Story
Oreo is a sweet boy who toggles between gentle affection and energetic playfulness. He loves running, giving kisses, and all the chew toys. He is a bit anxious, but very protective and super smart. He does not get along with my other male dog, but he does get along with my female. He hasn’t had much experience arounds kids, but I had no issues with the little experience he did have (though he’d probably do best not around small children). He is calmer & more reserved when he wants his space, but won’t turn down the opportunity to snuggle. I adopted him from a shelter almost 5 years ago, and while it breaks my heart to say goodbye to my sweet puppy boy, I have had a dramatic drop in my health over the last year and I am unfortunately just unable to care for him in the way he needs at this point. Shots are not currently up to date as I’ve been dealing with my health, but I am happy to update them before adoption.

EXCITING NEWS! Blake and JJ will be at the HAND Adoption event Saturday April 18th at the Granbury Pet Sense store! Come meet the boys between 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM. You might find the perfect match for your family! This two year old sweetheart is looking for his FOREVER family! He is a gentle boy who is easy to be around and will love you forever. He did grow up to be a big guy, but his gentle and easy nature more than makes up for his larger size. He is a good-hearted dog and deserves a loving family of his own. JJ is house trained, crate trained, up to day on vaccinations, heartworm meds, flea prevention and is neutered and microchipped. All he is lacking is his forever family! Story
Baron is a gentle giant and a truly gorgeous Australian Shepherd. He weighs about 42 pounds, is neutered, fully vaccinated, and ready to find the right forever home. Baron enjoys the simple things in life. He loves playing in water, spending time with other dogs, and chewing on his toys. He is both house trained and kennel trained, and he walks well on a leash. Baron is a chewer, so he will need plenty of appropriate chew toys to keep him occupied and away from furniture or walls. Baron gets along very well with other dogs and really enjoys their company. While he loves playing with canine friends, he is not the outgoing, overly affectionate type with people. If you are looking for a super bubbly, “happy-go-lucky” dog who instantly loves everyone, Baron may not be the best match. He is more of an introvert who takes time to feel comfortable. Once Baron gets to know you and spends time with you, he will form a strong bond. He is a loyal companion for someone who understands his personality and is willing to go at his pace. Baron can be a little wary of men, though he does not show any aggression. He simply needs patience and time to build trust, and it may take him a bit longer to bond with men than with women. Baron would do best with a patient family who understands that adjustment takes time. When he leaves his foster home, he can become a little sad or withdrawn at first, but with kindness, consistency, and patience, he will settle in and learn that his new home is a safe place. If you’re looking for a loyal companion and are willing to give Baron the time and space he needs to blossom, he will reward you with a lifelong bond. 🐾 Baron is being fostered in LA FERIA, TX. His adoption fee of $350 will cover his transport cost in TX.
