Story
Luna is a very sweet and loving 7 month old Baby. She is about 30 pounds. And was a gift from our kids. We love her but we are elderly and Luna has a lot of energy. And often overwhelms us, she needs room to run, because she is a herding breed.

Story
I found this sweet girl wandering a back road off Hwy 1187 in Rendon Tx. She was on the slower side and having a difficult time dodging cars in the road. I brought her to my home 04/21 and she has been with me since. After an extensive vet visit we found she was not chipped, had minor issues like fleas, and some major issues like muscle/weight loss and dental infection and is heartworm positive. I'm a young paramedic who cannot give Sandy the home she needs. On top of that her medical needs are becoming too much for a dog I just thought I was sheltering for a night to be reunited the next day to her family. She is a very sweet girl who will latch onto anyone who gets down with her on the floor and rubs her belly. Sandy has been highly food motivated since I have met her and she has a stomach made of iron, sweet girl took so many medicines and no messes. But she needs a home, not a kennel. Rabies vaccinated, flea/dewormer, and she is starting treatment for heartworm. Needs dental work.

Story
Petey is a sweet, fun, lovable pup. I have had him since birth. He is 5 months old now. He has been raised on a ranch around lots of other animals, dogs, cats, horses, cows, and rabbits. He is very good with my kids and will follow them anywhere. He is a pretty good guard dog as well barks when ever anyone or anything comes near the house. He is a good boy, sits for his food or a treat and will shake. He loves other dogs and cats. Honestly the only problem I am having with him right now is he keeps chasing my horse around and the cows. That is in his breed though. His dad is a full blood blue heeler and his mom is a catahoula / blue Lacey mix. He is not potty trained as he has been strictly an outside dog. He has been wormed several times and had one round of puppy shots but he will need another round of shots and a rabies shot. Also not fixed yet. He needs a loving home that has the time to give him the attention he deserves.

Story
Firu is a sweet boy who loves his snuggles and his people. He is a 7 year old border collie mix. We found him on the side of the road in Austin when he was around 11 months old, and we could not locate his previous owners. He can get along with other dogs after a very slow introduction but displays food aggression, so he would be better suited as an only pet. Also when seeing other dogs out and about, he tends to bark a lot. We are so sad to have to rehome our pup after 7 years, but unfortunately, he needs a family without children as he has bite history. While he can still see, Firu does have some visual impairment that seems to be worsening with age and he tends to be on the anxious side. He would be great company for a local calm, child-free home as he is a people dog that listens well and likes to be in close proximity to his owners.

Story
Meet Luna (aka Lu!) She is 47 lbs of personality, zoomies, and sweetness. Luna is the total package! She is smart, playful, loyal, and endlessly entertaining. She’s the kind of dog that keeps you laughing daily with her goofy antics, then sneaks in for a surprise kiss when you least expect it. The basics: Crate trained Potty trained Knows a few commands & is a SUPER quick learner Dog friendly with medium/large dogs (loves her heeler foster brother!). Hasn’t been tested with small dogs or cats! Her vibe: Luna is a high-energy, athletic girl who LOVES to play, run, and stay busy. She’s independent enough to entertain herself, but always happy to check in for pets and affection, on her terms, of course. She’s not a full-time cuddle bug, but when she chooses you? It hits different Her dream home: • A house with room to run (no apartments for this girl) • An active family who can keep up with her energy • A playful dog sibling would be a huge bonus! • Older kids preferred (best without littles) • Someone patient and committed to continued training (leash manners + jumping) Luna is incredibly smart and eager, she just needs someone willing to guide her and help her channel all that brilliance into being the best girl she can be. Luna has shown no aggression or behavioral concerns, she is just a happy, curious girl ready for her next chapter. If you’re looking for a fun, loyal, slightly chaotic best friend who will keep life exciting and full of love… Luna is your girl. 🐾 Ready to meet Luna?
