Story
Hi my name is Teddy! I am a sweet, lovable pup around 5 years old. Teddy is housebroken, crate trained, and walks well on a leash. He is very treat motivated and a fast learner, Teddy is always ready to play! His top two favorite activities are playing fetch and to cuddle-up and be a large lap dog. Teddy is very lovable but is still learning not to jump so he would be best in a household with older kids. If you are looking for your next best friend Teddy is ready to find his forever home

Story
saved from a neglectful neighbor who had him locked in a shed outside in the heat, have been taken care of him for 1 day at the time of the post. extremely friendly, and good around other dogs/cats. very very high energy, will need an owner who is dedicated to making little ash apart of their lifestyle. very cuddly, was only able to get him to sleep after he jumped onto my lap and started cuddling me. is neutered so likely had a home before the situation he was rescued from. like stated before, he will need someone who is experienced/dedicated to giving him a lifestyle he will enjoy as he grows restless when under stimulated/bored and does not do well alone(clawing at doors when he’s by himself)

Story
If you're looking for a nice family dog who will love you with all his heart, you need to meet JJ! JJ is a gentle boy who is easy to be around and will love you forever. He did grow up to be a big guy, but his gentle and easy nature more than makes up for his larger size. He is a good-hearted dog and deserves a loving family of his own. He is super friendly and eager to please. JJ is house trained, crate trained, up to day on vaccinations, heartworm meds, flea prevention and is neutered and microchipped. All he is lacking is his forever family! If you are looking for an easy going big guy to add to your family then you would love JJ! While we expect our dogs to be part of the family, therefore, live in the house, we require adopters to have a dog-safe fenced-in yard. We do home visits before adoptions are finalized.

Story
Meet Usher — the four-legged headliner you didn’t know you needed.Usher is a10-month-old Terrier mix with big energy, a bigger personality, and main-character confidence. Born to a mama named Madonna (icon status confirmed), he’s clearly destined for stardom — but he’s not riding anyone’s coattails. This boy is crate trained, house trained, leash trained, neutered, and up to date on vaccines. He’s smart, eager to please, and loves learning new commands.Usher is playful, goofy, and delightfully clumsy. He lives for swimming, morning walks, afternoon play sessions, and meeting the neighborhood kids at the bus stop. He adores other dogs and would happily have a canine sibling, but with an active family and plenty of toys, he could also thrive as the only pup.Favorite hobbies include sticks, golf cart rides, toys, treats, lake days, deer watching, squirrel surveillance, and perfecting his signature excited butt wiggle. He loves adventures — whether that’s tagging along to work, lounging on a coffee shop patio, or diving into the backyard pool. The resident cat currently provides top-tier chase entertainment, but with consistent guidance and a confident feline, he could likely learn to coexist.Usher needs an active home that will embrace his zest for life — and once he’s burned off that puppy energy, he’s a champion couch napper and blanket snuggler. He sleeps quietly through the night in his crate without a peep.If you’re looking for a joyful, adventurous, slightly chaotic best friend who will hype up your daily life and then crash beside you for cuddles, Usher is ready to take center stage. To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt. Story
Meet Sheila!Hi there, my name is Sheila, I’m the coolest deaf dog in all the land. (It doesn’t slow me down) I am 2 1/2 yrs old, Australian Shepherd mix. Life is an absolute blast! I love everything and I’m always up for a good time from the moment I stretch my legs to the second I curl up for a nap. And let me tell you I’m no ordinary pup, I’m potty-trained, crate trained, use a doggy door. I love everyone from tiny humans to big humans. I love exploring the great outdoors, whether it’s going for a walk, a hike, or a jog with my human. Car rides are the bomb. And who can resist snuggling up for a good movie marathon. I’m dog friendly (when introduced properly) I would love a buddy that I can watch. (That’s how I get cues) I don’t think I could live with a cat, chickens, ferrets or rabbits, because I have a very high prey drive. If you think you have a buddy and you’re looking for a very loyal friend why don’t we meet?To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt. Story
Meet Miriam! Miriam is a 6.5 year old Australian shepherd or Catahoula mix who was a wonderful momma and weaned her puppies last year, but is now looking for her turn for a forever home!Miriam is very sweet and loving. She’s fully potty trained, good with cats and dogs, loves kids, and fully believes she is a lap dog despite being 66 pounds. She bonds very strongly to her people and mostly just wants to curl up near someone she trusts. She is not a rambunctious dog and is very reliable with potty training. Miriam would do best in a house with a backyard because long walks can be overwhelming for her.She is a deeply gentle dog but has anxiety because of her past. She doesn’t respond to that anxiety with aggression. Instead, she finds a safe place to hide until she calms down. Unfamiliar people, especially men, scare her at first, and walks can be hard for her. She tends to bond faster with women, though she has warmed up very well to the foster’s male family and friends. She has done well with both cats and dogs, though she does best with calmer dogs. She can be fearful of dogs that bark often and those that always want to play.Once Miriam trusts someone, she becomes incredibly affectionate and attached. She would be the perfect dog for a family with kids and a settled routine. To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt. It doesn`t obligate you, but it is the first step. We don`t get to all of the inquiries but respond to all applications. Thank you for choosing to rescue!
