Story
Hello, my name is Mrs. Beasley! I am going on 4 years old and am looking for my forever home! When I came to live with my current foster mom, it took me a few weeks to settle in. I was a bit anxious at first, but now I am my happy, loving, and silly self! If you think I look sad in any of my pictures, I’m actually very happy! I have a natural RSF (resting sad face)—it’s a hound thing! Some of my very favorite things in the whole world are snuggling up close, watching the world go by through the window, and, best of all, spending time outside! Seriously, I might love being outside even more than treats! If you give me the chance, I’ll happily spend hours just sniffing, exploring, and rolling in the grass. I’m also a champion at playing “Where’s Waldo?” (except, in my version, Waldo is a squirrel!). You might catch me gazing up into the trees, determined to spot a furry friend hiding up there!Because I’m a hound, my nose is my superpower! Sometimes it takes over and I just have to follow an interesting scent-- even if it means pretending not to hear my foster mom calling me inside. My love of sniffing and exploring sometimes makes me a little stubborn, but it's all part of my charm! I’m also very proud of my vocal abilities! Most of the time I use my inside voice, but when I want to play or if I see the neighbors having fun without me, my outside voice comes out. If you distract me with a treat or close the curtains, I usually remember to start using my inside voice again! There’s one thing you should know before thinking about bringing me home: I’m not super comfortable around men, especially in small spaces. I wish I could explain why, but it just makes me a little nervous. What I’m really hoping for is a loving home with a kind woman (or women!) who will show me patience and shower me with the love I know I deserve. If that sounds like you, I can’t wait to meet you!Mrs. Beasley was heartworm positive and has completed her treatment. She received a preliminary negative result on a microfilaria test but is awaiting a negative test result to a Heartworm test 9 months after treatment per our vets recommendations. She no longer needs to be on exercise restrictions. Mrs. Beasley will need continued use of monthly heartworm prevention. These medical needs will be the responsibility of the adopter.--------------------------------------------All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption. Please note that the majority of our dogs in rescue are from shelters where they have been found as strays or abandoned. Their breed description is based on our very best educated guess based on physical characteristics and their dispositions. If they came to our rescue as an owner surrender, the breed description will be listed as provided by the previous owner.Adoption Fee - $400To apply for this pup, please submit an Adoption Application at http://warriordogrescue.com/adopt/adoption-application/
