Story
Bonnie came to us as a young stray. She had resource guarding issues and really only got along with dogs that respected her boundaries. She loves to cuddle with her human but needs an owner that will allow her her space when she needs it. She is so very smart and I am unable to give her what she needs as a border collie breed. I adopted a puppy and as the puppy got older Bonnie would start fights with the puppy because she was not respecting Bonnie’s boundaries. Over the last 7 years I have had Bonnie she has bitten someone about 7 times. Most of the time it was while being pet or about to be pet. Again, I feel I am not able to provide Bonnie with the activity and socializing her breed demands.

Story
I have had Ghost since he was a baby. He is 10 now. I have just lived in Apartments forever so if you take him out, he will go pee, if you have a doggy door he will pee outside. However, if you leave him alone, he will pee in the house, or rather “mark his territory. I don’t mind keeping him or taking him back. I do love him soo much, he’s stayed with me through so many things in my life, but I found another dog, and it’s a dog I’ve always wanted. Ghost has aggressive tendencies, he isn’t constantly a threat which is why I’ve always been scared of someone putting him down. But he needs a male owner or someone to train him because he IS trainable, even with his age. He just recently started getting allergies, and an ear infections that I can not afford. He’ll bark when he hears a knock, and won’t shut up. He’s really protective tho. He doesn’t play with toys or anything because he takes it too serious. He will play with other dogs at the park, but you can not let children around him.

Story
MAISY NEEDS A NEW HOME WITH NO SMALL KIDS AND A SECURE BACKYARD.URGENTLY seeking the right home for Maisy. She would do best in a calm home with a secure backyard and an experienced, patient owner familiar with herding breeds or anxious/skittish dogs. I’ve had her since she was 5 weeks old and love her dearly, so finding the right home is incredibly important. She will come with her kennel, food container, remaining food, and all of her belongings.Reason for rehoming: I moved into an apartment, and she is not adjusting well. She is also showing signs of stress around my child. I’d love occasional updates or pictures if possible.Age: 5Breed: Blue Heeler MixLocation: Fort Worth, TXSpayed: YesSex: FemaleHealth: None currently. Broke her leg as a puppy but made a full recovery. FULLY VACCINATED AS OF 07/11/2026Heartworm NegativeMicrochipped: YesGood with: Dogs and older kids. No small children or babies.

Story
When was found abandoned on the streets. She was very fearful. She has really come out of her shell since she’s been here. She was alone and starving but now she’s sweet and her belly is full. She loves to be around people. She seems fine around other dogs as well. Poor Gwen. She went to the vet and possibly has cancer. She needs a hospice type home. *** She has been transferred to PAWS in white settlement***
