Story
I acquired my dog from an adoption event inside of Petco that was ultimately set up by Homeless Hounds Shelter of Colleyville. I do have him signed under 24 Hour Petwatch and paid a $100 fee (one time payment). The adopter must be willing to pay the fee with 24 Hour Petwatch in order to fully transfer custody of Buster. I just want Buster to be taken care of and with someone/people who can keep him up to date on vet visits. He does not bark nor does he like long walks. He’s a great dog to relax and cuddle with; he also knows to sit on command. He’s 8 years old, his birthday is at the end of February. I will give the folder with all of his information the day of picking him up. Please let me know if you would like more information on Buster.

Story
Maverick is a one year old energetic Texas Heeler. We have had him since we adopted him from a local shelter when he was 8 weeks old. My wife unfortunately is very allergic to his hair and makes it hard for us to allow him to roam free inside like we would like. We really want to find a place for him where he can be embraced fully and loved on because he is a huge cuddle bug.

😍💗 ADOPT SADIE 💗😍 Sadie is the cutest little, tiny girl. She was captured by the wonderful team at Mutts & Mayhem Emergency Search and Rescue after running around for a couple months by herself. Sadie is very sweet but doesn't trust easily. She's skittish around people and uncomfortable in new situations, but she really enjoys being with other dogs. She also loves snacks! SO MUCH. Sadie is looking for a very special family, who understands she will need time to adjust. They will need to be committed to continuing her socialization while keeping her safely secured. Sadie is adorable, but she may never be the kind of dog who greets you at the door or comes to you for pets and hugs. ADOPTION APPLICATION: www.tinyurl.com/IADRAdoptionApp ***IMPORTANT- PLEASE READ*** Our adoption fee is $175. We require an application to be completed prior to setting up a meet-and-greet. We do not offer "on-the-spot" adoptions. We do not adopt on a first-come, first-served basis. We do our best to match dogs with families that will be a good fit to help ensure a successful adoption. We reserve the right to decline any application for any reason. Due to the nature of our adoption process, our fosters are usually only able to consider forever families within a reasonable driving distance of the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. A vet reference is required, and a trial period will be completed before finalizing the adoption. Thank you for your understanding.

Story
Oh my gosh, are you here to read more about little ol’ me? Oh, where do I start! Well, I’m just a happy doggo trying to live my best life and match up with a new family. DAS is helping me search, isn’t that cool? We’re still getting to know each other, but I think we’re going to find me some great friends. I’ve let them know that I enjoy long walks on warm evenings, trying all kinds of new snacks, and chewing on doggie toys. Who doesn’t love those things? Speaking of snacks, I’ve heard that Dallas is an exciting doggie-friendly place for food enthusiasts! I’d love to check out a few patios some day with my new family. Does that sound like something you’d enjoy, too? I sure hope so… maybe you could click that “Adopt Me” button and we’ll get to know each other better!

Story
My name is Richard and my friends at the shelter tell me I am a very good boy. I can be a little shy at first, but if you give me a little bit of time I really come out of my shell. I walk very nicely on leash and the people here think I might be potty trained because I always try really hard to keep my room clean. I did come in as a stray, so my past is a mystery, but I'm excited to see what my future holds. Could it be with you?Foster Testimonial: "He is fantastic on a leash and might be an excellent running dog. At home, he coexisted peacefully with my cat. They could both be in the same room each doing their own thing. He did not bark but liked to know where the human was at all times and he followed me the whole time. I believe he will be an amazing bed or couch dog. I gave him permission to sit with me and he would join on his terms. He loved being on the bed by himself! He eats his medicine well, does not rush to eat, and loves chicken! While he takes time to warm up to people, he is ready to love!"Dogs: I've done well with other dogs including some small ones! I do prefer my play pretty low-contact and I generally am happy to just hang out with other dogs. If that sounds like your dog, I'm sure we will get along great. You are always welcome to bring your dog(s) to meet me before we head home.Cats: Sure! My foster home had a cat and I think they are pretty cool! Kids: Well, like I said I can be a little shy at first and since I came as a stray my friends don't know if I've ever been around kids. I think I would do well with them, but I'd like to meet kids under 5 before we go home.Come meet me today at 2400 Lone Star Drive!

Story
Oh, hello! I’m so excited that you’re checking out my profile! I’ve had so many interesting adventures lately, but I’m really looking forward to settling down with a new family. DAS has been exciting too, and I’m still getting to know my new friends here. Do you know how HUGE this place is? There are so many new smells and people to check out! Anyway, now that you’re here to get to know more about me, I should tell you three things:1.You haven’t lived until you’ve tasted peanut butter. It’s this crazy, sticky stuff that tastes sugary and salty at the same time. Lucky you, though, I’m exactly the dog to introduce you to it if you haven’t tried it before! 2.I hog the bed. I admit it! But honestly, that just means we can snuggle closer, right? 3.I never lose at tug-o-war. Don’t believe me? Click that “Adopt Me” button and I’ll prove it!
