suspect she might be closer to 11 years old based on our sleuthing), we're hoping to keep them together. One word to describe Domino is CHILL. She enjoys going for walks and being outside, but is also happy snuggling in her bed. Domino is fully potty-trained, sleeps through the night, and is good with other dogs. If you are looking for an easygoing companion, Domino is the girl for you! www.coloradopuppy.org/how-to-adopt

Adoption Fee: $475 When available, all animals are fixed in accordance with Colorado law, up to date on vaccines (may need boosters), and microchipped! What we know: Single female transferred at ~2.5 months old from Española Humane Society in New Mexico. Litter was anonymously dropped off/surrendered to the shelter prior to transfer. 4 littermates (puppies 556-559) were transferred 2 weeks prior. - Mostly crate trained - Partially potty trained From the foster: Meet Bessie — your future snuggle supervisor and full-time best friend! This little lady has a BIG personality and is never shy about sharing her opinions — especially if she thinks you should be holding her instead of doing literally anything else. Bessie loves being at the center of the action and happiest when she’s close to her humans, whether that means cuddle time on the couch or following you around to “help” with your day. Bessie is already making great progress with crate training and does well using training pads. She’s a smart girl who’s eager to keep learning, especially when love and attention are involved. When it comes to other dogs, Bessie can be a little shy at first, but with a little patience, space, and time, she warms up and makes friends beautifully. If you’re looking for a fun, affectionate puppy with endless love to give, Bessie may just be your perfect match! www.coloradopuppy.org/how-to-adopt
